When Hinata and the others began dealing with the real Uchiha Madara, Namikaze Minato at the headquarters in the Land of Fire received the news.
The masked man isn't the real Uchiha Madara… then who is he?
"Where is the masked man now!?" Minato demanded, rising to his feet.
"Currently, he's fighting the troops led by Lord Raikage," Inoichi Yamanaka replied.
"To be honest, the situation is grim. After the masked man obtained the Rinnegan, he used Impure World Reincarnation to turn Jinchūriki into the new Six Paths of Pain. Lord Raikage's forces are struggling badly."
Smack!
Minato slammed a hand on the table. "I'll join the battle as well!"
As the Chief of General Staff, Terumi Mei was startled. "Hokage-sama, is that wise? You're the Supreme Commander!"
Minato's eyes were firm.
"Two Madaras have appeared, this is the moment that will decide the war. I've fought the masked man before, and I understand his space-time ninjutsu."
He turned to Terumi Mei.
"Mizukage-sama, I'll bring you with me using Flying Thunder God. The enemy has turned the Jinchūriki into the new Six Paths. I can't fight him alone without intel on them."
Terumi Mei nodded and addressed the others.
"I'm leaving things here in your hands."
"Yes, ma'am!" the staff responded in unison.
Minato's Flying Thunder God rivaled the Cloud Shinobi instant Space Transfer technique, and with the years he had trained since surviving the Nine Tails incident, his power had surpassed even the Third Raikage at his peak.
The only thing holding him back was the lack of a Kekkei Genkai or a tailed beast's raw power. Once a shinobi steps into the realm of super Kage, further progress without such hacks is difficult.
Unlike the original timeline, Three Tails Jinchūriki, Yagura, had committed suicide, so Obito never made him a part of the new Six Paths.
Instead, the lineup now included Four Tails, Five Tails, Six Tails, Seven Tails, and Eight Tails.
The Fourth Raikage roared in rage at the sight of his brother, now a hollow shell under the enemy's control. He could no longer restrain his fury and charged straight at the masked man.
But against six tailed beasts in full form, the Raikage's troops were utterly overwhelmed. Their numbers fell rapidly with each rampage of the beasts.
Obito standing atop the fully transformed Eight Tails barely needed to move. His Rinnegan gave him perfect control of the beasts, letting them do all the work.
"Tailed Beast Bomb!!!"
He commanded the Eight Tails to fire, sending a massive sphere of destruction straight toward the Fourth Raikage.
For a moment, the Raikage thought death was inevitable
Shing!
A three-pronged kunai whistled through the air, intercepting the Tailed Beast Bomb.
In the same instant, Minato flashed into view, grabbed the bomb within his barrier, and disappeared.
A second later
BOOM!!!!
Several kilometers away, a deafening explosion erupted, a hemisphere of destruction tearing through the earth. A massive mushroom cloud rose in the distance.
Whoosh!
Minato reappeared at the center of the battlefield.
"Flying Thunder God Barrier… troublesome as ever, Yellow Flash," Obito said coldly, standing on the Eight Tails' head.
Minato and Terumi Mei landed in formation.
"Who are you really?" Minato demanded, pointing a kunai at the masked man.
"Hahaha…"
Obito laughed, raising his hands.
"It doesn't matter who I am or what you call me. My goal is to complete the Eye of the Moon Plan."
Minato frowned.
"Then there's nothing more to say."
He hurled several Flying Thunder God kunai, his body flashing like lightning as he instantly warped between them appearing just ten meters from Obito.
"Three Styles: Spiral Flashing Super Round Dance Roar!"
Obito sneered.
"Fast but deal with the tailed beasts first!"
The Seven Tails swooped down from the sky, its insect-like body crashing toward Minato.
He vanished with Flying Thunder God, reappearing with a massive Rasengan in hand.
"Sage Art: Super Big Ball Rasengan!!!"
The sphere smashed into the Seven Tails' head, slamming it into the ground.
But the Eight Tails' tentacles and the Four Tails' massive fists were already rushing in.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!"
"Thunderous Heavy Strike!"
Terumi Mei and the Fourth Raikage joined in, intercepting the beasts.
"Hokage! Handle the masked man! We'll hold the tailed beasts!" Terumi Mei shouted.
"Thank you!" Minato replied, lunging toward Obito.
Obito watched him with an odd mix of irritation and emotion.
Is it resentment for not saving Rin… or something else?
Even he wasn't sure anymore.
Elsewhere on the battlefield, Madara smirked and began forming hand signs.
"Wood Style…"
The older ninja watching turned pale.
No way…!
"Deep Forest Emergence!!!"
The ground roared as a vast forest erupted from the earth, surging toward the Allied Shinobi like a tidal wave.
"Even Wood Style… he can use that?" Jiraiya was stunned.
Uchiha Madara's strength truly rivaled or even surpassed the First Hokage himself.
Hinata leapt forward, bringing her hands together. A spiraling hurricane formed between her palms.
"Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!!!"
The hurricane clashed against the endless forest, the impact ripping apart the entire battlefield.
After the collision, Hinata dropped to one knee, breathing hard.
"Onee-san!" Hanabi rushed to her side, supporting her.
"I-I'm fine, Hanabi…" Hinata forced a smile, though her chakra was nearly gone.
Madara's eyes gleamed with interest.
"Amazing power… an evolved Byakugan rivaling the Rinnegan. But she's inexperienced, her strength isn't fully realized yet."
