Chapter 327 - Chapter 327: Wedding present discussion

[HackerSu (Trillion): 352 different sound combinations? Wow]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): That's kinda crazy.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Hahaha, she's so far off the mark it's not even funny.]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): I know, right?]

[HackerSu (Trillion): Wait, are you saying it's less?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Nooo, it's more, way more.]

[HackerSu (Trillion): What!]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): The number of sounds a piano can make is almost countless.]

[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Countless?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Yes, each pedal doesn't just change the tone of the note, but much more. Also, the sound each key creates can be altered depending on how hard or soft you press that specific key.]

[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Seriously?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Ok, that's way beyond crazy, that's insane.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): How did your race even come up with such an instrument?]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): You must be extremely talented to be able to play such an instrument.]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): To play it, you just have to practice, like anything. However, to play it well and be one of the greats takes something special.

There have been many great Pianists throughout history, but probably the most famous was Wolfgang Mozart.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Pianist?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): It's the name given to those who can play the piano.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Ah, ok, so why was this Wolfgang Mozart so famous?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Because of how much of a child prodigy he was. At age 5, he composed his first piece, at 8 he created his first symphony, and at 11 he composed his first opera. During his 35-year life, he composed over 600 works.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): WTF!!!!!]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): I call bullshit.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): 600 works? If he only composed for 30 years, that averages 20 works a year, OMG!]

[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Why did he die so young?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Probably because medical knowledge back then was very basic. He died in 1791, that's 234 years ago.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): That's incredible. Child prodigies like that are rare even in the known universe with all its planets.]

As the chat discussed Mozart and other famous Pianists. Adam left the mess hall and headed for the shuttle bay where Spector Unit 6 was stored.

💫💫💫

"Thank you for the insightfulness, Raella," Honcho said.

You're welcome. I honestly can't wait to see what other instruments Diva Lorelie has discovered as part of the new genre." Raella said in excitement.

"I don't ever remember hearing that Diva Lorelie could play an instrument, though," Honcho said thoughtfully.

"Neither can I," Raella confirmed.

"Well, I guess it's just another part of the mystery surrounding Diva Lorelie's new genre of music," Honcho said with a smile before turning to his other guest, Dulaebella Leadborn and saying jokingly, "Don't worry, Dulaebella, I haven't forgotten about you."

"I didn't think you had. I enjoyed listening to Raella's explanation and can't wait for Diva Lorelie to visit the Galaminer Galaxy," Dulaebella replied.

"Well, we will be needing your expertise soon as the charity match is due to begin shortly," Honcho said before asking, "So what can we expect from the charity match and do you have any inside knowledge of the match type which the UMB Cup committee have kept secret until now?"

"I have been able to dig up a small bit of information thanks to my sources," Dulaebella replied.

"Oh? Do tell," Honcho said with interest.

"Well, according to my sources, the new match type incorporates several different existing match types."

"Several different existing, you mean like merging them together? Is that possible?" Honcho asked with confusion.

"Not merging them, no, more along the lines of transitioning from one type to another," Dulaebella explained.

"Ah, I see," Honcho nodded before asking, "And do we know what match types they will use?"

"Unfortunately, not. The only other piece of information I have been able to gather is that the last section of the match is something very special and something we have never seen before."

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): What sort of expert is this? She doesn't know anything? Also, look how small she is, is she sitting on a booster seat or some shit? Kekeke.]

[Animefangirl (Earth): You got a problem with small people dickhead? 😡]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Oh! Small viewer in chat.]

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): I know, right? 🫸]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): 🫷]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): These fucking idiots, just ignore them, Animefangirl. Also, the reason she's so small is because she's a Dwarfinian.]

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Dwarf is right. 🫸]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): My man.🫷]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Oi fucktards, you're taking the piss out of my race. Want me to test my new weapon on you both?]

