(No POV)
The next day in the training room, Lincoln was doing repeated swings with a wooden sword made from
Ironwood as his body was dripping with sweat. The sword was heavy but Lincoln grew use to it.
"Hmm, I'll be visiting the ghouls today" Lincoln thought as he continued to swing the practice sword. "It would
be rude to show up without a gi ft , maybe I should bring a cake?"
After continuously swinging the sword for another hour, Lincoln decided to wash up and get ready.
~an hour later at Grimwood's school~
At Miss Grimwood's school the ghouls have just finished with their last class for the day as they wait in
anticipation for Lincoln.
"Oh i'm glad that classes are finally over" Winnie said as she looks out the window, hoping to see Lincoln as her
tail wags showing her excitement.
"I know" Phanty said as she flouted through the air "Classes always seem to go slower when you want them
over faster." As the others agreed
"Well what's got you all so excited" a voice from behind them said.
The ghouls turned their heads to see one of their friends Tsuki the daughter of Godzilla, she is a white
colored dinosaur-like kaiju with black spines on her back, She wears a red bow on her head and a pink tutu. she
might be small since she's young for a kaiju but she's tall enough that her head touches the ceiling.
Next to her was a girls the same age as Elsa and Phanty, she is a slim light green colored sea monster with curly
blond hair with a mixture of light azure and seaweed green streaks in it, she wears a lime green dress with scale
designs. Her name is Gila the daughter of the creature.
Beside her, not even paying attention was a pink alien with green antenna eyes. She wears a magenta colored
space helmet, a blue dress, purple shoes, green gloves and a green collar. She wasn't a monster but an alien,
a martian to be precise named M1-2ly, but they decided to nickname her Milly.
"Oh hey ghouls" Phanty greeted as she right flout over to them. "What you three doing?"
"Nothing at the moment" Tsuki replied "But you still didn't answer my question, what's got you all so excited?"
"Well a new friend of ours said he'll visit today" Elsa answered as that catches the three ghouls attention.
"He?, It's a boy?" Gila asked
"Ya and surprisingly he's a year older then Winnie but looks like Sibella's age" Phanty said "He's also the one
that made those small cakes that we brought back."
"First off those are called macarons" Tsuki corrected the ghost girl "Second if those were made by him then I've
got to get the recipe, those were so good." Tsuki said as she drooled a little as she remembered when she tried
them.
"Hmmph" The little alien didn't like all the commotion that was happening and decided to go to her room to
continue on her latest invention, she may get along with Tanis and see her as a friend, but she refuses to be
around incompetent, simple minded creatures and earth was full of them.
"Girls I see him walking up to the gate" Winnie exclaimed, her tail wagging even faster as the others looked
excited that he really did came. "Miss Grimwood out there as well and he's carrying a large box"
~Outside a few moments ago~
Lincoln emerges from the shadow of a bundle of trees, carrying a large pastry box with a special cake that he's
made.
Walking the short distance where he emerged from Lincoln find himself in front of the gate that leads to the
school, As he makes an attempt to open it however he stops himself from touching the gate, as the air around
the gate-no the land that surrounds the school seems to pulse with a warning to keep out.
Unknown to him, Miss Grimwood who was on her way to let him in saw the whole thing and was in deep
thought.
"Hmm, Thats strange" Miss Grimwood thought watching with great interest "Ordinarily, anyone would still just
try to open the gate, but it appears that Mr. Loud was able to somehow sense the protective enchantments that
I've placed in and around the School.
"Why hello there Mr. Loud" Miss Grimwood greeted "I'm happy to see that you've kept your word and was able
to come visit." Miss Grimwood was really happy to see him again as the only time they get visitors is on
halloween when the girls parents get to come over, They also need more positive interactions with boys and
Lincoln seems like the perfect candidate.
"It's my pleasure Miss Grimmwood" Lincoln said " and please call me Lincoln, Mr. Loud is my father." Lincoln
added jokingly as Miss Grimwood chuckled a little at it.
She then held out her hand and began to softly mutter a few chants as a faint glow emanated from Lincoln
before it vanished, Now Lincoln can feel that the warning that he was getting from the school stopped.
