Cassian frowned at the screen.

Alvin leaned in, squinting. "That's not right."

Julian stepped forward. "What's wrong?"

Cassian exhaled through his nose. "Her signal's split again."

"How split?" Kim asked from the other side of the room, her voice quiet.

Alvin answered.

"Completely."

He tapped a few keys, and the display shifted—showing two separate resonance profiles. Both active. Both layered on top of each other.

"Her baseline pattern's still here," he said. "Same frequency she's always had. But there's another one underneath it. Stronger. Denser. Slightly offset, but synchronized like it's… harmonizing."

I stared at the shapes on the screen. The ghostly twin signatures, moving in tandem.

Julian's hand rested on the back of my shoulder. "What does that mean?"

Cassian didn't answer immediately. His jaw clenched. Then—

"It means she's not just carrying an echo."

He looked at me.

"It means she's becoming one."

Silence.
