The world of Nelixes is divided into many continents, each inhabited by different species of people who live separately. For example, vampires live in the blood continent while Mermaids, Sirens, whale-kin, etc. live in the oceanic continent, Dragons live in the dragon continent, etc. The only place where individuals from various species come together is at the Nelix Academy.
The power system in this world categorizes all beings into ranks as follows:
**For People :**

Monsters above the rank of Awakened are intelligent and Monsters above Monarch rank are capable of speech and are also called calamities.
