Chapter 18 - The Intruder

After observing the situation, Gusa came up with a plan. He immediately met with his group of Geniuses.

"What? What kind of request is that, Gusa? You're being ridiculous, damn it! Do you want our country destroyed just because of one rebellious kid? Hey man, use your common sense!" said a Genius named Alifade.

"So what then? The robots you've carefully and routinely built day by day… are you just going to leave them on display? Isn't that a total waste, Li?" Gusa replied firmly.

"That's not the point! I didn't build all of this for some petty cause like the one you mentioned! Attacking another country? Just because of a single rebellious boy you think escaped? That would be a huge loss for me!" said Alifade, closing his eyes, unable to comprehend Gusa's request.

"You're right, Li... To be honest, I'm too lazy to take this seriously. But I've got nothing better to do, so… that's why," Gusa admitted.

"You're just looking for fun, aren't you? If you've got nothing to do, come help me instead!" Alifade offered.

"Help? With what?" asked Gusa.

"I've detected the soul signal of a foreign entity entering our territory, but I'm unsure what to do... At least give me your opinion," Alifade replied.

"You just scolded me for overreacting to a small matter, and now this? But... since you're the one who built all of this, regarding the intruder... wouldn't a single strike from your best robot be enough?" said Gusa.

"No! This is different from a normal intruder, Gusa. I don't understand it… My detection AI sometimes picks up only one intruder… but occasionally, it detects two. And each time one is detected, my system malfunctions shortly after. So… I plan to capture it using the best robot I've ever built. What do you think?" Alifade explained, then asked for Gusa's thoughts.

"Ah, turns out he's way better than me, huh? I thought I was the only one with soul-detection AI… haha, thankfully he's too kind (he thought to himself). Ah! I think your idea isn't bad at all... but what do you want me to do?" Gusa asked.

"I know a bit about you. From the rumors going around, you're a master of soul-copying with robots, and surely you're also skilled in data theft, right? So… can you steal the intruder's data for now? That way, my robot can identify them based on available data. Then, you just need to command my robot to capture them!" Alifade explained.

"O-Of course I can (he lied). But… isn't your robot only programmable by you?" Gusa asked.

"You're right… but from now on, I'm giving you permission to command that one robot—just that one!" Alifade replied, staring at Gusa.

"Alright, I understand. Thank you for the trust. I'll head out now!" Gusa said enthusiastically and respectfully.

Alifade then told him where his best robot was and entrusted it to Gusa.

Elsewhere, Yananaig felt very relieved as he observed how peaceful and energetic the SHAYAN group had become. Everyone was using their assigned robot for training. Yananaig felt reassured that taking over SHAYAN temporarily was the right decision.

Meanwhile, Gens Sheyan continued training alone in an old, large building deep within the Karunia Forest. He trained and studied with great enthusiasm. In just one day, he had already learned five code formulas to generate elements from the book given to him by Yananaig.

"Ah, studying like this is exhausting... But at least I feel motivated—unlike at school. This is tied to my life's purpose! Hehe, I never imagined I'd come this far. Is it really true? I can summon stone, electricity, walls, fire, and water just by speaking a code to my AI?

Alright then, let's try! A98uP1456!" Gens said aloud in the dead silence.

Sfx: bushhh

Gens was amazed by his own ability. He had successfully summoned fire with the exact specifications he imagined. He even thought—if he truly wanted to burn this country with his fire, maybe he could do it! But he felt strange. Even after summoning just that much fire, he felt a bit weak. What did it mean? The AI was the one executing the command—so why was he tired?

"Ahahaha, that looked pretty cool. But hey AI! Why do I feel drained? You're the one doing the work, right?" Gens asked his AI. But just as the AI started to respond, a man appeared at the entrance of the large building.

"Because… even if the AI is the one executing it, it draws your energy to create the element! That also shows your AI has fully synchronized with your body," said the man who suddenly appeared behind Gens, at the door.

"Hey! Who are you? Why are you here?" Gens shouted in shock. He thought no one else knew about this place—yet here stood a stranger.

"Yo! I'm just an intruder! Oh no—we are two people! But also one!" said the stranger cryptically.

"Huh? What do you mean? I don't understand any of this! What do you want from me?" Gens asked firmly.

"Ah, sorry, sorry. Relax. First, let me introduce myself. I'm Touzen… an intruder from the country of Jheind. I came here just to find friends! Because… I ran away from my country. I want to start a new life here. Nice to meet you! I was able to come here thanks to an awesome AI aircraft—which I stole from my own father!" Touzen said honestly and cheerfully.

"Friends, huh? But what did you mean earlier? I didn't understand a word!" Gens asked.

"Ah, so you're a bit slow, huh? I meant the thing about the AI absorbing your energy—" Touzen's explanation was cut off.

"No! Not that, idiot! I meant the 'two people but one' part. What's that supposed to mean?" Gens asked, annoyed.

"Ahahaha, sorry! You're smart, I misjudged you! What I meant by 'two people but one' is... I can summon another person from my body at will! Look!" said Touzen as he summoned a woman—she appeared from the shadow behind Touzen's body. Gens was stunned, speechless at what he saw.

"She… the one I summoned… is my lover! Ah no! I already consider her my wife! We've done adult stuff many times, and we both—" Touzen's words were cut off by Gens' loud yell.

"STOP! I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT STUFF! Damn it, why should I care?! Y-You… what's going on? How can she be… part of your body?" Gens asked, suspicious and confused.

"Oh that… my wife isn't fused with my body! She just resides within me, quietly, without interference. This happened a long time ago due to a tragic event that's… hard to talk about…" Touzen answered calmly.
