Chapter 1 - Prologue- The Last Roar

Hundreds of years ago, before the world as we know it was shaped, the Earth's heart pulsed with a force unlike any other — the Planet-Bound Core Resonance. It was a cosmic rhythm that fused energy deep within the planet, touching every living thing. Some were blessed. Others... were cursed.

From the shadows of that primeval time emerged a terror beyond imagining: Vael'Zorah, the Primordial Dragon. Not born of flesh, nor of nature, Vael'Zorah was forged from a dying star, its scales shimmering with the power of galaxies and its roar shaking the very core of the Earth.

As Vael'Zorah unleashed destruction upon the world, the ancient nations crumbled. Mutated creatures, born of the Core Resonance, scattered into hiding. Only one stood defiant: Seren Althar, the last Corebinder, a warrior with the sacred power to bind life itself to the Planet Core.

Clad in the Seal of Eleven Chains—a mystical prison forged from her soul and the fragments of the core—Seren faced Vael'Zorah alone. Seven days of battle reshaped the lands, until, with a final desperate cry, Seren wrapped the mighty dragon in chains that reached into the planet's depths.

"Sleep," she whispered as the dragon's fury was sealed, "and awaken only when the blood of the silent one calls."

Both vanished beneath the Earth, the dragon bound but not destroyed.

Before her strength failed, Seren spoke a prophecy that echoed through time:

> "When the core pulses thrice beneath a crimson sky,

And beasts walk as kings,

A child of no mark and no bond

Shall awaken the heart of the star-eater.

Born not of power, but silence,

Cloaked in scales unseen,

He will hold the last breath of the dragon—

And with it, the fate to end or begin."

And so, the world moved on, unaware that the slumbering dragon waited, that the prophecy whispered still, and that a boy named Alex would soon stir the ancient fire once more.
