Chapter 14 - THE FINAL GATE

Standing at the edge of the Heavenfall Abyss, where souls crossed into the afterlife, Rahul prepared for the final ritual.

He carried Aria's pendant, now infused with her lingering spirit energy. Channeling every once of cultivation, he activated the Reversal Mandala, an ancient circle that could transfer life for life.

Ghostly winds howled. His skin cracked. His soul burned. He smiled. "Let her live". And with that, he stepped into the abyss. A surge of light exploded across the sky. Some say they saw a girl with silver hair awaken near the Tree of Eternity. Others say a star fell that day.

No one saw Rahul again.

The world mourned the hero they could not bury. Temples were raised in Rahul's name. The Azure Sky Academy enshrined his sword, Starlight Fang, as an eternal flame-burning without fuel, reacting only to the worthy.

Aria, reborn and unware of her past wandered through life as a songstress. She sang melodies she didn't remember learning, her heart aching when the stars fell. Her dreams were filled with a boy who smiled in sorrow and vanished in light.

Legends whispered that Rahul had become a star- a guardian of fate, watching silently from the heavens.

In a realm beyond death, Rahul drifted trough astral mists. He no longer felt pain, nor time-only a pull. He met ancient souls, beings who transcended mortality. They called him Twilight Warden, a protector between worlds.

He watched over Aria and the world the once walked. He intervened only once-when a dark force threatened to rise again from the remnants of the Abyss Monarch.

His whisper guided a young orphan to find the buried Starlight Fang.

A new legacy had begun.