"Whoa" Lincoln exclaimed in surprise "What was that"
Miss Grimwood smiled at the look of wonder that was on the young man's face "Well as you know, I am currently
teaching some of the children to many well known monsters and there was an incident last year that required
me to up security." She explained "I have given you a type of visitors pass that protects you from the
enchantments that I have in place."
Lincoln nodded as that makes sense to have that level of security for a school like this and in the short time he
had known Miss Grimwood, Lincoln can tell that her students are her top priority. Though he does wonder what
this 'Incident' that happened but decided to leave it at that.
"Oh I've also brought this for everyone" Lincoln said as he remembers the cake he made for them "I hope that
was alright"
"It's perfectly fine, we all loved the sweets you made last time and one of my students as well as our school chef
would love the recipe." Miss Grimwood informed him as she lead him inside.
On their way Lincoln eyes seemed to wander, but unlike most people who would be scared or nervous, he was
curious and excited by what he saw. Miss Grimwood has asked about Lincoln's grandfather and Lincoln shared
some of the stories that happen during his last visit.
"Ha ha ha" Miss Grimwood laughed when Lincoln explained on how he had to chase down Pop-Pop through the
town. "That does sound like Albert, Once he gets in the mood for adventure their's almost no stopping him"
"Yep But I'm just glad that we were able to get away with it before the head nurse named Sue could try
anything" Lincoln said as he remembered that she tried to kick his Grandfather out the retirement home but the
other senior citizen were able to stop her.
"I'm glad too" Miss Grimwood said with a small frown at the thought of how her old friend was treated but was
able to smile again when she heard that everything was ok, "I remember your grandfather saying one night that
we would in his exact words 'Never see him in one of those old fossils homes'" Miss Grimwood says as Lincoln
starts to laugh himself.
Miss Grimwood led him into the house as the big door opened by itself.
Or so it seems as Lincoln caught sight of a floating hand, who closed the door behind them.
"Whoa" Lincoln exclaimed in shock as he stared at the floating appendage as Miss Grimwood chuckled at his
expression.
"Lincoln, This my handy helped, Hans Hand" She introduced as Hans goes for a hand shake(or body shake) that
Lincoln accepted. a4
"It's nice to meet you Hans" Lincoln said as he released Hans from the shake.
Hans makes some strange gestures and movements the Lincoln couldn't understand but Miss Grimwood seems
to know what he's saying as she nods her head.
"I know Hans, it is a nice change of pace" Miss Grimwood said
"What did he say?" Lincoln asked wondering what Hans was saying
"He said that it's nice to meet a someone that won't run or pass-out at the sight of him" Miss Grimwood
informed him as Hans pointed a finger at her as if saying 'She's right', before he floated away.
Miss Grimwood started to lead Lincoln to the common room where the Ghouls await his arrival, but she couldn't
help but feel like she's forgetting something
"What could I be forgetting?" Miss Grimwood wondered.
~With the Ghouls~
The Ghouls that meet Lincoln are excited to see him again, For Tsuki and Gila they wonder what type of person
he is.
"I can hear their foot steps their coming this way" Winnie said in excitement.
"Geez I've never seen you ghouls this excited before" Tsuki said as she looked at them
"Tsuki is right, he must be someone special" Gila agreed before she wondered out loud "I wonder what type of
monster is he."
And with that the Ghouls who meet Lincoln all froze and gone pale as they looked at Gila, They suddenly
remembered something very important, they shared a quick look at each other.
"Gila I think it's best if you go to your room for now" Sibella said as Gila became confused, but soon found
herself being pushed by Elsa.
"Huh what? why?" Gila asked confused
"No time to explain, I just hope it's not to lat-" As Elsa opened the door with Gila in front of her, only to have Gila
face to face with Lincoln.
Gila's eyes seem to focus of the person in front of her.
Looking at his Pure white hair, his health colored smooth skin, his normal sparkling white teeth only to stop and
stare into his deep blue eyes.
she did the first thing that came to her mind
She screamed
"AHHHHHH" Gila screamed as she ran back to her friends and dove under the coffee table as she looked at him
as if the embodiment of death itself has came for her.
