The fact that Damien will only believe that I'm getting along with his friend only seems quite beguiling when it opposite the thought.
When he had walked up to me, he had his hands around my waist and the curse in Austin eyes couldn't be hidden.
It's like he'd drag Damien by the hair and take him away from me.
I raised my chin as Damien seems to say nothing but praises about me.
"I'm fascinated by that" he compliments desperately wanting to leave but then I doubt his pride will let him.
"What do you think, you're having dinner with us right? I mean just the three of us, then I'd tell you about how she tackled the case today"
"I did nothing" I whispered shyly as I glued myself more with him and smiling sheepishly.
"And that trustee of yours, I think I should hire him... it's caelus right?" Damien suddenly said like he wasn't the one who brought caelus but then possibly he just wants it to look like I was the one who planned it all.
