Justin's POV
The house was too quiet. After I got back from work, I could not work on the pending files. I had to go to my bedroom to rest. My head was aching, my heart aching.
I lay there on the bed, staring at the ceiling like I'd been doing for hours, the pale glow from the wall sconces throwing shadows that looked more alive than I felt. I hadn't moved in so long my muscles were beginning to ache, but I didn't care. What did it matter? My body could scream all it wanted there was no drowning out the voice inside my head.
