Much as Aylin appreciated the cushioning effect of the vines, she loved the structure provided by her ice wall so much more. Especially after she had made Caius jerk against her body so hard and enough times to strike her against it.
But of course, Ice she had conjured herself couldn't cause her to bruise and didn't chill her to the point of causing her to crave warmth and would otherwise freeze without it. Ice and the chill it came with were as comfortable to her as anything could be.
Fortunately, she could still feel and appreciate the existence of something hard against her back even if getting slammed against it over and over didn't cause her any real pain.
So essentially, it offered all the perks and none of the drawbacks.
There was another benefit to the Ice that Aylin hadn't factored into things when she conjured the wall;
It was slippery.