"So that's what I forgot" Miss Grimwood thought as she and the ghouls forgot her biggest fear.
"Gila it's ok" Phanty tried to reassure the poor girl "He's a friend, he's nice"
But Gila can't hear a single word as she remembers all of the stories that her dad told her about humans when
she was little, Humans are insatiable fish eating creatures of pure evil that would cook her up without a second
of hesitation. a1
Those stories scared her and now the very being from those stories is in the same room as her carrying a box.
"He's going to chop me up and put me in there!" Gila thought in fear as tears threatened to spill from her eyes.
"My Dad was right" a+
Lincoln just looked confused "Ok I want to say that was the strangest greeting I've ever had but that doesn't
even make the top ten" he said as they all gave him a look
"So what happened" Lincoln asked trying to make sense of what happened.
"Allow me to explain" Miss Grimwood said feeling guilty at having forgotten one of her students greatest fear.
Miss Grimwood explained about Gila's fear of human's since she was little as she believes they would eat her
and as he listened, Lincoln had a soft understanding smile as he looked at the young sea monster girl as the
others talked to her..
"We're sorry Gila" Sibella apologized as the girl was still under the table but turned her eyes to see the young
vampire " We completely forgot about how you feel about humans.
"ya we're really sorry" Tanis said sadly, feeling bad that they did this to one of their friends.
Gila seeing the little mummy looking so sad, swallowed her fear only a little so she can reach out from under the
table to pat her head reassuringly.
"I-it's f-fine ghouls" Gila tries to assure them " All you d-did was i-invite a f-friend o-over"
"I-I'll j-just s-stay under h-here for know" Gila tells them as she backs up further under the table.
The ghouls looked sadly at Gila as they then turned to Lincoln
"We're sorry to you too" Winnie said sadly as her ears seemed to flopped down sadly"This isn't how we thought
this would go"
Lincoln then started to pat her on the head, as she looked up he saw him still smiling softly "It's fine, none of
yous have to apologize to me"
"But-" Tanis was about to only to be cut off
"It's fine I said, the only one who deserves an apology is the one underneath the table" Lincoln said "And since
you already did that then you have nothing else to apologize for.
The ghouls are all happy that Lincoln was understanding, Miss Grimwood was pleased at the kindness and
maturity of the young man in front of her.
Tsuki watched from the sideline finding the seen sweet and Gila just watched as her living nightmare comforted
her friends.
As the Ghouls led him to the couch to sit Lincoln made sure to sit far from Gila but that she can still see him
clearly so she knows where he is and had his hands visible at all times so that she can feel slightly at ease.
The only one to notice his subtle movements for Gila was Miss Grimwood who was grateful for the care he's
showing to her student.
"Hey so I'm guessing your the friend they made the other day" Tsuki said trying to break the ice before it could
settle "My names Tsuki it's nice to meet you" She introduced herself as she reached out her claw to him.
Smiling Lincoln grabbed the claw "It's nice to meet you, my names Lincoln Loud"
"So did you really make those macarons yesterday?" Tsuki asked "Cuz I would love the recipe for those, they
were amazing yesterday.
"Yes I did" Lincoln answered "I'm glad you liked them, I also brought a cake for everyone later" Lincoln pointed
to the box in his hand before asking Winnie to place it on the table, which she did but it looked like she was
straining.
"Is it heavy?" Lincoln asked watching the little werewolf staring at the box with drool slowly gathering at the
edge of her mouth.
"No it just smells really good" Winnie said as it's taking a lot of effort to not just rip the box open and start eating,
Lincoln then nods as he should have known that her enhanced sense of smell would allow her to smell the cake.
"Well then we can have some after dinner then" Miss Grimwood told the ghouls
"Machikirenai (I can't wait)" Tsuki said in Japanese by accident as Lincoln then looked at her.
"Nihongo o hanashite iru ki ga shita (I had a feeling you spoke Japanese)" Lincoln said in Japanese much to the
shock of the ghouls and a pleasant surprise to Tsuki
"Nihongo o shitte imasu ka (you know Japanese?)" Tsuki asked him
"Sukoshidake (Only a little)" Lincoln answered even though he's speaking fluently
They continued their talk in Japanese for a while as everyone else is trying to figure out what their saying.
