"AND THREE MORE ARE GONE," Honcho yelled in excitement before continuing, "With this, we are left with only Prime Black, who is already inside the sphere.
While Speed Stone, Spector Unit Six and Excess Surplus are quickly approaching the centre of the asteroid field and the sphere.
Also, don't forget Angels Fury and Matriarchs' Right, though we haven't seen them recently, so I wouldn't blame you if you had forgotten about them."
"Angels Fury, and Matriarchs' Right, were so delayed from fighting each other and then being attacked by Spector Unit Six that they are only just approaching the section of the asteroid field where Universal Bank, Dwarfinian Pride and Eyes of Blood were just eliminated," Dulaebella stated.
"It doesn't look good for them, while Universal Bank, Dwarfinian Pride and Eyes of Blood have all been eliminated, the turrets are still operational, so I'm personally not expecting them to make it to the sphere within the allotted time," Raella said.
"Speaking of the allotted time, how long do we have left?" Honcho asked.
[[Time Remaining: 03:52]]
"Oh my, over a minute has already passed, where did that time go?" Honcho asked in surprise.
"Time always seems to move faster when you're enjoying something, doesn't it?" Raella asked with a smile before continuing, "If I'm being completely truthful, I wasn't really expecting much from this charity match after watching the ones from previous opening ceremonies; however, I'm glad to see that I was wrong."
"I agree, while the match started off dull, it has definitely livened up since the obstacles came into play," Dulaebella said in agreement.
"Well, folks, even though they haven't reached the sphere yet, I think we can safely assume who is going to the next stage," Honcho began, "While they are too far apart to attack each other, baring anymore unforseen surprises, Speed Stone, Spector Unit Six and Excess Surplus will be joining Prime Black within the sphere for the next stage of the charity match."
"Don't jinx then," Raella said with a smirk.
💫💫💫
"Babe, Romy's here to see you," A male voice suddenly called, causing Raphilia, who had been watching Adam's stream on a large holographic screen while relaxing on a sofa, to turn and look towards the archway that led to the main hallway of her home.
"Romy? What's she doing here?" Raphilia asked in surprise.
"Seriously, you forgot? After you invited me here to Aaru to go clothes shopping," Andromeda asked in annoyance as she entered the room.
"Oh, right, I totally forgot, sorry Romy," Raphilia replied apologetically.
"Really, Raphi, it's not like you to forget something like that. Is something troubling you?" Andromeda asked with concern.
"No, she's just addicted to this new streamer she recently found," The man's voice from before complained as it travelled into the room through the archway.
"Stop being so jealous, hunny, you know there isn't another man in the universe I want more than you," Raphilia called back while rolling her eyes.
"Hmph," Their voice replied before going quiet.
"A streamer? Since when have you been interested in streamers, and is that the UMB Cup opening ceremony?" Andromeda asked as she glanced at the large holographic screen on the wall before adding, "Why are you watching that? You have never been interested in it before. Please tell me you're not watching Prime's stream."
"No, I'm not watching Prime's stream but another, though I am surprised you know about Prime since I have never seen you show interest in streamers before," Raphilia replied.
"Bah, everyone knows they're fake, especially me, since I have seen some of their fake antics in the past when I have had my visions," Andromeda complained.
"You have seen their antics in your visions?" Raphilia asked with surprise before adding, "I thought your visions only showed you the most important events taking place at that time?"
"It was a slow day," Andromeda replied with a shrug as she sat down on the sofa next to Raphilia before continuing, "Even though the universe is supposedly infinite, it still has slow days."
"Slow days? You sound like a shop assistant who just wants to finish for the day because their day is dragging since they're not getting any customers," Raphilia replied with a bemused smile.
"So who's this streamer that's got you watching the UMB Cup opening ceremony?"
"It's..." Raphilia began to reply before realising something and asking with a disappointed look, "How did you know Prime is streaming the UMB Cup opening ceremony? Don't tell me you're actually a Prime fan and follow him."
