Chapter 59 - Chapter 59

"Steve survived… Moteng is about to suffer…"

"It's looking like this is turning into a one-sided slaughter…"

"Steve: There are many ways to send you away. I just want to keep you close for a little longer."

"Everyone, pay attention—let's see what traps Steve will set next…"

At this point, all players shifted their focus entirely to Xu Yuan's perspective.

No one wanted to watch Moteng struggle anymore—they all understood he was now a lamb to be slaughtered.

After Xu Yuan safely left the area where Moteng was trapped, he began exploring the mine cave, searching for a suitable place to "play his game."

Soon, Xu Yuan found a spot and immediately started constructing something.

**The players' excitement soared; Xu Yuan finally made his move.** But as they watched, they couldn't quite grasp what he was planning.

Xu Yuan meticulously timed every action, knowing that his work required patience and precision. Meanwhile, Moteng remained unaware of the looming danger. He was still racking his brains on how to kill Xu Yuan, wandering around until he suddenly saw the ocean ahead.

An idea sparked in his mind.

**"Watch how you survive this time!"** he muttered.

In the game, long immersion in water drains oxygen, which in turn reduces health once depleted. Moteng's plan was to drown Xu Yuan—by trapping him in water long enough to exhaust his oxygen.

To do this, he needed to surround Xu Yuan with water—forming an underwater prison that prevented him from surfacing quickly.

**"What materials are best for fencing?"** he pondered.

He reasoned that Xu Yuan's current tools had to be crafted early in the game—likely by chopping trees to make a workbench, then crafting a wooden pickaxe to gather stones. No synthetic axes or advanced tools.

Moteng gathered logs, converting them into wooden planks. He then began to craft a water prison, starting from the shoreline and building upward with vertical structures to increase the time Xu Yuan would need to surface.

He built a 2x2 underwater enclosure, thickening the internal structure fourfold, leaving only a single entrance at the top.

Seeing the time was almost up, Moteng surfaced briefly to restore his oxygen, then dived back down, sealing himself inside the water prison.

The viewers watched intently—Moteng's bold move piqued their interest.

**"Wow, Moteng isn't backing down—he's trying to drown Steve!"**

**"He's using wooden boards instead of stones; he must be betting that Xu Yuan doesn't have an axe."**

**"This is incredible! So exciting!"**

The crowd grew more animated as they saw both sides setting intricate traps and countermeasures, making the game far more engaging than simple PvP duels.

Initially, spectators found the early stages—like Ken and Momo's duel—somewhat dull, with little operational depth. But now, with these clever strategies, the competition had become thrilling.

Five minutes later, Xu Yuan dug up the stone above him at the last moment, just as Moteng finished the last plank of his water prison.

**"Time to swap!"**

They exchanged positions instantly. Xu Yuan teleported over, examining the surroundings with a smile.

**"Water prison? Looks like a clever move,"** he muttered.

He pulled out his workbench, surprisingly carrying it with him—something most players wouldn't normally do, since it can be crafted on the spot with wooden planks. But in this intense game, having a workbench ready was crucial.

**"Moteng didn't account for this,"** others noted. **"Steve brought a tool table—he's got an axe waiting."**

Just when everyone thought Xu Yuan would craft an axe, they were stunned to see him pull an axe out of his backpack.

**"Did he forget he had an axe?"**

**"Or did he bring it on purpose?"**

**"What is Xu Yuan planning to craft now?"**

They watched as Xu Yuan placed six wooden planks on the crafting table and crafted a simple door. When it was ready, he positioned it against the water prison.

Standing before the door, Xu Yuan's oxygen bar disappeared—a clear sign of his intention to dive into the water prison and trap Moteng.

**"What? The oxygen value just vanished! Is he…?"**

**"No way, he's using the door to block himself inside?"**

**"This is genius! He's sealing himself in with the water!"**

The players erupted in surprise and admiration.

**"This operation is unbelievable—who would think of using a door like that?"**

**"If the oxygen is gone, he's effectively trapped. That's a brilliant move."**

**"Steve's tactics are next-level. I've learned a lot just watching."**

As Xu Yuan fully immersed himself, Moteng's water prison was completed, and the underwater trap was set.

The game had entered a new phase—more strategic, more unpredictable, and infinitely more exciting.