"Can you two speak english please?" Winnie said as she starts feeling dizzy trying to follow the conversation as
Lincoln and Tsuki realized that they've been talking in Japanese the whole time.
"Oops sorry" Lincoln apologized as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Ya we kind of just went off their but it was so nice to meet someone who can speak in Japanese" Tsuki said as
she looked at Lincoln "But I've got to asked on how did you know I speak Japanese.
"Your name in Japanese means moon probably because your scales are as pale like the moon so that's were
your parents got your name from, you also new what macarons were as they are a well known treat in Japan."
Lincoln explained "But I still wasn't a 100% sure.
"Wow you got it on the first try" Tsuki said impressed "My Dad did say he picked my name because it matched
the moon."
"Who's your father?" Lincoln asked as he remembered that they all had famous monster parents
"Godzilla" Tsuki said proudly as Lincoln was shocked
"Godzilla, king of the kaiju?" Lincoln asked as she nodded now a little worried that he might fear her cuz of her
dad.
"That's awesome" Lincoln exclaimed much to Tsuki relief.
"For a second their I thought you'd be scared of me because of my dad" Tsuki said
"Why did you think that?" Lincoln asked confused as Tsuki gave him a look
"Uh, It's Godzilla" Tsuki said as if it was obvious "Even other monsters fear him, so I thought all humans feared
him too."
"Well like I told the others, I'm not like most humans" Lincoln said as the ghouls smiled as they remembered
those words" And I'm not the only one who wouldn't fear Godzilla"
"Oh ya who else wouldn't fear my dad?" Tsuki wondered who else could find the image of her dad not
frightening.
"My little sister Lana" Lincoln answered before adopting a thinking position "To be honest she might ask for an
autograph."
Tsuki looks at him for a moment before she starts to laugh "Hahaha hahaha ha"
"You now what if I ever meet your sister I'll have dad give her an autograph" Tsuki said through her laughs as the
thought of her dad's expression when he hears that a little girl would ask for his autograph would be priceless.
"I didn't know you had a little sister" Sibella said as throughout their talk yesterday, he never mentioned his
family.
"I have a few sisters to be honest" Lincoln told them as he can't wait to see their reactions "and as the middle
child it gets exhausting stopping them from destroying the house."
"It can't be that many" Phanty said "How many sisters do you have? four, five?"
"try ten" Lincoln said as he will swear to this day he heard a car crash when he said that.
"TEN!?!!?" they shouted in surprise, even Gila from underneath the table shouted as she poked her head out a
little to hear the conversation better.
"Yep" Lincoln said as he tried his hardest not to laugh unknown to them a little martian happened to hear the
conversation before returning to her room was equally surprised.
"Make note that human earthlings seem to reproduce at an alarming rate" Milly said in her wrist recorder. a1
Back with the group they are still in shock, Miss Grimwood herself couldn't believe that any woman would want
to give birth eleven times.
"That can't be possible" Elsa said in complete disbelief
"It is" Lincoln answered as he pulled out a strip of photos with him and his sisters, The ghouls all looked at the
photos with jaws dropped.
"In order it goes Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa, and Lily" Lincoln said as he pointed to each
of his sisters.
"Praise the mother for going through with it, the woman must be made of steel" Miss Grimwood thought but she
seemed to focus on Lucy's picture for a second but before she could get a good look Lincoln put the pictures
away. "Why do I get the feeling that she's familiar?"
"Wow" Winnie exclaimed not knowing what to really say to that. "And your the middle child?"
"Yep" Lincoln replied
After they got over the shock that was Lincoln's family they decided to show Lincoln around, they showed him
the art room where Tsuki showed of her latest painting which Lincoln was impressed with, then the music room
where Phantasma played the organ as Lincoln clapped as he enjoyed the show as Phanty beamed.
They had such a great time together and all the ghouls(Besides Gila and Milly) enjoyed his company as he
showed genuine interest in their hobby's and spending time with them, but soon enough Lincoln had to leave.
As the ghouls are saying by to him Tanis was hugging his leg as she looked up at him.