"Progenitor no," Andromeda responded with a disgusted look before asking in an annoyed tone, "Didn't I just mention that I'm not into streamers because they're fake?"
"Ah, yeah, my bad," Raphilia said in a slightly embarrassed tone before asking, "Then how did you know?"
"Some people I follow on Xer-verse were commenting about it and how they think he cheated or something. I honestly didn't really pay much attention since it was regarding a streamer." Andromeda replied dismissively.
"Who?" Raphilia asked curiously as she pulled up Xer-verse on her uniband.
"Errrr… there was Lord Malacoss, Empress Revi, and Muriel," Andromeda replied after thinking for a moment.
"They all posted something about Prime cheating?"
"No, Muriel made the post, and I remember seeing that Lord Malacoss and Empress Revi had liked the post. Here, take a look," Andromeda responded before pulling the Xer-verse post in question up on her own uniband and showing Raphilia.
[[Ok, so as a former professional watersphere player, the thing I hate most is people who cheat in a match, and right now I'm pretty sure that's exactly what Prime is doing in the UMB Cup opening ceremonies charity match.
Can someone please explain to me how a mech makes it through an asteroid field that is supposedly filled with turrets, mines and other traps (whatever 'other' they are) without encountering a single one, while all the other competitors have all had to deal with them?
Personally, I think that trash is cheating and that he somehow got the plans for the new match type, don't ask me how he got them, as I have no idea since the whole thing was purposefully being kept quiet to try and build up hype.]]
[.. Damn straight, Muriel, this whole thing stinks.]
[.. Why else would he take that major detour at the start if he didn't have some for knowledge?]
[.. Personally, I thought he had given up and was going to go screw one of his viewers kek.]
[.. Let's face it, Prime himself is probably cheating, and his replica of the black knight doesn't compare to that other replica participating.]
[.. Seriously, how big is his ego to call his replica Black Prime?]
[.. Right, Spector Unit Six is badass, the pilot's moves are insane.]
[.. I have never seen a mech move like that before.]
"Spector Unit Six?" Andromeda asked in surprise as she read the post and comments for the first time.
"Oh, that's the name of one of the two Black Knight replicas competing in the charity match, the first is Black Prime, that's obviously being piloted by Prime, the second is Spector Unit Six, which is being piloted by Diva Lorelie's boyfriend, who also happens to be the streamer I'm currently watching," Raphilia explained.
"Currently addicted to," The male voice said again in a clearly jealous tone, causing Raphilia to roll her eyes before ignoring the voice and asking,
"Still, I can understand why you follow Lord Malacoss. I mean, you have met him in the past; however, I didn't realise you followed Empress Revi and Muriel. Why didn't you tell me you are a watersphere fan?"
"I follow Empress Revi because of a prophecy I made in the past," Andromeda replied in a tone that indicated she wasn't going to speak on that topic anymore, before continuing in a more lighthearted tone, "As for Watersphere, while I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan, I do enjoy the sport, though like everyone else I'm still waiting for the Universale Sporting Body to comment about the Oceana Abes suspicious substitution in their match against the Oasis Fangs."
"Right, I heard about that. I wonder why the Universal Sporting Body hasn't made any announcement regarding it yet."
"Yup, apparently Diva Lorelie attended the match with her now boyfriend and saw the whole thing. I'm kinda jealous."
"About which part? Watching the match when it happened or attending the match with her boyfriend?" Raphilia teased.
"Att…. attending the match, obviously," Andromeda quickly replied as she blushed in embarrassment.
"Hehe, if you say so," Raphilia said with a giggle before changing the subject and saying, "We can go shopping after the charity match is over. I want to see what crazy thing Diva Lorelie's boyfriend pulls off next."
"Crazy thing he pulls off? What do you mean?" Andromeda asked curiously as she focused on the large holographic screen showing what everyone thought was a replica of the Black Knight, while she had, in fact, already realised that it was the true Black Knight, meaning that Diva Lorelie's boyfriend was the Pureblood from the original prophecy she had given Tephe.
