Chapter 6 - Chapter 3.5 - Burglar

Meanwhile in Las Vegas

"Authorities are investigating a sophisticated burglary at Central Trust Bank, where a substantial sum of money was stolen without triggering any alarms. The crime, discovered early this morning, was executed overnight with the burglar bypassing state-of-the-art security, including motion detectors, cameras, and a reinforced vault.

Detectives believe the suspect accessed the building through an unmonitored service entrance and disabled key security features. "This wasn't the work of an amateur," said Detective Janet Collins, noting the precise knowledge the thief appeared to have about the bank's layout and systems. The vault showed no visible signs of forced entry, raising suspicions of advanced tools or insider knowledge.

Surveillance footage from nearby businesses is under review, and authorities are urging the public to report any suspicious activity in the area. While the exact amount stolen remains undisclosed, officials have described it as "substantial."

Bank officials assured customers their accounts are secure, but the heist has sparked concerns over the vulnerability of financial institutions. The investigation is ongoing, with no suspects identified yet.

This daring robbery has left the city of Las Vegas on edge, as detectives work to uncover how such a methodical crime was carried out—and who was behind it.

This was John Doe from NBC News. Stay tuned for more details"

You know when they say someone's good at what they do? Well that's me. Robbing banks is my life. I live for the thrill of it. It's fun to see the shocked looks on people's faces when they find out that their account was compromised. You might think I'm crazy for thinking that, and you would be right.

I've lived my life running from people, running from my past, and I am done. Which is why I started doing things that catch others' attention. Even if it's such a thing as a petty theft. To answer your question, yes I have robbed the poor before, and to be honest... I don't hold any remorse whatsoever. When you need money to survive, you will do anything in your power to live and survive.

I've always been the best of the best in the department of theft, and it got to the point where some people would hire me to rob certain enemies of theirs, just so they wouldn't have to do it themselves and get caught. It has always been quite funny, watching people's reactions to being robbed of the things they hold dearest, but in the end, I am doing whatever I can to survive. To prepare in order to face my past.

I am determined to never, and I mean never, get caught. I calculate every possible outcome, which is why I am always successful when it comes to my line of work.

Me. A Thief. Determined and Calculated.

Everyone calls me the Midnight Hawk. Because unless you constantly watch your back, I will come to bite you and teach you a lesson.