"Will you comeback and visit again?" She asked as Lincoln then looked at Miss Grimwood for a silent
permission, who gave a small nod to his delight.
"Of course I will" Just then Lincoln felt something resonate inside of him as he spoke these word as if he spoke
them a hundred times "It's a promise, and when I make a promise I never go back on it."
The ghouls smiled at that, happy to have a friend like him.
Miss Grimwood smiles at the scene "If only everyone was just a fraction as compassionate and understanding as
this young man then monsters and humans would never have fought in the first place."
She watched as the young man that has made a special place in her students leave with the promise to visit
again.
Lincoln returned the next day to the ghouls delight (though Gila now prepared for his visit stayed away from him
at all times), and then the next day and it continued till it was now the sixth day of Lincoln's vacation.
As Lincoln is in the common room with the ghouls (besides Milly, Gila and Winnie) as they told him about their
old gym teachers
"I still can't believe that The Scooby and Shaggy taught here" Lincoln said in shock
"Don't forget Scrappy" Phanty said
Just then Winnie came into the room carrying a book with a frustrated expression but when she saw Lincoln her,
she became happy again as her tail wagged in excitement.
"Awoo" Winnie howled as she ran over to them.
"Hey Winnie I was wondering where you were" Lincoln said as the little werewolf was usually one of the first to
greet him at the door.
Lincoln takes notice of the book she's carrying as it seems to have a spell circle on the cover.
Her tail stopped wagging but she tried not to show how upset she was.
"Ya I've just been trying to brush up on my spell work" Winnie admits with a downhearted expression "It hasn't
been going well.
Lincoln and the others looked at the sad expression on her face and as the other know how hard it was for
Winnie to do magic, Lincoln adopted a thinking position as he is now deep in thought.
Unknown to the group is that Miss Grimwood was just outside the door, she had seen Winnie's expression and
was going to comfort the poor girl but the look on Lincoln's face made her stop as she wonders what he plans to
do.
"Well I can't do magic, but I'm a friend that can help" Lincoln said as patted Winnie's head "Why don't you try a
spell in front of me and we can see whats wrong?"
Winnie looked up at him wanting to ask how would that help, but as she looked at him she saw a such a kind
smile on his face it made her agree.
"Ok, I'll give it a try" Winnie said as she opened the book to a beginner level spell that creates a ball of light.
After chanting the spell and holding out her hands where the light should be, as she suspected nothing
happened.
"See" Winnie said as her ears flopped "I'm just not good with magic."
As the Ghouls were about comfort her Lincoln asked a question.
"Did you imagine that it wouldn't work?"
Winnie looked up at him not understanding
"Well I did thought it wouldn't work, but I always hope that it would" Winnie answered
"Then how did you think it would work?" Lincoln asked her as Miss Grimwood leaned in a little wondering where
he's going with this.
"I mean what else it their to think about either the light appears or it doesn't, right?" Winnie replied confused by
the question.
"Try the spell again but this time before you chant the spell close your eyes and listen to the words that I'll say"
Lincoln told her
"Do you really think that it would work this time after I just failed" Winnie asked him
"Yes" Lincoln said with up most certainty that Winnie some how couldn't say anything against it because it was
just lie when he told her that she could get better and here he is with the same level of certainty.
"Ok, I'll give it another go" Winnie said as she closed her eyes and held out her hands
"Now focus, you want to invision a ball of light, but it wont just appear no, you will create it." Lincoln said as
Winnie and everyone else in hanging on his words.
"imagine you magic getting excited as it forms the shape of a ball and the more it gets excited it starts to emit a
light can you see it?"
In truth, Winnie can see it, the way he worded it makes such a vivid picture in her mind that she's thinks it's real,
just then she said the chant and she heard gasps.
Opening her eyes she was shocked that floating in front of her was a small white ball of light the size of a
baseball that seems to follow her hands.
"You did it Winnie!"
"OMG look you did a spell!"
"I knew you could do it"
As the Ghouls continue to praise the little werewolf she just stared at the floating ball of light in front of her.
"I-I did it" Winnie said in a whisper before her tail starts wagging the fastest it ever had before "I DID IT!" Winnie
shouted before loosing focus as the ball of light vanished with a sudden pop, But Winnie didn't care she was
able to cast a spell.
