Edward Laurance, a young man living a peaceful and happy life, unexpectedly got transported to a new world, in a totally different body. 

Being told a lie, that he can't return back to his world until he kills a particular person, he remains there venturing, training and pushing himself to the limits… But his fate asks him to take a different and darker route.

Little did he know, it was all part of the grand scheme of someone else. And he kept falling into it, akin to a mouse falling into a trap.

Note: It is not a story where the MC tries to return to his home. There is something more deep, which you would find later, as the story progresses.
