Ai and Kuyumi got along and became good friends at such a short time after one conversation, a few hours passed and Kuyumi invited the both to eat lunch with her before leaving.
Akira glances at Ai who was already giving him an expression. Akira sighed; he couldn't help but agree meanwhile Ai cheers as she won a chance. Kuyumi laughs at the both. She then went to the kitchen to prepare lunch, while Akira and Ai sat back again at the living room; Ai scrolls through her phone as she saw a latest trending post of Aqua and Akane. Ai blushes, giggling at her son and her girlfriend, Akane. Ai showed this to Akira; he was not really interested but he makes a stoic support.
"Congrats?"
Ai's furrows her eyebrows, she pinches Akira's leg; Akira jumped in suprise while Ai demands a better answer.
Akira replied
"Ow- okay, they look fine; But first of all, they're high schoolers, and being in a relationship can affect their studies, Second of all, your time is divided with study and your partner, in short, those in a relationship in their highschool life will have more probability of failure in school than a guy that focuses on studies because he has nothing to divide time with."
Ai felt awkward, raising an eyebrow at his opinion.
"You sounded like an old man."
"Plus, how about you and Kuyumi? Didn't you have a relationship when you two are high schoolers?"
Kuyumi overheard the conversation while carrying the food to the table, Kuyumi replied saying, "We only had an official relationship after finishing college."
Akira meanwhile helps Kuyumi carry the rest of the food from the kitchen.
Kuyumi takes out an old book on display near a drawer, she then sat beside Ai; she opens the book, showing her of her old photos with Akira and their batchmates before. Ai was in awe, looking at the young Akira actually smiling in old photos (Because Ai never saw him smile in those past 13 years with him; Akira never smiles ever after Hikaru tried to manipulate Kuyumi)
Kuyumi smiles, laughing as she shows Ai her favorite photo of Akira's smile.
"How about you look at this?"
Kuyumi flips the page into that specific photo where Akira smiles below the sun in a beach; His smile was like you'd forget problems exist — it was warm as the sun with the gentle breeze within the photo; you could feel all of it. Suddenly, that excitement from Ai felt like something more, and a desire to see that smile herself. Kuyumi shakes Ai, teasing her about being frozen for seconds now. Ai realized her feelings and quickly shook it off. Akira just came back and places the final food before the three prayed and finally started eating lunch. While they are eating, Ai continues to flip the pages in Kuyumi's old memory book. Looking at all of their photos, especially Akira's smiling photos. Akira noticed her and felt uncomfortable being seen while smiling, he reaches for the book and closes it; while so, their fingers brushed, it made Ai weirdly sensitive and made her jump, Ai doesn't understand what's wrong with her. After Akira finishes lunch first, he then asked Kuyumi if she's ever interested in training an idol. Kuyumi raised in eyebrow in confusion and curiosity,
"What do you mean?" Kuyumi asked.
"To be direct, we were once mentors of the new revived group of Ai, now led by Kana Arima, the B-Komachi; and we just resigned because of Hikaru's current consecutive attempts of attacks to my defenses, I'll provide defense for your IP and information and even phone, so, may I ask you? Will you be willing to be the one to replace us?" Akira replied.
This made Ai and Kuyumi freeze for a second, Ai asked Akira in confusion,
"A-Akira-sama? What kind of proposal is that?"
Akira turns his head to Ai, explaining that he felt uneasy leaving them behind without an eye and at the same time also felt bad for her that they had to leave after just 2-3 nights mentoring the group. Ai was stunned for a sec, she couldn't believe this is actually Akira; she was red for a sec before slapping herself in both ways to keep her composure, Akira then turns his head to Kuyumi, waiting for her answer. Kuyumi blushed,
"Well, how am I supposed to reject something at full package already. But it is indeed kinda risky, having to be in public again had been something I've never been again after 16 years ago, so there might be some slight adjustments I'll need and being at danger's risk of Hikaru..."
Akira assured her, saying,
"I'll make sure to guard your IP and address. you can be assured of that. I just needed someone that can look over them. To be straightforward for my reasoning, I spotted Aqua taking my DNA through the glass I just drank that time."
Ai was shocked and quickly asked,
"Aqua-kun did that?! That's absurd...! Perhaps you're so sleepy you started hallucinating?"
Akira ruffles Ai's head,
"No, I'm not some sort of someone to quickly hallucinate because I'm sleepy, and I'm my memory is very sharp. I'm sure I'm not hallucinating."
Ai was flustered of his sudden action, he quickly puts his arms down, she clears her throat; she turns her head to Akira as she complains about his sudden actions and be more careful next time.
"Don't just do that out of the blue Akira-sama. At least warm me."
Akira nods; he then turns his head to Kuyumi asking her specific answer.
"Just a yes or no, I'll quickly send a message to Miyako-san via email if you agree so. No take backs."
Kuyumi in deep trust for Akira unhesitatingly agreed but still couldn't help but be bothered about being in public again and possible threats from Hikaru.
"Yes, I'll do it."
After that Akira quickly sends Miyako a message via-email that there will be a person in replace of them as mentors. After he sent that, they then prepares to leave the mountain ; Waving bye at Kuyumi. Kuyumi waves back at them as they fade away from the distance. Meanwhile, at the Ichigou productions; Kana calls out for Aqua to get prepared already for their meeting for the 2.5d Tokyo blade play.
"I'll be right there." Aqua replied.
"Gosh, you're such a slot today? We'll be late." Kana exclaimed.
Meanwhile, Aqua holds the DNA sample of Akira.
"We'll know...no secrets can be kept when it's against me–"
He takes the paper out fully, seeing the number of 3.17340218% fatherhood, in short, he's not the father but somehow Aqua has 3% of his DnA.
"What the..."