"I'm so proud of you Winnie" Just then Miss Grimwood decided to make herself known as Winnie ran up to her
"Miss Grimwood did you see, did you see" Winnie said in excitement "I did magic!"
Miss Grimwood chuckled as the enthusiasm of the little werewolf "I did see Winnie and I think you owe a big
thank you too someone" as she looked at Lincoln who was happy that Winnie was happy
"Oh it was the least I could-" Lincoln couldn't finish his sentence as Winnie tackled him in a hug
"Thank you Thank you Thank you" Winnie said as her tail was wagging like crazy "Your the best big brother
ever!" she said much to the shock of everyone a1
It took a little bit before Winnie realized what she just said as she jumped up and started to try and explain
herself.
"Wait I didn't mean it like that-well i did but" before Winnie can make a fool of herself Lincoln started to pat her
head.
"it's fine if you see me like an older brother" Lincoln told her as he had a million watt smile on his face "I'm
touched that you see me like that."
And he really was as it warmed his heart to know that she thinks so highly of him.
"Though I'm impressed that you were able to help Winnie with her magic" Miss Grimwood said trying to save
Winnie from becoming a tomato with how much she's blushing. "How did you help her." she asked as the others
wanted to know too.
"The reason she was having problem with her magic was imagery" Lincoln explained "She didn't understand
how the spell would work and when it does fail that's the only image that she has when casting."
"So you gave her something else to imagine in a way that would make the spell work" Miss Grimwood said in
understanding as an idea is slowly working in her mind.
"That's the gist of it" Lincoln confirmed as they all looked impressed
"For someone who can't do magic you sure know your stuff" Phanty said as she floated to Lincoln's left side.
"Well maybe he can" Sibella as she's now on Lincoln's right side "It's rare for humans to be able to use magic but
not unheard of, Like Miss Grimwood" She said as Miss Grimwood was a witch a human women that can use
magic.
"Ya I'll bet that he can use magic too" Winnie said as she believe he can do it just like how he believed in her.
"Well now it seems that we test that don't we" Miss Grimwood said "I have suspected that he might be able to
use magic or at the very least come from a magic bloodline as he seems to be able to sense magic."
"Really?" Tanis wondered before looking at Lincoln "Did you have anyone in your family that did magic?"
"No no I didn't-" Lincoln denied before he remembered something "Well their was a rumor that my great
grandmother was a witch so I can't really confirm or deny anything"
"Well why don't you try out the spell for yourself" Miss Grimwood offered "Even if it doesn't I would still sense is
any magic starts to stir."
Winnie then handed Lincoln the book as she pointed to the incantation, on the outside Lincoln looked calm but
on the inside she was nervous.
"Silver and the others did say I'll be able to use magic" Lincoln thought "But I haven't been trained like they said
so will it even work? he then looked to the ghouls that gave him encouragement "Well even if it doesn't work It's
nice that they have such faith in me" he thought with a smile.
Lincoln then closed his eyes as he imagine the same image that he told Winnie, after a minute he felt something
stir inside of him as he he chanted the spell.
Lincoln heard a gasp and opened his eyes expecting to see a ball of light similar to Winnie's floating in front of
him only to see nothing there.
"Well it looks like it didn't work" Lincoln said slightly disappointed that it didn't work but he then notices every
ones expressions as they are shocked beyond belief.
"Are you all ok?" Lincoln asked as he realizes that their all looking above him "What are you all looking -"Lincoln
couldn't finish his sentence as he is trying to understand what he's looking at.
Floating over him were 15 pale blue balls of light, the first five were the size of beach balls and were moving in a
circle to the left.
The next five were the size of basketballs the same color floating in side the circle of the first one but they
formed a circle moving to the right.
The Last five were in the center of it all, they were the same size as Winnie's ball that she made and also formed
a circle moving left.
Lincoln slowly reached out a hand to touch on of them but just before he could they all vanish with loud pops.
Turning back to the group that still had surprised faces as they stared straight at Lincoln.
