Chapter 5 - Chapter 3: Shadows in the Leaves

The following morning, the air over Konoha was unusually tense. The Hokage, HiruzenSarutobi, stood at the top of his tower, pipe in hand, peering out over the village he had sworn to protect. Though aged, his senses had not dulled — he had felt it last night. An intruder. No, not an ordinary one… something else entirely.

The chakra had been foreign, refined, yet immense. And it had vanished as quickly as it appeared.

"Summon the ANBU," he said quietly.

Revan sat with Naruto on a small hill overlooking the Hidden Leaf. Morning sunlight painted the village gold, but Revan's gaze was distant.

"They're watching us," he said.

Naruto looked up. "Who?"

"Masked shinobi. Skilled, silent. They're afraid of what I did. Of what you are."

Naruto's fists clenched. "They want to take me away again."

"They won't," Revan said firmly. "Not while I draw breath."

He stood up and looked toward the tower.

"We need to leave. Soon."

Naruto hesitated. "Will we ever come back?"

Revan looked down at the boy. "Perhaps. When you're ready. When they're ready. But for now, your future lies elsewhere."

In the depths of the Hokage's tower, four masked ANBU knelt before Hiruzen. One of them spoke. "He accessed the sealed vault. Used chakra mimicry, unlike anything we've ever seen. We have no record of the technique."

"And the boy?"

"Still with him. He hasn't harmed Naruto. If anything, he's been protective."

The Hokage was silent for a long time. Then, "Increase surveillance. But do not engage unless he becomes hostile. He may yet be an ally."

Even so, he turned to his crystal ball, searching for Revan through divination. What he saw startled him — a vision of Revan meditating, surrounded by swirling blue energy unlike any chakra. It was deeper. Older.

"The Force…?" he whispered, feeling echoes of the Sage of Six Paths.

He leaned back, troubled. "He's not from this world."

The next day, Revan visited the graveyard on the outskirts of Konoha. Naruto trailed behind him, unsure why they were there.

They stopped before two stones bearing names worn by time — Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki.

Naruto stared at the names, his lips trembling. Revan placed a hand on his shoulder.

"You should say goodbye. They deserve that. And so do you."

Naruto knelt in silence, staring at the headstones for a long time before whispering, "I'm going to be strong. I'll protect people… like you tried to protect me. I promise."

Revan waited patiently, his cloak stirring in the breeze. Then, together, they walked away.

That evening, Revan returned to the place where his ship was hidden. Naruto followed, quieter now, thoughtful. They had packed little — only the essentials and the scrolls Revan had copied. The boy now wore a simple tunic — not his old village clothes — and a satchel across his shoulder.

"You said you'd train me," Naruto said.

Revan looked back, eyes glowing faintly in the dim light. "I will. As your brother. As your Master."

He knelt.

"Naruto, you are the legacy of two great people — and something more. You were born of this world, but the Force calls to you as it called to me. Come with me. And I will teach you everything I know."

Naruto didn't hesitate. He took Revan's hand.

"Then let's go."

They boarded the Jedi Starfighter, Revan carefully modifying the cockpit to cradle the boy beside him in the co-pilot's seat. The engines roared to life.

As the stars welcomed them once more, Revan's Jedi Starfighter rose into the night sky. The Hidden Leaf grew smaller and smaller beneath them, until it was nothing but a speck.

Behind them was a life of pain and rejection.

Ahead — a future of hope, challenge, and change.

A new journey had begun — not just for Revan, but for Naruto. A future where the Jedi Code and shinobi spirit would intertwine. Where destiny could be rewritten.
