Chapter 5 - Exam (1)

After the sparring session ended, we immediately returned to our classroom. As soon as we sat down, Andrea leaned toward me, her eyes sparkling.

"That was amazing!" she said with a beaming smile. "You were so cool out there! Your body is so Flexible" She added

I couldn't help it—her praise made a smug grin spread across my face. I tried to stay humble, I really did, but my ego was already tap dancing in my chest. Just as I opened my mouth to respond with some clever, charming line that would surely make her blush again—

"Not bad," came a sudden voice.

We turned to see Sheila standing near the front of the class. Her arms were crossed, but her expression wasn't the usual stern glare. In fact, it was oddly comforting, like a rare moment of warmth from a strict teacher.

"From what I saw, all of you are good enough," she continued, her voice calm and encouraging. "There are flaws here and there, sure, but you'll learn. That's what this academy is for."

That was... actually kind of nice? Especially For the student who lose within 10 Seconds I glanced at Andrea, expecting a smug smirk, but she was still staring at me, completely oblivious to everything else.

To my surprise, the lunch break was announced earlier than usual—probably thanks to the sparring session taking up part of the schedule.

Before I could even stretch my arms, Andrea grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me out of the room. As she did, I secretly activated my Seduction Aura—weak and subtle, directed solely at her.

Instantly, I felt her grip tighten slightly, her shoulders relaxing as she walked closer to me, almost brushing against my side. The aura made her more comfortable around me, easing her nerves, making our lunch walk feel like a casual date.

She talked non-stop the entire way, and I couldn't help but chuckle at her cheerful rambling. Her emerald eyes shimmered in the sunlight, full of energy and curiosity. Her golden hair flowed behind her like a banner in the wind, catching rays of sunlight that made her look like something out of a fairy tale.

For once, I didn't see any heroines or villainesses stalking us from the shadows. No surprise encounters, no system alerts—just a peaceful lunch. After we ate and class ended, we said our goodbyes.

That was the plan, anyway.

Just as we were about to part ways, the system pinged in my mind.

{Side Quest: Kiss Andrea}

{Reward: 1st Wing Unlock}

I froze mid-step, turning slowly to glance at Andrea. She tilted her head innocently, confused by my sudden hesitation. I sighed internally.

The quest didn't specify where I needed to kiss her. Thank the heavens. A kiss on the forehead should be enough, right? This was for a power unlock, after all. Not because I wanted to. Absolutely not. Nope.

Before she could ask what was wrong, I gently stepped forward and placed a kiss on her forehead. My warm breath tickled her skin as our bodies remained still for that single moment. Her skin was soft, smooth, and smelled faintly of flowers.

Andrea blinked. Her mind short-circuited.

And that's when I noticed the main character of this twisted academy world walking out of the building. He yawned, rubbed his eyes… and then froze the moment he saw us.

He stared at the scene in disbelief.

I could almost hear his thoughts

"Oh a Couple...This is Awkward"

He gulped, gave an awkward little wave, and quickly turned around, pretending to have seen nothing.

I sighed.

I felt like a scumbag.

The protagonist just spawned, and the first thing he saw was me kissing one of the love interests. Great. Now he's probably going to think I'm some Type of Womanizer.

I turned back to Andrea, expecting her to scold me or ask what that was all about.

Instead, I found her covering her face with both hands, cheeks visibly red and steaming. Her entire body was stiff, like a robot in standby mode.

"A-Andrea?" I asked hesitantly.

But she didn't respond.

Instead—she ran.

I stood there, dumbfounded, arm still halfway raised as if trying to reach her. The system rang again.

{1st Wing Unlocked}

Immediately, I felt a strange energy surge through my body. I felt... lighter. Stronger. As if gravity itself had decided I was worthy of floating just a little higher. My body itched to move, to test it out.

I sighed and made my way to the training grounds.

The facility looked modern, almost futuristic, with walls and dummies made of white reinforced blocks designed to absorb and counter attacks. Defensive runes and magical amplification circles were embedded in the floor, glowing faintly. Most students were too busy training to even glance at me.

But one pair of eyes did notice me.

Selena.

She stood at the far side, swinging her sword with elegant precision. We accidentally made eye contact.

It was awkward.

Really awkward.

Her brows furrowed in immediate disgust. "Are you seriously a stalker?" she snapped, her voice like frostbite.

I flinched.

My eye twitched in frustration. This again? I didn't even do anything this time!

I shook my head and walked away, heading to the opposite side of the training area. Thankfully, she didn't say anything more. Selena was way too aggressive lately. Did she have a hidden grudge or something?

I focused on the training dummy in front of me, exhaled slowly, and activated my bloodline.

A surge of power erupted in my body.

My senses sharpened. My muscles trembled with energy. Everything felt six times faster. I tried to walk slowly, but accidentally zipped several meters forward in a blur. I tried to swing my sword, but it was too fast—my brain couldn't even process the movement in time.

"Okay," I muttered. "This… needs serious practice."

I spent hours trying to get used to it. It was still clumsy, uncontrolled, and dangerous, but I could already tell—it was powerful. Once I mastered this speed boost, it would change everything.

By the time night fell, I was drenched in sweat and sore all over. I took a long bath, as usual, and stared at my reflection afterward.

Sigh.

The monster below my waist wasn't helping my comfort level. The bloodline and Seduction Aura weren't just cosmetic upgrades

After drying off, I collapsed onto my bed and fell asleep almost instantly.

The Next Morning

I stepped into the classroom, yawning slightly. My muscles were sore but I felt good. My gaze naturally drifted to Andrea, who was already seated and—

Fidgeting?

She kept glancing toward the door and twirling her fingers nervously. When our eyes met, she jolted like a startled bunny, cheeks already tinged pink. Last night's forehead kiss had clearly haunted her dreams.

I approached and she patted the seat beside her, clearly wanting me to sit. But as I did, she opened her mouth to speak… and no words came out.

Andrea, the girl who could talk for hours without pause, was suddenly shy and silent.

She bit her lip, looked away, then peeked back at me again like a guilty kitten.

I chuckled softly. "Morning."

She nodded rapidly, then whispered, "M-Morning…"

It was so out of character it was adorable.

Maybe today wouldn't be so bad after all.
