Chapter 469: Analyze Atom Eve! Successful!

"Don't misunderstand, I'm just interested in her ability."

However, Xia Shang's words clearly weren't convincing to Immortality. He continued with a chuckle, "Chasing a girl requires some patience, especially for a young, beautiful, and spirited girl like Eve."

Hearing this, Xia Shang shook his head helplessly. Why does no one believe the truth these days?

"I won't chat with you anymore, I still have something to do. I'll be going now."

Saying that, he used teleportation, became invisible in the air, and then chased after Eve in the direction she was flying, using superspeed.

He planned to take some time to analyze all of Eve's abilities and then determine if the abilities had value for fusion. If her atomic control was just a weakened version or had too many restrictions, then there would be no need for fusion at all.

"Where's Mr. Jervis? I originally wanted to say hello to him." Red Rush, who had finished transporting civilians, suddenly appeared beside Immortality, his tone slightly regretful.

"He said he had something to handle and already left." Immortality's gaze fell upon the ground full of alien Soldier corpses, and he said with a smile, "With him around, we'll have it much easier in the future. I have to say, Director Cecil's decision was very correct."

"Who says otherwise? He feels as reliable as Omni-Man."

Red Rush didn't even need to act this time; the combat was over. It could be called the easiest operation.

"Our mission is complete. It's time to withdraw."

Cleaning up the Battlefield isn't the Global Guardians' responsibility. Cecil will dispatch the most professional people to handle it.

After Immortality and the others had all left, Cecil, wearing a suit, suddenly appeared beside Robot, accompanied by a white light.

After turning off the teleportation device on his wrist, he looked at Robot and said commendably, "You did well this time and cooperated very well with the Guardians."

"Thank you. Assisting the Global Defense Agency is our honor." Robot's voice was different from a machine head; it wasn't electronic but a calm mechanical sound.

"Hopefully, the death toll will be lower." Cecil asked, hands in his pockets, "How is the progress on the research regarding Omni-Man's and Mr. Jervis's blood?"

Robot shook his head while walking beside Cecil. "No progress at all. The main issue is that the collected blood samples are too few, especially Mr. Jervis's. His blood is very strange; it seems to lose activity very quickly once it leaves his body, just like dust on the Street. We can't collect any useful DNA at all."

"I suspect he might not be a true human, but similar to Omni-Man, a being from another planet in Outer Space."

After hearing Robot's report, Cecil was silent for a moment, then said in a low voice, "In that case, let's put the research on Mr. Jervis's blood aside for now. What's the origin of the guys who launched this sudden attack?"

"Hmm, I reverse-analyzed their language through recordings. They call themselves Flaxans."

"Do you know why they suddenly left? And their corpses turned into something like dried cucumbers." Cecil continued to ask.

"I have six possible explanations."

Robot walked over to a corpse, then bent down and picked up the firearm in the corpse's hand. "But now the possibilities have narrowed down to one."

"Look, traces of corrosion quickly appeared on their weapons, visible oxidation and rust to the naked eye, and this kind of alloy should have a long lifespan." Robot watched as the silver-white firearm gradually became covered in rust.

"You mean time passes faster in their place?" Cecil said thoughtfully.

"Exactly. I speculate that they didn't suddenly run away because they were repelled, but because they couldn't adapt to the time difference on Earth. It's very likely that one minute on Earth is several years for them.

It's also because of this that they suddenly aged and grew old, nearing death." Robot calmly analyzed, dropping the rust-covered firearm.

"This is good news." Cecil turned his head to look at where the alien teleportation portal first appeared, the corner of his mouth with the scar lifting. "If they dare to come back, all I need to do is evacuate the attacked area and then just wait for them to get cancer and die on their own."

"Good idea, highly feasible."

While the two were talking, Xia Shang had silently arrived behind Eve and quietly activated the analyze function.

What surprised him was that the time required for analysis was almost the same as for Omni-Man.

However, this was good news for him. At least it indicated that Eve's ability was very strong, or she possessed extremely high potential.

Following her into a School, to Xia Shang's surprise, Eve was still just a high school student.

Just like that, he, invisible, leaned against the Wall at the back of the Classroom, silently waiting for the analysis to finish.

However, during this process, Eve frequently turned her head, as if sensing something. In reality, however, she saw nothing.

This led Eve to suspect that perhaps her superpower usage had been too frequent lately, causing her mental focus to weaken slightly.

"No, it feels like someone is watching me." This feeling had persisted since she was on her way back to School; it didn't feel like an illusion.

"Ahem! Eve, are you feeling unwell?" The Teacher standing in front of the blackboard coughed after seeing Eve looking around, and asked.

"Sorry, I need to go to the restroom."

Eve stood up and walked towards the door.

"Good perception ability. Her sixth sense must be far beyond ordinary humans." Xia Shang followed her. Unless the other party had some special ability, it would be difficult to see through his invisibility.

Arriving in the Corridor, Eve touched the Wall, instantly turning the surface she touched into a puddle of ink, which she then splashed behind her.

"Trying to find me while invisible this way." Facing the ink splashing like raindrops, Xia Shang smiled slightly and flashed in front of Eve.

"No one?"

Seeing the ink naturally fall onto the ground, the Wall, and the Ceiling, a hint of surprise flashed in Eve's eyes. Was it really just an illusion?

"It seems I definitely didn't rest well last night."

After Eve finished speaking, she prepared to return to the Classroom.

But just then, without any warning, she repeated her trick, controlling the ink to fly forward.

"A little trick, still too young." Xia Shang, who possessed X-ray vision, immediately saw Eve's heart rate significantly increasing, so he teleported again in advance, changing his position.

"Really no one?"

Finally, Eve could only return to the Classroom with a doubtful attitude.

Just like that, the strange feeling continued until class ended before suddenly disappearing.

At this moment, above the School, Xia Shang looked at the Panel prompt before him and revealed a faint smile.
