It's not just about winning—it's about making the most of what you have and gaining valuable experience before facing the challenges beyond the academy walls.

Beast Hunt

A thrilling challenge where students track and subdue magical creatures in the academy's enchanted forest — testing teamwork and combat skills.

Imperial Mage Championship

The prestigious duel tournament held in the capital of the Astia Empire, where only the top students from various academies compete for the title of Top Mage of the year.

The Elemental Showcase

A spirited in-school competition showcasing students' command over elemental magic, judged by professors and the headmaster to identify the most talented mage.

Midterm Trials

The rigorous mid-year exams that push students to their limits in theory, practical casting, and magical knowledge.

Final Arcane Examination

The high-stakes final exam combines intense practical and theoretical tests, determining eligibility for advancement or graduation.

Graduation

The ceremonial send-off for graduating students, filled with awards, speeches, and sometimes surprising revelations or challenges for the future.

[Places in Velgrin Magic Academy]

The Grand Library

A towering, ancient structure filled with countless magical tomes, scrolls, and artifacts.

The library is enchanted to rearrange its own shelves, making it easy to get lost—or find hidden knowledge.

Training Grounds

Expansive outdoor arenas where students practice spellcasting, dueling, and beast control.

Includes elemental simulators—enclosed areas where specific elements (fire, water, wind, earth) can be manipulated safely for training.

A place for the Beast Hunt event.

Dormitories and Commons

Separate living quarters divided by year and sometimes by magical aptitude or year.

Each dorm has unique charms and enchantments tailored to the residents' needs.

Commons areas where students relax, socialize, and hold informal magical practice sessions.

Noble ranking has no room in this academy, it is standard to treat everyone equally. (even though it doesn't happen.)

Enchanted Forest

A sprawling, mystical forest adjacent to the school grounds.

Home to magical creatures, rare herbs, and hidden ruins from before the academy was founded.

Frequent site for classes, quests, and the Beast Hunt event.

The Underground Vault

A high-security chamber where ancient, powerful magical items are stored and studied.

Protected by complex magical locks and puzzles only a few know how to bypass.

The Observatory

A tall tower equipped with magical lenses and instruments for studying stars, the Spell Gates, and celestial mana surges.

Used for advanced classes and research related to the Star Gate and cosmic magic.

Secret Passages & Hidden Chambers

Countless secret tunnels, forgotten rooms, and hidden libraries scattered throughout the academy.

Some were created by previous students or faculty; others by the academy's mysterious founders.

Dining Hall / Cafeteria

The place students eat, relax, and gossip. Often a social hub.

Common Rooms / Lounges

Relaxation spaces specific to year groups, houses, or social circles.

The Mana Nexus — Heart of Velgrin Academy

Situated immediately inside the grand entrance, the Mana Nexus is the first thing students, faculty, and visitors see when entering the academy.

A vast, cathedral-like hall with high vaulted ceilings, filled with glowing magical light from floating orbs and enchanted chandeliers.

The centerpiece is the enormous, rotating crystal sphere of the world, suspended on a magical pedestal in the middle of the hall. Its soft hum resonates throughout the space.

The floor is crafted from polished stone inlaid with glowing mana circuits that pulse in sync with the Nexus's energies.

The Founder's Chamber

Hidden chamber only accessible to a true descendant or reincarnation of the original founder. The Headmaster keeps it under lock and key, away from students.
