After getting out of Oliver's house shin and hiro were walking towards hiro's house , the shin spoke " why is everyone looking at us , is it because I am not asur".
To his question hiro replied" it is one of the reason ". Shin asked " so are the other reasons".
Then pointing toward his cloth hiro said " the other reasons is your clothing and your face". Touching his face shin said " what is wrong with my face ".
" there is nothing wrong with your face , it is that your face is very handsome "
" Ohh really, is my face that attractive " shin said in a playful tone .
" Don get to excited , in this world power matters not looks , and after reaching higher ranks your body can change , even an ulgy person can become handsome ".
" I know , I know strength is the only thar matters "
After some time they reached , Hiro's house , it was a little hut , not in very good condition, but it was enough for hiro to live in.
Hiro and Shin entered his house, , inside it was messy all over , because a guy was living in it , there was bathroom and , a kitchen and one room in his house .
Shin sat on chair and asked " do you know what rank is your chief "
" Nobody knows which rank he is , most of the adults are rank 3 - 4 , while some elders have reached 5th rank , some believe that chief is peak rank 5 , but nobody knows which rank he actually is ".
" What is diffrence between peak rank and normal rank "
" Ranks are also divided between basic , intermediate, advance and peak , according to the rate of their core saturation ".
" Hey when do you sleep , and how do you know what time it is ".
" The day is divided in 24 hours , if you have looked at crimson moon properly , then by time it slowly dims and slow shine once again , at 12 noon it is brightest , and it start to dimming after six in evening , and it dims till 12 of midnight , and stays 6 of morning midnight , after that it start to brightening agan , and it brighten tills 12 of noon, and this cycle repeats every day ".
" It is very hard to understand time of this world " hiro said with a sigh .
" So how does day and night work in you world " hiro asked , shin then explained him about , day and night cycle , moths , weeks and years of his old world .
" So at day the sun shines and at night moon glows and your world revolves around this sun and moon revolves around you world " Hiro very surprised by what shin told him , in his eyes that world was a fairytale , there were no dangers there everything seemed peaceful. It was just like how this world was described according to some tales. Only diffrence was that even according to these tales this world was filled with monsters .
After Shin and Hiro finished talking about his previous world, shin went to bathroom to clean his body , after bathing shin looked at himself in mirror, his hairs were deep black medium size, red eyes and s face comparable to most handsome man , there were no scars left in his body all of them healed, this body was very diffrent from his previous body , he could not even remember his previous self he only felt that this was not his previous body , in that darkness he forgot almost everything , only some details he even forgot his last name , so naturally he was not lying when he said he lost his memory.
Looking at himself shin thought that was it right to tell Hiro about everything, " i strangely get along with him very easily ", there was feeling of trust when he looked at hiro .
" This world is intresting " thinking this Shin got out of bathroom and wore proper clothes that Hiro had given him, and came to room where Hiro was sitting with some food .
" Here eat this soup, it is made up of rabit meet " hiro gave him a bowl of soup . After eating hiro prepard bed for him to sleep , while shin was meditating trying to feel mana in sorroundings, after but of time shin was able to sense mana around him , he tried to absorb some mans but failed in his first try, he was about to try again .
Then Hiro's voice interrupted him , " it is getting late you should sleep" .
Hearing his voice shin stopped trying to absorb mana and went to sleep.
After shin went to sleep , he found himself on a very vast grassy land, a blue sky , he was sitting on a hill , looking down at river that was flowing below the hill , there was deep silence and peace , shin was just blankly looking ahead , the world was still , then shin stood up , and cracks started forming in the sky , the clear sky was now covered in countless dark clouds , the silent world was now filled with sound of thunder, then all of this came to an end as his dream ended .
" Hey wake up , it is morning " , shin heard a voice calling him to wake up , he opened his eyes and saw that it was Hiro, he sat in his place and after some time went to wash his face .
After washing his face shin came to front room , and saw Hiro there , in his hand was a cup filled with strange red liquid he asked him " what is this " .
" It is a morning beverage, it is called blood tea "
He gave a bowl to shin and poured blood tea in it . Shin was looking at the blood like looking tea in front of him , he took a sip of it , and for a moment he felt as if all of the load from his mind went away , his mind felt little clear . And he said to hiro " hey this tea is very good ".
" Well it is a luxurious thing , I can't afford it usually, but chief gifted it me when I won academy tournament last year , I don't really drink it , only once a month , but you are a guest here so I made it for you".
" you didn't have to make it , since I am also going to live here how can I be guest , I am now your roommate " shin replied.
Hiro did not say anything and both of them continued to drink the tea , after they finished drinking tea hiro stood up and said " academy will have been opened , so let's go".
Shin also stood up and followed hiro saying " okay ,lead the way ".
Shin and Hiro were going to academy, ignoring all the gazes that came their way , hiro was telling him about his academy life , and shin was listening to him .
" So you don't have any friends in academy"shin said
" I don't have time to make friends, i either train all day or do some jobs to earn money and when I have some time I go outside , and I don't even like their attitudes, most of them don't like me , and avoid me ".
" Why do they avoid you " shin asked
" Once I got in fight with a rich young masters of rich families , it was chief who saved me , then everyone started avoiding me to stay in good graces of these young masters " Hiro said with little anger on his face.
" Who are these young master"
