Aiden watched the group disappear deeper into the mansion, Luna still glued to him like an adorable, clingy, possessive parasite.
Her legs wrapped around his hips, tail curled tight around his waist, arms around his neck like she was claiming territory.
He chuckled.
"Still not letting go?"
"Nope." Her voice was soft, stubborn. "I waited all day. I'm not giving up now."
He kissed her cheek. "You make it sound dramatic."
"It is dramatic," she mumbled into his neck. "Master disappeared for hours. I almost died."
Aiden smirked. "Tragic. Should I write a funeral speech?"
"Yes. And then kiss me afterward."
He snorted. "You're ridiculous."
"And you're stuck with me."
Aiden raised a brow. "Bold."
She finally looked up at him, ears perked high, eyes glowing with devotion that could probably start a cult.
"...Master," she whispered, "kiss me."
He tilted his head slightly. "Bossy today, huh?"
She nudged his nose with hers.
