The Chapter get Retranslated
While the Pokémon were out training, Qingwu quickly prepared to make a new batch of Pokéblocks.
The previous low-grade Pokéblocks were no longer effective for Zubat and Aron.
Qingwu needed to prepare Pokéblocks tailored to the physiques of Zubat and Aron separately.
Qingwu meticulously sorted the required Berries. As a Pokémon Breeding Master, Qingwu could tell the weight of a Berry just by weighing it in his hand.
Qingwu washed each Berry thoroughly with spring water and laid them out in the sun to dry.
Otherwise, too much moisture in the Berries would make it impossible to precisely control the ratio of each ingredient, affecting the quality of the Pokéblocks. The resulting Pokéblocks would either fail or be less effective.
For Qingwu, who strictly controlled the quality of Pokéblocks, any flaw in the finished product was unacceptable.
Qingwu took out a finely crafted wooden knife and wooden board, peeled and cored the Berries that needed to be chopped, cut them into suitable small pieces, and mashed them in a large wooden bowl.
These were all simple tools made by Qingwu, but for a breeding expert like him, simple tools were sufficient.
After mashing the Berries, Qingwu added herbs and ground them again, turning the Berries and herbs into a fine, granular fruit-herb paste.
Qingwu placed this fruit-herb paste into a wooden barrel wrapped in layers of gauze, carefully squeezed out the juice, and filtered it several times.
Once the juice became clear and translucent, Qingwu began stirring it continuously.
With the aid of the system, not only was the stirring speed directly projected, but even the stirring time was perfectly precise.
Finally, Qingwu poured the juice into a container, waiting for two hours for it to cool and solidify into jelly-like Pokéblocks.
After completing these, Qingwu took out the raw materials again. This time, he intended to make Pokéblocks specifically for detoxification.
After all, there were many Poison-type Pokémon on this Trial Island.
By the time the two little ones flew back, Qingwu had already exhausted all the materials in his bracelet, transforming them into countless Pokéblocks.
"These Pokéblocks should last for a while," Qingwu muttered.
Just then, Zubat and Aron flew back. Aron used Rock Throw in front of Qingwu.
Countless earthy-yellow rocks fell from the sky, landing in front of Qingwu.
"I didn't expect you to spontaneously learn Rock Throw after going out!"
Qingwu patted Aron's cute little head and laughed happily.
Aron was quite proud. While Zubat was carrying it in flight, it suddenly felt that Rock Tomb could also be used in the air, as long as Rock-type energy was used in the air.
Aron practiced a few times and independently mastered the Rock Throw move.
Aron's small seat was also filled with materials Aron had found.
Big Root, Miracle Seed... and even some scattered Evolution Stone fragments.
Although there were no complete Evolution Stones, they could still be exchanged for quite a few points.
In these three days, Qingwu lived the most peaceful days with Aron and Zubat.
Every day, Zubat would take Aron flying from the cave towards the sky, and Aron's bell-like voice would occasionally echo from above.
Now, both Aron and Zubat had undergone earth-shattering changes.
Zubat's wings were strong and powerful, like drawn blades. With proper nutrition, its body size had doubled.
Aron's appearance was also smooth and shiny, and its volume had more than doubled compared to before.
Aron's favorite activity every day was using Rock Tomb to dig out treasures buried deep underground.
By now, Aron's foundation was almost completely strengthened.
Qingwu saw that the luster of Aron's dark green aptitude even contained hints of azure.
Zubat had also grown accustomed to constantly using the Tailwind move, turning it into a passive ability and forming muscle memory.
As soon as the effect of one Tailwind stopped, another Tailwind would begin.
Qingwu's physical state also improved steadily. His originally gaunt cheeks had filled out considerably, and paired with his strong nose, long, slightly curly eyelashes, and deep, dark eyes, he looked even more radiant and handsome.
The entire cave was also filled with countless precious herbs, which Qingwu had made into medicine pouches and carried on him, emitting a unique fragrance.
The ground of the entire cave had been carefully covered by Qingwu with dried, soft turf, and he had also made a wooden table and wooden chairs.
Qingwu also wove a small nest for Zubat in the top of the cave using vines, covering it with soft turf and dried herbs.
This allowed Zubat, after a day of training, to quickly fall into a state of sleep and replenish its stamina.
There were many Pokémon populations nearby, and Qingwu had used three days to draw a simple map.
Around the forest were Beautifly populations, Pidgeotto populations, and Arbok populations. Among them, Pidgeotto and Arbok were natural enemies of Beautifly.
However, Beautifly's reproduction rate was also higher than that of Pidgeotto and Arbok, thus maintaining a delicate balance.
Qingwu's goal today was to observe the Pidgeotto population and see if there were any high-aptitude Pidgeotto that could be exchanged for corresponding points.
This Trial Island was quite large, and of course, many Pokémon lived there, but these Pokémon were all protected by their populations.
With only two Pokémon, Qingwu could not afford to provoke these populations yet.
However, it was strange that Qingwu had not encountered any Trial Participants.
Qingwu lived alone in the forest for a while. During this time, Qingwu didn't even see a wisp of distant cooking smoke.
Walking through the forest grass, Qingwu unexpectedly discovered today that several Trial Participants seemed to be searching for something.
"Everyone, look around. There's a rare Green Pokémon nearby."
A plump Trial Participant shouted loudly, as if he were the leader of the group.
"Pang-ge, are you sure it's a Green-level Pokémon?" a skinny-faced Trial Participant asked doubtfully.
"Of course! This is information I got from my brother, how could it be fake?" Pang-ge said proudly.
Pang-ge also held a piece of parchment with the outline of the Pokémon drawn on it.
Qingwu happened to glance at the Pokémon's outline on the parchment: it was a Bellsprout.
"A Bellsprout with Green aptitude." Qingwu's heart stirred. Even if he didn't use this Pokémon himself, it would be excellent for exchanging resources.
Qingwu thought to himself, when rustling sounds came from the grass nearby.
A drooling Bellsprout, with a yellow head like a trumpet, small black eyes, and walking on root-like legs, staggered out.
After scanning it with the system, Qingwu immediately got the Bellsprout's information: it was indeed the Bellsprout with Green aptitude.
However, this Bellsprout was injured, emitting white smoke from its body, looking as if it had been directly hit by a corrosive move.
"Go, Poké Ball." A free Pokémon was a free Pokémon, so Qingwu immediately made his move, snatching it first and placing the Poké Ball containing the Bellsprout on his bracelet.
Qingwu cautiously retreated, quietly leaving the forest before the fat man and his group noticed him.
However, Qingwu didn't know why, but he kept encountering Trial Participants today, including Lanling, whom he had just met.
Lanling was holding a small Smoochum in her arms and was also searching for something.
