The Strongest Transcendent In History Is The Strongest
Chapter 16: The Climax
The tension between Hiruinonai and me was palpable as I noticed the grin spreading across his face. "Hmm?" he mused, his expression a mix of amusement and challenge.
Maintaining my composure, I replied, my voice steady and unyielding, "Let's take this fight somewhere else. We don't need to ruin this place." The air crackled with the energy of our confrontation, but I remained resolute.
Hiruinonai, with an arch of his brow, responded, "Why should I listen to you?" His tone was calm, almost dismissive, as if he were sizing me up, weighing the scales of authority in this fierce contest.
Without flinching, I clarified, "I wasn't asking; that was an order." Acting accordingly, I seized his arm with a swift motion and, with a surprising amount of force, sent him hurtling towards the vastness of space.
Hiruinonais shocked expression painting his face in disbelief. "When did he—?" he questioned, realizing suddenly, "Oh, I see now; you're just that fast!" After regaining his balance, he propelled himself into the cosmos, propelled by the very gravity I had disrupted.
"That's correct," I said nonchalantly, a hint oof indifference lacing my voice. "Now we can both fight freely, without any constraints. Come at me!" I taunted playfully, eager for the clash that was about to unfold.
"Hiruinonai charged straight at me, determination blazing in his eyes..." A fierce glint in his eyes as he launched a spinning roundhouse kick aimed at my head.
"Is that all you've got?" I replied, my tone casual as I effortlessly blocked the strike. With a swift counter-move, I seized his arms, twisting them around in a fluid motion, and executed a sharp twisting kick that landed squarely on his back.
The impact sent Hiruinonai hurtling through the cosmic expanse, sending him crashing through the orbits of sseveral plannets. Badly wounded, he turned to face me mid-flight, his voice steady even as he grappled with the momentum. "Not even close," he stated coolly before barreling back toward me, his fist coiling as he aimed a punch directly at my gut.
"Not bad," I remarked casually, although the truth was that I stood firm against the blow, completely unaffected. Even as the force of his attack sent me moving backwards, as i start to bent the very fabric of space beneath my feet, shaping it into solid footing.
Hiruinonai, undeterred by my resilience, said evenly as he approached, "Take this!" He rushed me once again, unleashing a furious barrage of palm strikes aimed at my torso.
I absorbed each punch with ease, my confidence unwavering. "I thought I had already made it clear—it's over for you," I quipped, effortlessly sliding my hand to the side as I initiated my counter-offensive. Suddenly, a rain of meteors began to cascade down from outer space, hurtling toward him like celestial harbingers of doom.
Hiruinonai eyes widened with incredulity. "Impossible!" he shouted, but it was too late. The meteors struck with apocalyptic force, obliterating everything in their path. Hiruinonai's defiant shout was drowned in the roar of cosmic destruction. When the dust settled, all that remained was a crater so deep, it seemed to tear into the fabric of reality itself. I hovered above it, watching. I should've felt triumphant. "I should've looked pitiful… broken. But I felt nothing. Not rage, not pity. Just silence."
