Chapter 2 - 02. His Other Side

Ava went back to hurling after calling his name and he continued to hold her hair and rub her back. She eventually stopped puking her guts out so she just lay on the toilet seat and rested her head on her hands, Eric flushed the toilet for her.

While Ava was collecting herself Eric stopped rubbing her back and then started patting her to a certain rhythm. She stood up and stared at Eric for a beat then she walked out the stall.

"My shoes are now disgusting!" he exclaimed playfully. Ava didn't do anything or respond instead she watched as Eric took off his shoes and throw them in a bin.

"What are you doing here?" she figured that she should ask straight on. Was she nervous? Yes, she was slowly feeling the urge to pee.

"Making sure you're okay." He smiled showing only his upper teeth. Ava felt a chill run down her spine.

"I'm going to leave now." Ava slowly pointed to the door and then started walking to it's direction but then she remembered to rinse her mouth.

She bent over and drank from the tap, suddenly when she stood up to play with the water inside her mouth she felt somebody enveloping her into a back hug.

She immediately lost it and sprayed the mirror with the water from her mouth. She turned back and pushed him off of herself and he hit the wall of the stalls pretty hard.

Ava picked up her bag and ran out of there. She ran and ran until she almost accidentally ran into a waiter carrying food. She stopped on her tracks and realized it is better to walk but she must walk fast. She finally got out of that place and now she was outside gagging and feeling nauseated, so she took a break so that she doesn't hurl again.

She didn't think she took that much time to gather herself but somehow Eric caught up to her and started dragging her by her hand. Ava could have won the struggle if only she was focusing but she wasn't because she couldn't believe that Eric's hand could actually grip her entire wrist so good. It was just a discovery and it amazed her and she didn't know why.

Eric shoved her into his car and then he backed up then he started driving. Ava came to and turned her face straight at his direction then asked, "where are you taking me?"

"You're going to buy me new shoes." He answered nonchalantly.

"I don't have money to buy you new shoes!" she yelled.

"Don't you have a credit card?" he slightly faced her.

"I do! But only for emergencies. AND THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY!!" she screamed because she wasn't feeling safe being in his car.

Eric immediately stopped the car and looked at her, "this is an emergency, you ruined my favorite shoes of the season." He then slid his finger underneath her chin and caressed it. Ava pulled her face away, leaving Eric smirking.

"I make you nervous, don't I?" he placed his hand on her thigh.

"Ahhh!!" Ava screamed and almost jumped out of her seat.

"Sorry, thought it was the gearshift." He winked at her and started driving again.

They got to the nearby mall and found some pretty good but expensive shoe stores and those were the only one Eric would try.

"You have an entire closet for shoes and yet you still make me pay for more of your shoes. Ones you don't even need." Ava was busy cursing him under her breath and Eric seemed amused by that fact.

They finally reached the last shoe store and as Eric looked for a pair he liked Ava quietly followed him around because she knew she didn't belong here and she might embarrass herself so as of right now being close to Eric was her safe place.

"So what are your plans after this?" Ava snapped out of the trance of looking around.

"I'm meeting my best friend for drinks." She didn't want to tell him anything but letting him know that she had plans felt like she was bragging that a fat girl like her can also go out.

"Ohh…" he released an abrupt laugh, "Paige right?" he nodded his head indicating that he still remembered her.

"How is she by the way?" Ava wasn't interested in this topic.

"Have you found the shoes you want yet?" she sounded impatient.

"Are there going to be guys on this little outing of yours?" his tone had changed when he asked this question. He wasn't feigning kindness anymore.

"Probably." The words escaped her mouth as she was zoned out but she immediately realized what she said and quickly placed her hands on her mouth shutting herself up. She didn't want to deal with him asking, 'ohh do fat girls also get dates and date?' while he is mocking her.

Ava looked at her enemy waiting for him to drag her through hell with his words but all she got was dark stare. Eric's whole demeanor had changed which is near giving Ava a heart attack because he has shown many sides today and each one is scarier than the last because she doesn't know what will come next and how to respond.

Eric got quite and serious as he finally tried on the last shoes that they gave him and he seemed to like them according to her observation but what the hell would she know?

"Go wait in the line and pay for these, I got to go somewhere." He shoved the shoes on to her hands and practically ran out the store.

Ava was scared shitless, she reached for her credit cards and started counting on how much she can put on each credit card so that she can afford the shoes. Her money wouldn't even reach fifty percent of her debt.

She waited to checkout while looking out for Eric. She thought she could make a deal with him by letting him pay for the shoes now and then she can refund him later with instalments. She looked out some more as her turn to check out was near but Eric was nowhere to be found.

Wait! Ava's mind suddenly screamed. What if Eric was getting his friend so that they can come watch and laugh at her when she tries to pay for the shoes but fails.

What if he has left her here and has already gone home, just making her wait for nothing.

What was he planning? Was he going to humiliate her some more?

'Ohh my god!' her mind screamed again.

This is a mall and all malls have restaurants and places you just can eat and hang out at. Was he going to make her eat another batch of heart attack on a plate? She remembered her surroundings. Front opposite of this shoe store is a dessert place. Four stores down the left of the shop is a pizza place and then three shops up the right side of the shop is a snack shop.

Her eyes widened and her heart rate slowly climbed the roof and she was rooted on the spot while her legs were shaking.

