Chapter 20 - Chapter 20

On Buggy's… no, Jon's ship.

Makino cleaned up her treasure, which had been enlarged by the Beast King entry, and nestled against Jon, full of obedience and dependence.

She knew she could no longer leave this man, whom she had only known for a day.

She slowly raised her head, her eyes hazy, but her voice held a hint of unease:

"Jon, you're not allowed to abandon me in the future."

Although it was a demanding tone, Jon heard a plea in her words.

He ruffled Makino's green hair, a mischievous sense of conquest stirring within him.

He understood that girls were always anxious and insecure at times like these.

But seeing the usually gentle big sister from the original timeline show such a pitiful expression…

He couldn't help but feel a little smug.

Gently pulling Makino into his embrace, Jon kissed her forehead, his voice soft:

"Never, Makino~ daisuki."

"Mm!"

Makino responded with a firm nod, sweetly snuggling into Jon's muscular embrace.

She had been conquered!

"Read entries."

[Makino's Entries: Absolute Obedience (Blue), Falling in Love (Blue), Can't Let Go (Blue)]

As Makino fell into a deep sleep, Jon read her entries.

He didn't intend to plunder Makino's entries; he just wanted to see if she had any self-preservation abilities.

The result was obvious.

All three of Makino's blue entries were, in fact, H-game entries!

Jon fell silent for a moment. He would definitely be going out to sea in the future.

He might not be a pirate.

But dangers on the sea were constant, and his woman couldn't be without some strength.

After much thought.

He decided that after he finished his business, he would bring Makino back to Cocoyasi Village with him.

She would train with Nami and Nojiko!

Hmm, it wasn't because he couldn't bear to part with Makino's body!

...…

The next day, at dawn.

Having taken Buggy's clown ship for themselves, the two removed the pirate flag and sat down at the deck's dining table to rest, admiring the sea dyed by the rising sun.

"What are you going to do about the bar in Windmill Village?" Jon asked.

"What else can I do? If I can't transfer it, I'll just close it down," Makino said, resting her chin in her hands, looking helpless. "I originally wanted to focus on running the bar, but you forced me to come home with you and spanked my bottom. I really don't have a say, do I?"

Jon silently turned his head and glanced at Makino.

In the faint morning light, this gentle sister had her chest pressed against the table, staring at his face, her eyes clearly filled with endless love.

I forced you?

I think you were super willing, alright?

A girl's modesty made Makino say one thing and mean another, so Jon needed to be a little more proactive.

However… he was also just a child, right?!

"Makino, guess how old I am this year?"

"Emmm, at most twenty, I guess, because your face is too young."

"Haha." Jon leaned close to Makino's ear and whispered something.

Makino was stunned for a moment, then, recovering, she glared at Jon indignantly:

"Jon! I know I'm easy to trick, but you can't treat me like an idiot!!"

"Where would you find a two-meter tall child with muscles all over?"

"And he's so… so…"

Makino couldn't finish the rest of her sentence, blushing as she glanced at Jon's pants.

Jon burst into laughter, no longer dwelling on the question.

His actual age? Adding both lives together, he was almost forty.

Saying he was twenty was already a compliment!

Stretching comfortably in the morning light, Jon pointed to the island:

"Didn't you say Shimotsuki Village is in the north of the city? Let's go! We'll go around the island and check it out."

"Eh?" Makino looked up in surprise.

"What's with that expression? Didn't I tell you yesterday that I came to Shimotsuki Island specifically for the Isshin Dojo, and I'm taking you on a date along the way?"

"A date…"

Makino's face turned rosy, and her beautiful eyes sparkled with joy.

What Isshin Dojo? Jon is so powerful, how could he be interested in a small village's dojo?

Hmph, he's clearly a boy who says one thing and means another.

He says he wants to go to the Isshin Dojo.

But he actually just wants to go on a date with me, and he's too embarrassed to say it directly, right?

(Jon: ? What a silly girl!)

......

An hour later.

The two had purchased some food and fresh water and moved it onto the ship together.

Shimotsuki Island was indeed an ungoverned place; even when a pirate ship was taken over, the Marines didn't intervene.

After loading the supplies they needed, Jon suddenly thought of a crucial problem.

"Makino, do you know how to sail a ship?"

Makino: ???

You forced me to go out to sea with you yesterday, and today you're telling me you don't know how to sail?

Jon also felt quite embarrassed. After scratching his head, he stared at the helm.

This was his first time on a ship to Shimotsuki Island; he had no sailing experience whatsoever.

He should have borrowed Nami's navigation entry first.

The atmosphere was quiet for a while.

Jon was about to tell Makino to get off the ship with him, but as soon as he turned around, he saw Makino opening the storage compartment and grunting as she pushed out a barrel of cola.

Clang!

Makino pushed the cola barrel into the navigation room and then pressed a red button next to it.

At the bottom of the clown ship, two exhaust pipes immediately appeared, and a groove also appeared in the navigation room, perfectly sized to fit a barrel of cola.

"I heard Mr. Garp say that some ships can use cola as energy. I didn't believe it at the time, but this morning, while wandering around, I saw this device."

"But I only know how to put the cola in; I'm not sure how to start it."

Makino explained, tilting her head, while Jon was dumbfounded.

No way, have I become a country bumpkin?
