Kiana Kaslana, the daughter of Cecilia Schariac and Siegfried Kaslana.
Possessing the bloodlines of two of Schicksal's great families, the Kaslanas and the Schariacs, she was named "Kiana" by Theresa, meaning "Moon Goddess."
When Kiana was two years old, the core of the Second Herrscher, Sirin—the main entity of the Second Honkai War—went out of control just before Sirin's death.
The runaway core was powerful enough to destroy most of Asia. To prevent this catastrophe, Cecilia sacrificed herself, using her sacred blood to neutralize a massive amount of Honkai energy. Siegfried, with the help of Welt Yang's Herrscher of Reason core, unleashed the Judgement mode of the Divine Key, Might of An-Utu, delivering the final blow to the Second Herrscher's core.
At that moment, Otto, who was back at Schicksal HQ, determined that Siegfried's power could not be controlled and, in order to cover up the truth, launched Honkai Fission Missiles at Siberia to kill him.
Having lost too much blood, Cecilia ordered the Divine Key, Black Abyss White Flower, to protect Siegfried before going to find Sirin. In the end, she vanished along with Sirin in the light of the fission missiles.
The severely wounded Siegfried was recovered by Anti-Entropy. Upon learning his wife had been killed, he became completely disillusioned with Schicksal. In the year 2006, with Theresa's help, he stormed Schicksal's headquarters in an attempt to leave with his daughter.
However, their plan had already been discovered by Overseer Otto Apocalypse. Siegfried barely managed to escape with Kiana's clone, K423, while the real Kiana was retrieved by Schicksal.
Due to his deteriorating physical condition, the strengthening of Schicksal's defenses, and the weakening of his helper Theresa's authority, Siegfried lost the power to reclaim his daughter.
He, who had always been a hero, made the most foolish decision of his life.
He bestowed the name "Kiana" upon K423, the one who had always accompanied and cared for him.
Kiana had everything stolen from her by Sirin, and Sirin became Kiana's replacement.

The young man with eyes nearly the color of gold walked down the corridor of a special research institute, accompanied by the maid named Rita.
"What's wrong, Captain?"
The former S-rank Valkyrie, who was following closely beside him, smiled. "You were just confessed to by Lady Wendy yesterday. Shouldn't you be a little happier about something like that? Lady Wendy is a top-class beauty, is she not?"
This scummy maid, a kindred spirit to Li Zihan in many ways, casually draped an arm over his shoulder, teasing him. "Shouldn't you be in a better mood after such a wonderful night?"
"That's one thing, this is another."

The side quests would be to deal with the Beast of Pity, Goetia, and the Beast of Regression, Tiamat, and then prepare to face the Alien God that would pop up from who knows where.
To be honest, accomplishing all these tasks within a limited time frame was a considerable headache even for Li Zihan. Otherwise, he would have definitely tried to bring Wendy along. It was a huge loss not to keep such a wonderful girl by his side.
"Frankly, right now I have half a mind to tie Otto and Siegfried together and launch them into space to be shoulder-to-shoulder with the sun."
It was the truth.
Those two geniuses had created a mountain of problems.

Li Zihan rolled his eyes and, under the scummy maid's deeply regretful gaze, continued down the corridor.
