Kimi's frown deepened as she stared at Kolton's silhouette in the darkness. "What are you doing in my house?"
His arms crossed over his chest, but he remained silent. The moonlight streaming through the partially closed blinds cast shadows across his imposing frame, making it impossible to read his expression.
"Where is everyone?" she demanded.
A heavy sigh escaped his lips. "Alvin is asleep in his room."
"And my parents? How did they just let you stay here?"
Kolton moved away from the pillar, his footsteps deliberate as he closed the distance between them. Kimi stood her ground, refusing to back down.
"For your information, this entire territory belongs to my pack."
"That doesn't give you the right. This house isn't yours."
"No," he agreed, stopping directly in front of her. "But the gamma who lives in this house belongs to me."
