Chapter 19 - 19

Under the bright and soft light, the tall and straight man walked in slowly with an elegant and leisurely step.

He was wearing a dark home suit, but still gave people an unattainable noble aura.

Beside him, Abigail couldn't help but let out a faint exclamation.

Emily's eyes were like water. When she saw the man's handsome face, she slightly curled her lips. It was indeed him!

Christopher and Mrs. Christopher quickly stood up and looked at Joseph with a smile on their faces. They had already prepared what to say when they met, but at this moment, when they saw the true face of this young master, they suddenly stuttered nervously.

 "Joseph"

"Sit down, don't be so polite!" Joseph had a faint smile on his face, glanced at Emily, who was not surprised at all, and there was no extra emotion in her beautiful eyes, and then said to Christopher and Mrs. Christopher gently.

"Thank you, young master!" After Christopher sat down, he felt particularly uncomfortable.

Although he had long felt that the person who could own such a luxurious manor was not an ordinary person, he never expected that it would be the richest man in the country, Joseph, who was extremely powerful.

Christopher had also seen the world, but being in the same room and sitting at the same table with such a rich man still gave him inexplicable psychological pressure.

In comparison, although he was also considered a rich man before, he was far from being a super rich man like Joseph.

"These two are your daughters!" Joseph's voice was magnetic and low, and no emotion could be heard, but it still made people feel a sense of distance.

Christopher smiled and nodded: "Yes, these are my two daughters. The eldest daughter is called Abigail, and the youngest daughter..." Speaking of this, Christopher suddenly paused, and his eyes looking at Emily also sank slightly.

 "Little girl, Emily!"

After listening to Christopher's introduction, Joseph did not look at Emily on purpose. Instead, his deep eyes lingered on Abigail's face for a few more seconds.

Just these few seconds immediately made Abigail's heart blossom, and she felt honored to be treated uniquely by the most amazing man in the world.

She smiled gently with her lips pursed, and responded to Joseph's gaze with a gentle look.

Emily, who was as calm as water, saw this interaction between the two.

Although she had only known Joseph for a few days, Emily felt that this man was very dark. You could not see his thoughts and intentions from the surface.

Not only Emily noticed this, but also Christopher and Mrs. Christopher. They immediately thought, could it be that Joseph fell in love with Abigail?

Otherwise, how could such a great rich man suddenly agree to let them live in? If it was just because Daniel was a relative of theirs, it seemed too far-fetched.

Emily lowered her eyes calmly, picked up the chopsticks and started eating.

Across from her, Christopher coughed lightly, and when Emily subconsciously raised her head, he glared at her fiercely.

That look seemed to warn her to be gentle and polite.

Emily pretended not to understand, continued to pick up the dishes, and ate leisurely.

Fortunately, Joseph didn't seem to care about these details. After the meal, he didn't say a word to Emily, and his eyes didn't stay on her again.

After the meal, they were invited to the living room for tea and dessert.

Joseph didn't accompany them, but went back to the study on the second floor.

Emily felt bored, and after saying goodbye to Daniel, she was ready to leave.

Christopher and Mrs. Christopher wished Emily would leave earlier and not stay here to get in the way.

The three of them had been sitting in the living room, waiting for Joseph to come downstairs to see them again, but Joseph did not come down until very late.

And Emily, just after coming out of the main living room of the main house, was called back by Daniel.

This time, she went through the door of the side hall and took the sightseeing elevator directly to the second floor with Daniel.

Daniel took her to the young master's room and said respectfully: "Emily. The young master said that you will live here from now on!"

Emily raised her eyebrows and did not say anything, but just found a place to sit down and waited leisurely.

When Joseph came in, it was already half an hour later.

Seeing him finally come in, Emily pulled out a faint smile and said: "Young Master Qiao is so fast!"

"Huh?" Joseph naturally understood what she meant by this, but did not say it out loud.

He looked at her deeply, his sexy lips slightly hooked.

"Joseph, from the beginning, you appeared in the presidential suite of the hotel, and then we moved to your manor. Why do I feel that all this happened too quickly. It's like you planned it all." Emily smiled lightly at the handsome and noble man in front of her.

"You said, I finally found you, so I naturally have to cherish time and bring you back as soon as possible." Joseph stared at Emily deeply, and the smile on his lips deepened a little.

Emily frowned slightly and said calmly: "We have already obtained the marriage certificate. Do you still think I am the Emma you are talking about?"

"Of course!" Joseph's expression was very firm, and he didn't seem to think that the name on the certificate could represent anything at all.

Emily was a little speechless. Seeing Joseph's persistence, she said, "Assistant Mo has carefully read my ID card and household registration book. My name is Emily. I am not the Emma you mentioned. I don't know her and I have never known Emma."

Joseph raised his thick eyebrows and suddenly leaned in front of Emily. He said slowly in a gentle and magnetic voice, "If I say you are, you are!"
