"This is the place."
At night, Naruto arrived outside a small house on the outskirts of the village. After making sure no one was around, he sneaked inside, grabbed the only scroll on his back, and prepared to run away immediately.
Behind him, a spiritual figure closely followed to prevent any accidents.
"What an idiot."
Sasuke smiled wryly—he wasn't even sure if the scroll was real.
"Hey, Sasuke said before that when you get something, you need to check it, otherwise how would you know if you've been fooled?"
Just as they reached the door, Naruto suddenly stopped, eyes wide with anxiety, and shook the scroll off his back.
The large scroll spun around the small house again and again until it fully unrolled.
The ninja techniques inside, as expected, contained only a single Multi Shadow Clone Technique, then it was completely empty.
"So it's fake."
Naruto sat on the ground, disappointed, not even wanting to pick up the scattered scroll.
"I knew it couldn't be that easy to graduate. Water Wood's (Mizuki's) method really is tough."
"Wait, this is the place, so there must be a real scroll here somewhere. The first stage of the graduation exam is to find the real Sealing Scroll."
"It has to be. Sealing Scroll, here I come!"
Naruto muttered to himself while sitting, clearly seeing Sasuke's thumbs-up beside him but pretending not to notice.
He knew Sasuke's ninjutsu was strange, but since Sasuke's body hadn't come along physically, this had to remain a secret.
After so long, he finally managed to win a round against Sasuke, and the thought made him extremely happy!
"It's probably under this platform."
After dinner, Sasuke caught up with him. Seeing Naruto's little proud look after circling around, he helplessly gave him a hint.
This idiot still isn't acting convincingly enough, and his time is limited—better hurry and finish everything within three hours.
"So strange, how could it not be here? Since Teacher Mizuki said it exists, it definitely does."
Naruto scratched his head in frustration, circling around the wooden platform where the Sealing Scroll was supposedly placed. Then, with a grunt, he kicked the wooden platform hard.
"Huh? That's weird, it's empty inside."
Curious, Naruto searched the surrounding area and finally discovered a hidden compartment that could be opened. Excited, he opened it and took out a large scroll from inside.
That scroll had actually been placed there by an Anbu member from a secret chamber beneath the house while Naruto was inspecting the walls and windows.
Sasuke watched this with a helpless chuckle but had a rough idea—it was another precaution set by the Third Hokage, worried Naruto might give up and not continue.
However, if this genuine Sealing Scroll was taken out and caught the attention of Danzo...
Though both were from Konoha, Danzo wouldn't easily let Naruto off if he found an opportunity to cause serious trouble for him.
"So this must be the real Sealing Scroll, right? But... I can't understand any of what's written here!"
Naruto opened the scroll in the same way as before, but after reading the first part, the rest only gave him a headache.
All these strange ninjutsu made his head ache just from a glance, and he couldn't remember a single thing that was written.
