The car door was opened for me as I stepped down.
Some of the guards strode ahead of me.
I exhaled sharply...
As the chilly morning wind blew through my hair.

"Am sorry, I can't tell it's personal sir" I answered.
"I understand Ms Rivera, you know? Since you left we lost a lot of patients... Most of the children you took care of from the cancer ward died.... And a lot of bad stuff.. we are on the verge of closing down our hospital but thanks to the almighty, you came back" He said.
"Why did they die doctor?" I asked in tears.
"I Know, there are other best medical workers here,so why the bad report?" I sob.
" That I have no answer to Ms River, all I could say is that, most of the children took you as the mother they never had. They kept asking after you...when we couldn't provide you. Some of them stopped eating, other's condition increased.... And that's what led to their death" He said while wiping off tears from his eyes.
"Am so sorry doctor, am really sorry" I cried.
"It's okay, I know you're a good person and you have a good reason for being away." He said.
"I'm back doctor, I promise not to go outside the country for now, I will start all over again" I assured him.
"Thanks so much." He appreciates.
"You're welcome Dr, excuse me.. I need to go prepare for tomorrow, I have an operation to carry out" I smiled.
"Good luck Ms Rivera, surgeon Lucia will hand you the the patient report to work on"
"Thanks doctor" I said about existing his office.

I was about heading to the parking lot..
When someone pulled me by my arms.
I was startled and dumbstruck..
I turned around briskly only to see Damon..
I was flabbergasted, as I stared mouth openly at him.
"River?" He called in dazed.
"Damon?" I called.
"You bitch!! After all I've done for you? You left with another man" He roared.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
