As murmurs rose within the crowd, the door before the institute staff opened, and a large group of uniformed soldiers entered the hall.
Le An slowly released the hand of the Esper he had been guiding. Theo, like everyone else, frowned in confusion as he approached the soldiers, while the noise around them grew louder and louder.
Without offering any explanation, the soldiers simply announced that the building must be evacuated and that GAC was now under temporary government control.
"What does that even mean?"
"Hey, what does it mean that they've seized control?"
