Chapter 21 - see me!

Title: "See Me"

(Verse 1)

On the screen, you're the voice in the silence,

A beacon in the city's midnight blue.

You chase the shadows, you fight for the broken,

Justice always finds its way through you.

But when the credits roll, and the lights go down,

The world outside keeps spinning 'round—

Some of us are whispering, afraid to make a sound,

What do we do when the law lets us down?

(Chorus)

So I'm asking for eyes,

For someone to see me,

For a voice that can rise

When the world won't believe me.

You've got a platform, you've got the stage,

But most of us are locked in a silent cage.

If the law is the problem,

Who do we turn to now?

I'm asking for help,

I'm asking you—

See me somehow.

(Verse 2)

TV justice moves in an hour,

But real life's tangled, slow, and hard.

You give hope to the hurting,

But the truth leaves scars.

We need more than a hero on a screen,

We need change where the pain's unseen.

If I could reach you, would you hear my plea?

Would you lend your strength, would you fight for me?

(Chorus)

So I'm asking for eyes,

For someone to see me,

For a voice that can rise

When the world won't believe me.

You've got a platform, you've got the stage,

But most of us are locked in a silent cage.

If the law is the problem,

Who do we turn to now?

I'm asking for help,

I'm asking you—

See me somehow.

(Bridge)

Not every story ends in justice,

Not every wound will heal with time.

But if you see me, if you hear me,

Maybe hope can still survive.

(Chorus/Outro)

So I'm asking for eyes,

For someone to see me,

For a voice that can rise

When the world won't believe me.

You've got a platform, you've got the stage,

But most of us are locked in a silent cage.

If the law is the problem,

Who do we turn to now?

I'm asking for help,

I'm asking you—

See me somehow.

See me now.

To everyone whose voice has been silenced by injustice:

You are not alone. Your pain, your truth, and your story matter—even when the world refuses to listen. The silence forced upon you is not a reflection of your worth, but of a system that needs to change. Even in the darkest moments, there is hope. There are people who care, who are fighting for justice, and who believe you deserve to be heard.

Hold on to your courage. Seek out allies, no matter how small the circle may seem. Your resilience is powerful, and your existence is an act of defiance against those who would keep you quiet. Change may be slow, but every voice that rises, every story that is shared, brings us closer to a world where justice is real and every person is seen.

You are seen. You are valued. And even if your voice shakes, it still has the power to move mountains.

Keep going. You matter.
