"Aron, Harden!" Aqing commanded.

Aron's exterior shimmered with a silvery gleam, making it feel incredibly sturdy and robust.

In real combat, it's not like in games where Pokémon stand still, taking turns with attacks.

Here, there's ample space and area, so directing battles is much more challenging than usual.

However, after being boosted by Harden, Aron's defense was more than sufficient against Arbok.

Arbok coiled its body, flicked its tongue, and opened its large mouth, spraying countless purple poison stings.

"Rock Tomb!" Aqing promptly gave the order. Although Aron was not afraid of the poison stings.

The poison stings, however, might cause Aron's already bumpy metal exterior to become even more pitted.

Giant rocks burst from the ground, successfully blocking every single poison sting onto their massive surfaces.

The rocks were densely covered with purple-black poison stings, gleaming brilliantly under the sun.

"Metal Claw!" Aron then made a short dash. The sunlight reflecting off Aron's silvery exterior was a bit dazzling.

Before Arbok could even react, two metal claws directly slashed into Arbok's body.

Arbok cried out in pain.

Arbok immediately coiled tightly around Aron, opening its terrifying mouth, ready to swallow Aron whole.

"Aron, continue Metal Claw!" The glow of Metal Claw shone, and Arbok was almost torn in half by Aron's claws.

One of its poisonous fangs, upon biting Aron's head, snapped with a crack, breaking into two.

Arbok, originally a bully that picked on the weak, saw that Aron was a tough opponent it couldn't handle.

Ignoring its bleeding wounds, Arbok scrambled and scurried into the jungle, disappearing in a flash.

"What a pity," Aqing had originally intended to defeat Arbok directly.

Arbok's blood is non-toxic and more effective for taming Zubat. Additionally, Arbok's shed skin is a valuable medicinal ingredient, a rare commodity in the black market.

Aqing saw that this Arbok was in the process of shedding its skin, but unfortunately, Aron's speed was still a step too slow.

"However, this is the real treasure Arbok left behind."

Aqing looked at the densely packed, unsettling poison stings on the rock, a joyful smile appearing on his face.

Aqing used the large leaves of broadleaf plants to pluck out the poison stings that were tightly embedded in the rock, one by one.

Aqing counted these poison stings; there were a total of 25. These poison stings would become a powerful weapon for Aqing against wild Pokémon.

Aqing carefully collected the poison stings and washed the fish that had fallen to the ground with water. Then, he had Aron use Rock Tomb repeatedly.

Several large fish were knocked out of the water by the rocks.

Aqing directly gutted and cleaned the fish that had been forced out of the water, then threaded them together through their mouths with a vine, carrying them in his hand.

Aqing, carrying the pitcher plant filled with fish blood, and with Aron, picked a few more Oran Berries before heading towards the cave.

"Thankfully, the bonfire hasn't gone out." When Aqing left, he had added a pile of branches, saving him the trouble of having the hard-earned bonfire extinguished due to insufficient fuel.

Aqing directly threaded the fish from head to tail with a branch, placing them beside the bonfire to roast. The bonfire crackled as it burned the branches, and crimson flames leaped upwards, sparks scattering around.

Aqing picked up a pile of damp branches from the surrounding forest and stacked them deep inside the cave, intending to use the bonfire's heat to dry them as much as possible.

Otherwise, damp branches would not only be difficult to ignite but also produce choking black smoke.

"Sizzle sizzle sizzle" The fish Aqing caught from the lake were extremely plump.

Drops of golden oil seeped from the fish's surface and slid off, dripping into the fire with a sizzling sound.

Aqing squeezed the juice from the Oran Berries onto the roasted fish, adding a sweet and sour flavor to substitute for seasoning.

Aron sat quietly beside Aqing, still as a rock.

Aron's eyes were fixed on the roasted fish before it, and as it sniffed the inviting aroma, its drool was almost overflowing.

By the time Aqing finished all of this, it was almost night. A bright moon quietly rose, casting its gentle moonlight.

Many wild Pokémon were active late at night, making rustling sounds.

"Almost done roasting." When living in the wild, it's best to cook food thoroughly, otherwise, it can easily lead to problems like diarrhea.

"It's ready." Aqing placed the roasted fish on a broadleaf plant.

"Be careful, it's hot." Aron eagerly took a bite of the roasted fish, but immediately spit it out, scalded.

Aqing chuckled wryly, blowing on the roasted fish to cool it down, then handed it back to Aron.

While Aron was feasting, Aqing, after eating a small portion, couldn't eat any more; he truly didn't have much of an appetite.

Aron, on the other hand, had a great appetite, finishing all the remaining roasted fish and munching on several Oran Berries.

Aron, full and satisfied, lay down by the side of the cave to rest.

Aqing's next task was to gather materials for making Poffins.

For others, making Poffins might be a very difficult task.

The precise ratio for each Poffin, the time required for making them, and the quality of the ingredients were all closely related to the Poffins' effectiveness.

However, for Aqing, a former Pokémon Breeder Master, it was not difficult at all.

As long as he had the corresponding Poffin recipes, Aqing could create Poffins of perfect quality.

One could say that the reappearance of his previous life's cheat system gave Aqing a huge advantage.

Moreover, the system could also provide Poffin recipes that perfectly matched a Pokémon's potential, based on its aptitude.

The system could assist a Pokémon's growth in the best possible way without wasting their talents.