"Errr was that ok?" Lincoln asked hoping to get someone to say something
"was that ok? WAS THAT OK!?" Phantasma floated straight at Lincoln as they were now so close their noses
almost touch. "That was incredible!!!!" She shouted as she gave him a big hug as that snapped the others out it.
They all started to ask him on how did he do that and Winnie wanted him to try one of the bigger spells.
Miss Grimwood however wanted to test something
"Now Girls" Miss Grimwood said gaining their attention "I know you are all very excited and so am I but please
give him some space especially you Phantasma as the poor boy needs to breath" Miss Grimwood said as the
ghouls looked as they see Phantasma hugging the poor guy to death in between her boobs, as she let go with a
blushing face Lincoln takes a deep breath of air.
"I thought thing go through ghost?" Lincoln questioned as he takes big gulps of air, much to Phanty's
embarrassment
"Hehe Sorry Lincoln" Phanty apologized as Lincoln waved off her apology knowing that she was just excited,
Sibella watched from the side with a small frown on her face.
Tsuki seemed to have notice and leaned down to whisper to Winnie and Tanis "Hey do you think that Sibella and
Phantasma like Lincoln?" she asked
Winnie grinned and Tanis began to giggle "Oh it's obvious" Winnie told her "So lets just sit back and enjoy the
show." Winnie said as she has a feeling that their crush on Lincoln will be one of the most entertaining thing to
watch.
Tsuki was about to ask which one does she think will confess first but her attention was drawn back to Miss
Grimwood who summoned a crystal ball.
"Lincoln if it's alright with you, I would like to test your latent magical potential" Miss Grimwood asked as she
hopes that he'll say yes.
"Of course if it's not to much trouble" Lincoln said happy that he can finally start testing magic.
"It's no trouble at all dear" Miss Grimwood assures "Now just place your both your hands on top of the crystal
ball and close your eyes"
Doing as Miss Grimwood Instructed Lincoln placed his hands on top of the crystal ball as he closed his eyes.
Miss Grimwood then placed her hands on top of his as she too closed her eyes as she reached out with her
magic to make a path to see the magic potential inside the young man before her.
~Inside the mind~
Miss Grimwood opened her eyes and found herself floating in a black void, looking around she could see
nothing.
"That's strange" Miss Grimwood thought "I sensed a large amount of magic inside of him but theirs nothing
here?"
He was able to cast magic that much she was sure so she continued to look around until a small white light
appeared almost like a star.
Looking at the white light and feeling that this was his magic, she was about to leave when out of nowhere a
second light appeared next to the first on except this one was red.
Looking at the two light in confusion she almost missed the third light that appeared which was blue.
Soon enough more lights of different colors appeared, some repeated but even if they were the same color they
had a different feel to them.
In just a moment the void was filled with these lights as it now looks like the universe has opened up, it was...it
was...
"Magnificent" Miss Grimwood whispered as she gazed at the beauty of it.
But she wasn't able to gaze for long as the lights started to grow brighter and brighter, forcing her to shield her
eyes.
~Real world~
Miss Grimwood nearly fell out of her seat in shock of what she just witness, but was able to compose herself as
she didn't want to worry her students.
"Is everything alright Miss Grimwood?" Elsa asked their headmistress as she and the others see her expression.
"I'm fine dear" Miss Grimwood assures her students " It's just I was surprise at Lincolns magical Potential"
"Is it good?" Lincoln asked hoping he didn't fail.
Miss Grimwood looks at the young man before her with the idea that's been in her head for sometime now in full
view.
"Yes your potential is rather large" Miss Grimwood admitted not wanting to give out to much detail until they
were alone. "but I would like to talk to you in my office if that is alright with you in private."
Feeling that it would probably be for the best Lincoln followed Miss Grimwood to her office leaving the ghouls
behind to wonder if everything was really ok.
After entering her office Miss Grimwood sat behind her desk as Lincoln took one of the chairs placed in front.
"Know before we begin I'd like to assure you that you didn't do anything wrong" Miss Grimwood told him as
Lincoln let out a sigh of relief.
"Then if I didn't do anything wrong then why am I here?" Lincoln asked wondering why she would like to talk to
him in private.
Miss Grimwood gave him a smile as she answered his question.
"Well I would like to offer you a place in my school"
