Aiden shifted Leona higher in his arms, the little dragon girl clinging to him like she owned his entire torso. Fluffynugget sat on his right shoulder.
Ivy was glued to his waist, hugging him so tightly her cheek was pressed to his ribs.
"Daddy, don't move," Leona demanded.
"I'm literally not moving," Aiden said, amused.
Ivy squeezed him. "Onii-chan feels warm…"
"That's because you're crushing my stomach, Ivy."
"I like crushing your stomach."
"Of course you do."
Right beside them, Edda was holding Liri, who had her arms looped around her mother's neck like a koala. Liri watched Aiden with her usual sharp stare.
"Mamma's face is red again," Liri announced.
"Liri—please—" Edda sputtered.
Aiden smirked. "Let her talk. She's just being honest."
Edda avoided his eyes instantly. "Y-Young Heart… behave…"
"I am behaving." He reached out and tugged her by the waist with one hand—effortless, like he'd done it a thousand times. "You're the one shaking like I'm about to steal you."
