"Ugh," Adam groaned as he woke up to find himself alone in bed.
"How long was I out?" He muttered to no one in particular while stretching.
{You have been asleep for nearly twelve hours.} Spector suddenly said in his mind.
"Twelve hours?" Adam said in surprise as his arms froze mid-air in the middle of his stretch before asking, "Why is it so much longer than previously?"
{I speculate it's the combination of your recent upgrade operation and the fact that you woke up previously before going back to sleep.}
"Any idea why I woke up before?"
{I'm afraid I am unable to answer that. Sometimes an individual's body does things even I can't predict or rationalise.}
"I see," Adam replied as he stretched again before standing up and heading into the ensuite bathroom to take a shower.
"Morning," Adam said as he left the master bedroom to find that Lorelie was alone in the living room watching the latest newscast.
"Good morning, you slept for a long time, are you ok?" Lorelie asked with a look of concern.
"I'm fine," Adam replied as he sat down on the sofa next to her and gave her a quick kiss, which she happily accepted before he continued.
"It's likely because I have only just had the upgrade operation before Stacey fed on me."
"You should have warned her."
"I didn't know, as far as I could tell, my body was perfectly fine after I woke from the operation." Adam replied before asking, "Where is everyone?"
"Tephe is still in bed. She came back late after exploring with Eri.
Diva Aphrodite left shortly after you went back to bed; she said she had something she needed to do.
Rowena and Stacey have gone out together, honestly, I think Rowena wanted some alone time with Stacey to try and rebuild their relationship."
"I see. Do you know if Diva Aphrodite managed to negotiate with Jessie yet?"
"She did, Stacey called her not long after you went back to bed and accidentally woke her up in the middle of the night, I tell you, that Jessie has no filter," Lorelie said with an amused smile.
"You should see her when she gets a blaster in her hands, she's nuts," Adam said, causing them both to chuckle before Lorelie shifted position slightly and found a comfortable position to lean against Adam before saying.
"I sent Becky a message earlier requesting a meeting with Princess Tessa about purchasing Royal Entertainment. She just got back to me, saying that the Princess is happy to meet you and they will let us know when, once they arrive on planet."
"That's good," Adam replied.
"Speaking of Diva Aphrodite and Jessie's negotiations, Aphrodite is very open to the idea of becoming one of the VR porn actresses…"
"VR porn?" Adam asked in surprise as he heard the unusual term.
"Yeah, it's a name that came up during the discussions and just stuck."
"Well, it makes sense, it is virtual reality porn in the end." Adam acknowledged.
"Well, anyway, she's more than happy to join, especially after Jessie explained everything to her; however, there is a problem."
"The Trillion EMP blast, right? I'm guessing it fried all the recording equipment." Adam guessed.
"Correct, though Jessie and Susan have tried getting replacements, porn recording equipment is not on the TISF's list of essential equipment."
"Understandable, so I guess the project is on hold for now?"
"Yes and no, Stacey came up with the idea of using Royal Entertainment's recording equipment, should you be able to purchase it.
With this, they will be able to record in higher quality, and Aphrodite said she can help get more actors and actresses."
"I see, that makes sense, also it would be good to get more top quality actors and actresses as they will increase sales," Adam replied.
"I think there might even be the possibility of signing Aphrodite in the future once her contract runs out, if all goes well," Lorelie said happily before her smile turned into a look of curiosity, and she started to fidget slightly before she finally asked.
"So errr… When Stacey fed on you, I happened to see her wings grow slightly larger, and some of her black hair turned red."
"Oh?" Adam replied with a small smile.
"Aphrodite mentioned this last night, but Stacey denied any knowledge of it happening; however, I'm sure I witnessed it myself."
"How did Diva Aphrodite see it?" Adam asked curiously.
"So it actually happened?" Lorelie asked in surprise.
"Yes, I will tell you why in a moment, but first I need to know why Aphrodite knows and if this will be a problem," Adam said as his tone turned serious.
Lorelie wasn't sure why, but her body gave a slight shiver of excitement when Adam spoke like that. Maybe it was because she knew that he was only like that out of concern for one of them.
"Succuba apparently have the ability to spy on people who are being intimate, however, only over a short distance. Something to do with using the hormones our bodies release."
"I see, should we be concerned?"
"I don't think so. She didn't seem to fully believe what she saw herself and Stacey's denial of the whole thing seems to have put an end to the topic."
"Well, that's good," Adam said as he gave a small sigh of relief.
"So are you going to explain it to me or not?" Lorelie asked with a pout as she pinched Adam's leg.
"Ow, ok, ok," Adam said as he grabbed her hand to stop it from pinching his leg and held it gently before asking, "What I'm about to tell you very few people in the universe apparently know, honestly, I'm not even sure I should be talking to you about it without Stacey or Rowena here. Can you promise me you wont mention this to anyone other than us three when we are alone?"
"Of course," Lorelie replied as her curiosity grew.
"Have you ever heard of something called Pureblood?"
"Pureblood?" Lorelie replied as she thought for a moment before shaking her head and asking, "No, what is it?"
"From what Rowena told me and Stacey, it's a very rare type of blood that I have," Adam replied before going on to tell Lorelie everything he knew about Pureblood.
"It's changing Stacey, and she's becoming more Brood and less Terran?" Lorelie asked in shock.
"Apparetly. That's why you saw a bit of her hair change colour and her wings grow slightly bigger."
"I've never heard of such a thing before," Lorelie said in amazement.
"That's because the Brood Progenitor ordered the entire thing to be covered up in case some Brood got the idea to hunt Terrans to make themselves stronger. Luckily, the Terran blood no longer affects Brood in that way anymore."
"Wow," Lorelie gasped in amazement.
"Now you understand why I asked you to never speak of this to anyone but us."
"Yes, I promise I wont, thank you for trusting me with this information," Lorelie said with a smile.
"You're my woman. If I can't trust you, who can I trust?" Adam replied, giving Lorelie a warm, fuzzy feeling when he called her 'his woman'.
"We received some information about the charity match," Lorelie said, deciding it was best to change the subject lest her instincts take over, which were telling her to fuck him senseless right now.
"What about it?" Adam asked curiously.
"It turns out that Prime likely has the information relating to the charity match."
"But I thought it was purposefully being kept a secret?" Adam asked in a confused tone.
"It was and still is, unfortunately, one of the UMB Cup's committee members, gave up the information to Diva Aphrodite."
"Why would they give it up to her?" Adam asked.
"Aparently, Diva Aphrodite owed a debt to Counciler Aimi," Lorelie replied before explaining the situation to Adam.
