Chapter 410 - Chapter 410: Sixty-nine, dude

"You're welcome, now as I was saying. Above a mate is a life mate. This is a serious life-binding agreement that two parties do not take lightly. As an example, I myself have never taken a life mate."

"Neither have I," Aphrodite added.

"Life-binding?" Adam asked before adding, "You mean like spending the rest of your life with the person until one of you passes away?"

"Yes and no. None of the races, especially the long-lived ones, commit to a life mate agreement lightly. "The agreement states that once you take someone as your life mate, you can never leave them or do anything that would harm them…."

"Except in the bedroom where she wants you to harm her," Aphrodite added as she interrupted Lorelie while licking her lips at Adam.

"Did you even need to ask that?" Rowena asked while rolling her eyes.

Before Aphrodite could reply, the elevator made a noise to say that it had arrived at their floor before the doors opened onto a long corridor.

"Let's go, we are in room number sixty-nine," Rowena said while leaving the elevator.

"Haha, sixty-nine, dude," Adam said after a chuckle.

"What?" Rowena asked in a confused tone.

"It's a saying from a film and the number sixty-nine is a running joke back on Earth," Adam replied.

"Why? It's just a number," Rowena asked.

"Because there's a sex position called sixty-nine," Adam replied while smirking.

"Oh!" Aphrodite said with interest.

"Figured you'd be interested in that, but considering your sex experience, you have probably already tried it."

"Don't be so sure, we're always finding new positions to try out," Aphrodite replied with a suggestive wink.

"Have we tried it yet?" Lorelie asked curiously.

Adam shot Eri a glance before turning back to Lorelie and asking, "Are you sure you want to talk about this now?"

"Aww, look at him be mindful of his diva girlfriend's image," Aphrodite teased, causing Rowena to chuckle.

"Hehe," Lorelie giggled at Aphrodite's comment before saying, "It's fine, I trust everyone here not to talk about our sex life."

"Uh-huh," Adam replied, still unsure before answering, "Yes, we have done it a few times."

"So what is it then?" Aphrodite asked curiously as the other women all listened in, even Eri, who was blushing slightly from the conversation.

"It's where the woman normally lies on top of the man and sucks on his cock while the man licks the woman out. It's called sixty-nine because of how the shape of the bodies makes it look like a six and a nine."

"Oh, that position," Lorelie said in realisation.

"I also know which you're talking about," Aphrodite commented.

"Figured you would," Adam replied just as they reached outside room sixty-nine and Rowena opened the door and led the way in.

"Ah ha, you're finally here," A female voice said excitedly as the group walked in to find a female Leonian who had been sitting on a sofa jump up to eagerly welcome them.

"I can't express what an honour it is to have three divas visiting my company. When my sister informed me of your request, I simply couldn't refuse," the woman rattled on before realising that she hadn't introduced herself and saying, "Where are my manners?

My name is Leiko, Maiya's sister and owner of Alpha Entertainment."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Leiko, thank you for allowing us to use one of your photo studios," Lorelie replied politely.

"It's my pleasure, it's not every day Alpha Entertainment gets to host not one, but three divas," Leiko replied while looking between the three divas before turning her head to Eri and saying in a bland, obviously disinterested tone.

"And this must be the slightly famous social media influencer Eri."

"Ah, yes," Eri replied in slight surprise, something the other three shared after hearing Leiko's bland tone.

Leiko gave Adam a quick glance, but seeing how plain-looking he was for a Terran and that he was carrying bags, she assumed he must have been an assistant, probably of Erkath Fashion, who was assigned to deliver the clothing that needed modelling and to assist in the shoot and so quickly looked away and focused on the divas again.

"If you need any assistance, then you must make sure to come ask me directly and I will be sure to provide it. Also, I hope you can spare me some time once your shoot is done, Diva Lorelie," Leiko stated.

"That depends on how long the shoot takes," Lorelie replied in the same polite tone, though anyone who was paying close attention to her would notice the slight change in her tone and the friendliness in her eyes.

"Of course, of course," Leiko replied jovially, missing the changes in Lorelie before saying, "Well, I will leave you all to it as I'm sure you have much to do, but do remember to come find me if you need anything."

As she finished speaking, Leiko waved at them before leaving the room.

"And that's why Alpha Entertainment has never made it above mid-tier," Rowena commented while shaking her head.

"Exactly," Aphrodite said in agreement before adding with a scowl, "I mean, the owner of the company didn't even notice that she indirectly insulted two divas by not greeting their boyfriend."

"One diva's boyfriend, but you are correct," Lorelie stated.

"So how do we do this?" Adam asked as if completely unfazed by the whole situation.

"Aren't you angry?" Lorelie asked.

"About what?" Adam asked.

"About not being greeted like the rest of us," Lorelie explained.

"Why would I be? I'm not famous like the rest of you. Also, I'm used to not being noticed and prefer it.

During my time in school, I always tried to stay invisible since I was least likely to be bullied and beaten up," Adam replied nonchalantly as he set the bags down.

"You have never really told us about your life before leaving Earth," Lorelie commented.

"Because there is nothing much to tell. I was orphaned at a young age, and although poor, I was smart and managed to get into one of the top schools in the city I was from, on a scholarship.

Unfortunately, that school was mostly full of the children of the rich and powerful who looked down on those beneath them and bullied them.

It was pointless making a complaint because I tried once, only for nothing to happen. I later learned that the kids' parents had made a sizable donation to the school to cover the whole thing up.

Anyway, after that, I faded into the background and tried to stay out of the limelight, though that didn't always work, of course.

And then there was Jenny."

As Adam reached this point, he fell silent as he remembered his time with Jenny and the day that she died. The woman noticed a multitude of emotions that seemed to flicker behind his eyes.

"Who's Jenny?" Aphrodite whispered into Rowena's ear.

"Adam's first girlfriend and love. She was killed in front of him shortly before he left Earth," Rowena whispered back as her eyes never left Adam's face.

Aphrodite made a small "oh" sound before falling silent again.

Adam managed to push the memories down before he knelt down and started fiddling with the bags he had been carrying.

Just as the four women thought he wasn't going to say anything else, he suddenly continued, "Jenny was probably both the best and worst thing that happened in my life.

She was the only one who didn't look down on me or judge me for being an orphan, even though she was the most popular girl in school.

When she asked me out, I was ecstatic and immediately accepted.

Of course, the fact that we were dating was quickly discovered and the bullying became even worse from all the rich guys who had been pursuing Jenny and were jealous that she had picked me.

At times, they even made subtle threats towards me, which, although concerning, I ignored and thought nothing of it because we supposedly lived in a country of laws, that was until the day we went camping and everything changed."

💫💫💫

"Is it confirmed?"

"It is. The target is at Alpha Entertainment."

"Understood. You all know the drill. We get in, we disable the security feed, we get the target, we get out. No funny business."

💫💫💫

"Did you already know any of that?" Aphrodite asked as she relaxed on a sofa in the girls' dressing room while Lorelie and Rowena got changed into the first of the outfits for the photoshoot.

"Some of it," Lorelie replied before continuing, "a viewer from Earth in Adam's stream did some research into him when he stopped streaming for two years while travelling between Earth and the Sandanar Galaxy and informed us of much of it.

Though this is the first time he has spoken about it himself."

"I wonder why he decided to talk about it now," Aphrodite wondered.

"I don't think there's any major secret as to why, it's probably just as he said, it's never come up before," Rowena replied before continuing, "look at how he mainly only talked about himself, his past on Earth and the bullying he received. He still barely spoke about Jenny, except for that she was the one to ask him out, and he stopped short of telling us how she died."
