The shocking moment had arrived. Both the military and federal law enforcement agents were fully armed and ready to move in.

Reporter stood before the camera, reporting live.

"In the sky, fighter jets gleam like silver eagles, poised to strike Hell's Kitchen at any moment."

Ellie's voice echoed through the night with heart-pounding excitement.

"Now, let's enter this thrilling countdown together with our friends here and the viewers at home."

Her voice rang clear and steady like a bell.

"3…"

"2…"

"1…"

"Time's up!" Ellie shouted, and for a moment, the entire scene seemed frozen in time.

Then, amid the crowd's roar, fighter jets and tanks unleashed a volley of missiles toward Hell's Kitchen.

The missiles tore across the night sky, trailing bright streaks like fireworks.

The audience held their breath, expecting a spectacular explosion to mark the assault.

But in the next instant, something shocking happened.

The missiles suddenly halted midair, as if gripped by an invisible force.

"What's going on? Why did the missiles stop? Am I seeing things?" a spectator asked in disbelief.

"No, you're not imagining it—the missiles really did freeze in midair," another confirmed.

"This must be the work of some dark power! Hell's Kitchen really is a place of evil!" panic spread among some onlookers.

Knowing this was Alex Ray's handiwork, Nick Fury—referred to here by his codename ""—commented cryptically, "It seems the true master has arrived. Everything is unfolding as planned."

Sure enough, moments later, a figure leisurely descended from the night sky, landing calmly in the street.

It was Alex Ray, hands casually in his pockets, a composed smile playing on his lips.

This was the outer edge of Hell's Kitchen. Crossing this street meant leaving the district behind. Opposite Alex stood federal soldiers, tense and on high alert.

At this moment, the scene felt like the boundary between two warring kingdoms. Once either side crossed, open conflict would begin.

Alex smiled and said, "Welcome to Hell's Kitchen, everyone. I didn't expect such a lively day here today."

"But I don't much care for crowds. If possible, please leave now. That way, I can pretend none of this ever happened."

His words were broadcast live to the millions watching.

"Is this the so-called Lord of Hell? He looks so ordinary."

"This guy is full of himself. Who does he think he is?"

"Hurry up and take down this pretentious criminal!"

At that moment, the soldiers received orders from their commanders. Without hesitation, they raised their weapons, targeting Hell's Kitchen.

Artillery shells roared from every direction like angry dragons spewing fire.

Behind this orchestrated assault was Nick Fury's meticulous planning.

He glared coldly at Alex Ray's image on the screen, sneering, "Alex Ray, even if you can stop a few missiles, you're only one man. Hell's Kitchen is vast—do you really think you can protect the entire district?"

But Alex seemed to see right through it.

He murmured, "Do you really think I came unprepared?"

Then, with commanding authority, he declared, "This is Hell's Kitchen. This is my territory!"

Though his voice was calm, it thundered in everyone's ears.

Immediately, Alex activated his signature ability—Impregnable.

A brilliant golden light erupted from the Good Fortune Restaurant, instantly engulfing all of Hell's Kitchen.

A golden protective barrier rose, like an indestructible fortress, sealing Hell's Kitchen off from the outside world.

The incoming missiles struck the shield, only to explode on its surface, their fiery blasts unable to breach the barrier.

The shield remained flawless, protecting every inch of Hell's Kitchen.

At this moment, the district seemed divided by an invisible boundary.

On one side, a battlefield raged with gunfire and smoke; on the other, a peaceful sanctuary remained untouched.

That boundary was exactly the impregnable shield Alex had erected.

His actions stunned everyone watching.

Seeing Alex face countless artillery shells yet remain unshaken,

Countless viewers felt a mix of horror and awe, denouncing the federal government's failure.

"Is this... the Lord of Hell?"

"How can we possibly fight this? We might as well surrender."

"The Lord of Hell is handsome, and the people living in Hell's Kitchen seem so happy."

Some wealthy onlookers, witnessing this spectacle, thought, "If I survive this attack, I need to get closer to the Lord of Hell."

Businessmen naturally chase profit. They recognized Alex's potential in this moment. If Alex could withstand the federal government's assault,

Hell's Kitchen would no longer fear threats from any earthly force. With Alex protecting the district,

Anyone doing business or opening a shop there would find the best possible shelter.

"If war comes, Hell's Kitchen might be the safest place. The federal government are just ungrateful fools," these businessmen mused.

Nick Fury watched the unfolding scene grimly, unease flickering in his eyes.

He hadn't expected Alex's abilities to be this powerful.

To actually shield all of Hell's Kitchen.

"But I have other plans," Nick Fury sneered, a cunning glint appearing.

He pressed his communicator, his voice low and commanding.

"Carol Danvers, it's time to take the stage."

Almost immediately, Captain Marvel Carol Danvers launched herself toward Alex Ray. Despite the barrier, she was fearless—nothing in this world, in her eyes, could withstand her power.

As expected, the shield didn't stop Carol at all.

Seeing this, Alex flashed upward, quickly flying into the sky to avoid her.

He glanced back at Carol chasing him relentlessly, a mocking smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"Carol, sneak attacks are a bad habit."

"Enough talk! You die here today!" Carol shouted, her determination unwavering.

Alex didn't want Hell's Kitchen to suffer because of their fight, so he chose to take the battle into the sky.

Carol pursued him closely, the two streaking across the sky, leaving dazzling energy trails behind them.

Watching Alex depart,

"Quick, have you analyzed the shield's properties? Can our agents enter?" Fury asked urgently.

"Yes, sir. As long as they avoid heavy weapons, standard rifles and machine guns can pass through," an agent reported.

Alex had designed the shield to block large-scale destruction—artillery and tanks were barred. He hadn't closed it off entirely because doing so would cost friend points he wasn't willing to spend.

"Notify all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to enter Hell's Kitchen immediately. Leave no one behind," Fury ordered.

"Yes, sir."

Nick Fury smirked, a hint of arrogance in his voice. "Without you, Hell's Kitchen is vulnerable."
