Inside the Team Rocket airship, the large capture net was retracted, and Giovanni arrived, successfully capturing Deoxys.

Giovanni released the other Deoxys. He then handed Deoxys a slightly worn handkerchief and ordered, "Use your Psycho Boost to find the owner of this handkerchief for me!"
The newly captured Deoxys was silent for a moment, but ultimately accepted its reality.
It walked up to the handkerchief, lowered its head to sense the lingering information, and quickly locked onto the owner's location.
Deoxys relayed the location to Giovanni's mind. Giovanni was stunned for a moment, then said excitedly, "Target Kanto Region! Proceed toward Viridian City!"
With that, Giovanni brought both Deoxys to the front of the control room. Watching the landscape rapidly receding below, the anticipation in his heart made him unable to hide the smile curling his lips.
While Giovanni was anticipating finding his son, among the Three Beasts following him, Carr's face was dark.
He whispered to Sird beside him, "Sird, come here for a moment."
He led Sird aside.
"Who is the owner of that handkerchief?" Carr asked Sird, his expression grim. "Who is the boss making Deoxys search for?!"

Sird remained silent, watching Carr calmly.
"You bastard! You know and you won't say! If you won't say it, I'll say it for you!"
Carr angrily pulled out a photograph: "The owner of the handkerchief is the child in this photo, isn't he! He must be the boss's son, right!"
"...So what if he is? What do you want to say?" Sird closed his eyes, sighed softly, then opened them, looking at Carr. "The purpose of capturing Deoxys was for the boss to find his son. What's the problem?"
"It's a huge problem!"

Sird turned to look at Orm and cautioned, "Orm, don't get any strange ambitions."
"Heh heh, I'm not that stupid." Orm chuckled. "I have no interest in being the boss. Besides, if the boss finally reunites with his son, that's something to be happy about, isn't it?"
Meanwhile, in the Viridian Gym in Viridian City, Kanto Region.
The person currently serving as the temporary Gym Leader was Yellow, Ash's disciple.
Silver, Giovanni's son, was currently inside the Viridian Gym.
With Yellow's help, she was using her Viridian Power to explore the deepest memories of Silver's starter Pokémon, Sneasel.
Based on Sneasel's memory, Yellow drew the person from Sneasel's recollections onto her sketchpad.
"Silver..."
Yellow looked at the man she had drawn, her expression conflicted. She said hesitantly, "You..."
Silver didn't pay attention to her hesitation. He snatched the sketchpad from Yellow, then stared at the man's portrait, momentarily stunned.
He looked up at the damaged statue standing in the corner of the Gym, then back at the sketchpad.
Even though the statue was damaged, Silver could still make out from the remaining features that the man on the statue and the man in the drawing were the same person!
"Yellow, who is he?!"
Silver pointed at the statue in the Gym, his breathing growing rapid.
"This is... Mr. Giovanni." Yellow wrestled with her conscience but finally revealed the truth: "He is the former Gym Leader of the Viridian Gym, Mr. Giovanni. And he is also the leader of Team Rocket!"
As soon as Yellow finished speaking, she suddenly felt a pull and immediately rushed out of the Gym.
"The forest... it seems to be calling to me."
"The trees are restless. It feels like something is about to happen."
Arriving at the outskirts of Viridian Forest, Yellow looked at the forest before her, her expression filled with unease.
"What's wrong? Why is the forest uneasy?" Silver pursued her, asking Yellow.

"But he's the leader of Team Rocket."

Before he could finish, a loud roar sounded. Silver and Yellow instantly looked toward the source of the noise.
In the sky, an airship was rapidly approaching their location over the Viridian Forest.
Silver immediately pulled out his binoculars to look. Seeing the large "R" on the airship, he lowered the binoculars and sneered, "It saves me the trouble of searching."
"Team Rocket?" Yellow was stunned, asking in disbelief, "What are they doing here?!"
"I don't know their objective," Silver said, looking up at the airship. "But I know one thing clearly: I have to stop them! Green is already dealing with them, so I must stop this branch of Team Rocket, and at the same time, find out Giovanni's location!"
With that, Silver released his Murkrow, grabbed onto its talons, and, with its help, quickly flew toward the airship!
