Chapter 1 — A Boy, A Bear and a Jar of Ashes.

— "You're saying that… this is all that's left of the legendary hero?" Kael whispered, looking at the small ceramic pot in his hands.

It was ugly. Cracked. With a loose wooden lid. And yet it gave off a faint heat, as if something inside it was still burning.

— Yuuuup — replied Urg, the three-meter-tall talking bear, while gnawing on a turnip as if it were the most normal thing in the world.. — And now he is your responsibility.

— but why me?!

— Because his will said, "Give my ashes to the idiot who stumbles upon the gate of the Mist Guild on Tuesdays after it rains."

Kael's eyes widened.

— I tripped… yesterday…

— It was Tuesday.

Kael sighed. He was jobless, homeless, and now… with a jar of ashes from a dead hero? This had to be a cosmic joke.

But that night, when the full moon illuminated his tavern room, the pot glowed. And a voice echoed in his mind:

— "You me Load, Boy. Now it's your turn to fight."