[HackerSu (Trillion): They're so going to get killed by a Dwarfinian, aren't they?]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): 😮‍💨 Probably.]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Changing the topic before someone actually does get killed. The reason Dulaebella doesn't know anything about the charity match is that the UMB Cup committee has kept it a secret in order to build up hype.]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): So what you're saying is the streamer is going into this match not knowing what to expect?]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Correct, along with all the other competitors.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Don't worry, my man can handle it.]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Your man, you probably wont ever get to meet him since he will probably never return to Earth.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): A girl can dream, can't she. Earth doesn't have any men that can compare to the streamer.]

[CEOHopkins (Earth): I 100% agree with you on this, Gunlovergirl.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): You do?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): That's surprising, as far as I'm aware, you have many powerful and influential suitors wanting your hand in marriage, Miss Hopkins.]

[CEOHopkins (Earth): Bah, they don't want me, they want my money and businesses. 😡]

[OfficialMuriel (Aqua Primus): I can attest to this; they only want me because of my fame in Watersphere and the credits I made playing it.]

[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): I am constantly getting marriage proposals because of my position as Empress and the power I wield. Honestly, why is it so hard to find a man who likes me for me? 😮‍💨]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Amen, sister.]

[CEOHopkins (Earth): It seems men are all the same no matter where you go in the universe.]

[All the women in the chat: +1]

[MercheadAnderson (Palaxia): Errr, babe, you know I'm also in the chat, right?]

[Lizziethetruepower (Palalxia): And?]

[MercheadAnderson (Palaxia): 😭]

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Sucks to be this guy. Kekeke.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Cough, cough. Errr, ladies, I believe we are getting off topic. Also, I would just like to note that not every woman in the chat is single and interested in the streamer, just look at NonpareilRaphilia.]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Who says I'm not interested in the streamer?]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Errrr, isn't it like widely known that you and your husband are still madly in love even after being married for over 700 years?]

[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): 700 years? 😱]

[Emojisonly (Earth): 😱]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Wow, girl, congrats.]

[CEOHopkins (Earth): Congratulations.]

[Animefangirl (Earth): What do you even get someone for their 700th anniversary, and does that have a name?]

[CEOHopkins (Earth): You mean like how a 60th anniversary is Diamond?]

[Animefangirl (Earth): Yeah, I think the highest it goes is 80, which is Oak, right?]

[Superhearofangirl (Earth): Hmmm, maybe Moon, or Planet… oh oh oh, how about the Sun?]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): You want someone to gift you the Sun? 😵‍💫]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Nah, the Sun's too big for 700.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): At least someone is sensible. 😮‍💨]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): It needs to be 1000.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): I spoke too soon. 😭]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): What are you Earthlings even on about? Also, yes me my husband and I are still in love, thank you.]

[Superhearofangirl (Earth): Were talking about wedding anniversary gifts. Don't you races do that?]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Then why are you interested in the streamer? Are you trying to make your husband jealous?]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Gah, one topic at a time. No, Malacoss, I'm not trying to make him jealous. My interest in the streamer is for a completely different reason.

No, Superhearofangirl, we don't do that. What sort of custom is that?]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Oh? What sort of reason?]

[Superhearofangirl (Earth): It's an Earth custom where we celebrate people's marriage to each other by giving them gifts at specific milestones, usually every five years after the 30th anniversary until the 80th.]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): How interesting, but why only until the 80th?]

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Because the couple is usually dead by then. Kekeke.]

[CEOHopkins (Earth): A very crude way to put it, but 1000yearsofdeath is correct. Earthlings, as you call us, only have an average lifespan of 73 years at present. Also, most countries don't allow people to get married until they are 18, though this figure varies from country to country.]

[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): Ah, now it makes sense.]

[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): I like this custom. Maybe I should incorporate it into my race. I'm assuming you also get a gift from your married partner?]

[CEOHopkins (Earth): You do. In fact, it's customary to buy your partner a gift every year on your anniversary, while others generally only do it in those years Superhearofangirl mentioned above.]

[Puntanghunter69Ver2 (Challenger): Hey all, I'm back.]