"Can you please move along!" somebody woke her up from her nightmare. She quickly thought of an idea and it was a good one.

She put the shoes down and walked out of that shop as fast paced as possible without looking suspicious.

While she was looking back as she exited the shop she bumped into Eric, he caught her into a hug.

"Where are my shoes?" He asked with a sweet tone. Ava didn't respond, everything was just shocking and he was scaring her more than usual.

"My feet are cold and I need my shoes, so where are they?" Eric squished Ava's cheeks in between his palms and used a baby voice when asking her.

Ava, without looking back because shock had left her staring into Eric's eyes, she pointed to the direction of the shoes, "the-" she couldn't finish the sentence.

Seeing her struggle Eric turned her around and said, "lead the way." He then continued to rest his hands on her shoulders and follow her closely.

Ava wanted this to end so she grabbed the shoes again and got in the line then said nothing facing forward.

"Do you think that cashier is hot?" he whispered right into her ear blowing hot air and Ava tried her best to not respond to neither his question nor the fact that he just blew hot air into one of her most sensitive parts.

"I think she's hot but you're more sexy." Then he kissed her cheek and stood up straight.

Ava whipped her head back to look at him with shock and surprise but then he turned her head to the cashier's direction as she was saying 'next'

The shoes were scanned and Ava took a deep breath before looking at the price. Eric didn't look at the price when he shops, he's a rich kid.

When she opened her eyes all she heard was, "thank you." With a smile from Eric to the cashier after he paid for the shoes.

"Are you going to want your money back?" she asked.

"No."

"Are you going to say I owe you a favor or something in return for the shoes?"

"No."

"Then what?" she was feeling a bit frustrated.

"Don't you know that if you buy your lover shoes then they will walk away? I don't ever want to walk away." Ava blinked slowly and swallowed a huge lump on her throat seeing Eric smile so brightly at her instead of a that malicious smile and the mocking laugh.

He was different right now, she could tell and she could feel it and it scared the shit out of her. Her bladder was full and it wanted to explode while her gut was bloated and wanted to release air but she was holding it in. All of this holding in had her eyes watering and her body feel like it wasn't under her control.

She had so much to say but she realized if she said them then that would mean that she had to spend more time with Eric and she really wasn't about to do that to herself.

"You got your shoes and I learned my lesson so let's part ways here." She slightly smiled and then turned to leave but Eric pulled her back by her hair.

"I dragged you here so I will take you home besides the taxi fare from here to your house is definitely going to make you sick." Ava kept quite, right now she wanted to punch him straight in the jaw but he was invincible. She followed him back to the car and didn't say anything.

"I like these shoes, I'm going to treasure them." As he was saying that his hand was reaching for her thigh so Ava faced away from him and scooted to the corner as much as she could.

Eric dropped her off at home and handed her some medicine. Ava looked up at him her eyes already asking him what it was for?

"They are nausea medication, very strong so only drink them when you actually need them." He went to touch her hand but Ava pulled her hand back causing the meds to fall down.

After holding everything in for an entire day this one gesture would undo all her strength and she will piss, shit and vomit all over herself in front of this guy if he doesn't disappear from her sight. He picked up the medication and reached for her hand then placed the medication in her hands.

"No!" Ava yelled and started running towards her house, she ran and ran and then when she got to the door of her house she suddenly pissed herself. She couldn't hold it in anymore. She buried her face in her hands as she let her bladder release all the piss.

"Are you pissing at the door?" her brother opened the door to find her reliving herself.

"I'm stressed! Okay?" she finished and shook herself off like a dog before entering the house. Now Ava wasn't one to wear pants or skirts. She wore big dresses that hid her entire body. She wore t-shirt dresses sometimes on weekends when she was going out with her best friend just to show a little leg and feel beautiful. She also never wore any kind of boots or heels, she always wore running shoes or morning shoes also flip flops an crocs so all she had to do was take off her shoes at the door and then walk upstairs to rinse herself off.

She came out her room after she had changed her clothes, "afternoon snack." Her brother was excited.

"Not today." She answered gagging. Right now she couldn't think about food. Every time food is mentioned she remembers this morning.

"What's wrong sweetie?" he asked sweetly.

"Nothing I'm just not feeling good. Might still be the consequences of the weekend." What did she do on the weekend? She partied so hard that she blacked out four times.

"I saw that you bought meds, have you taken them yet." Her brother was agreeing with her on the matter that she might still be paying for the past weekend.

"No it's just anti-nausea meds, ill be fine." She wasn't going to be fine, she lying.

Her brother shook his head and walked to the bathroom and came out holding the meds, "you're taking them and I'm not taking no for an answer." He spoke as he poured water into a glass and handed it to her with the meds.

Ava had no choice but to take the meds because if she doesn't her brother will not go to work and then he won't get the money he was supposed to get tonight and then their budget will be short with the money from this shift. Now it's not a must that he has to go to work but he took the shift because they needed the money.

Her brother left after she took the medication and Ava didn't feel any different until thirty minutes later when her stomach started growling an then she ran to the toilet. She took a big shit and it stank. Then after five minutes nature called again and she thought she was passing a kidney stone. After another two minutes she had to go again and it went on and on until she finally realized that what Eric had given her was laxative instead of anti-nausea meds.

"ERIC!!!!"
