"Well, I guess wearing my anti-gravity armour wouldn't be very romantic for a honeymoon, now would it?" Adam suddenly stated with a smirk.
"What's this? You plan to wear your anti-gravity armour on our honeymoon?" Rowena asked with a displeased frown before saying, "Oh no, my husband is not taking me around E'elthaes while wearing something like that."

"Sure, sure," Adam replied while shaking his head before he stood up and said, "Shall we go?"
"Lead the way, oh husband of mine," Rowena said happily as she followed Adam out of the mess hall and towards the hangar.
As she passed, Rowena turned to see that Spector Unit 6 was still being repaired from its recent battle and asked, "How long before that's operational again?"
Adam looked at Spector Unit 6 before asking, "Spector?"
"Estimated time for completion of repairs is twenty-seven hours, thirty-six minutes and seven seconds," Spector responded.
"Why? Expecting trouble?" Adam asked curiously.
"Not particularly, I was just hoping that my new husband could take me out for a ride in it. It's not every girl who gets to ride in the legendary Black Knight after all," Rowena replied mischievously.
"You're enjoying this way too much, aren't you?" Adam asked while shaking his head.
"Of course, I have been married several times in the past, but this is the first time I have ever pretended to be married; it's a novel experience and I am going to use the opportunity to see if I'm still wife material," Rowena replied.
"Why do you need to check if you're still wife material? I can tell you right now that you are, and any man would be lucky to have you," Adam replied honestly as he continued to walk towards the shuttle without looking back.
Since he didn't look back, he missed the surprised look on Rowena's face that was followed by a blushing smile as she said, "You, you think so, huh?"

"I do indeed think so. Did your nasty breakup with Philip and his words affect you that much?" Adam asked as he stopped and turned to look at her with a look of concern.
"I guess so," Rowena said as she stopped in front of Adam and thought about his words before saying, "I haven't really thought about it till now. No, that's not right. It's more like I was scared to think about it. I guess I was scared to enter another relationship or to get married, in case a repeat of what happened with Philip took place if I refused to turn them."
"That's not something to be ashamed of," Adam replied softly. "You loved Philip after all, and he turned on you and said all those harsh things to you in front of such a large crowd. That you still stayed with him even after that until the day he died shows how much you truly cared and loved him, even if you couldn't see yourself spending the rest of eternity with him."
"I see now why so many women are falling into your clutches," Rowena said with a wink.
"Huh?" Adam asked as he tilted his head in confusion.
"Hehe," Rowena giggled as she tapped Adam on the shoulder before saying, "You really are dense sometimes, aren't you?" After which, she playfully skipped away and boarded the shuttle without looking back.
[OrangeeyedStace (Felinia 7): Sometimes I can't decide if him being so dense about these things is a blessing or a curse.]
[OfficialLorelie (Felinia 7): It's probably a good thing; if he knew what he was doing, he would bring a new girl home every week. This way, at least, we get to decide who joins the harem.

Adam watched Rowena board the shuttle with a confused expression before his eyes drifted down to check out her ass, which he could have sworn was shaking more than normal. After she vanished, he shook his head again before following her aboard and sitting in the pilot's seat next to Rowena, who had already taken the co-pilot's seat.
Adam took the controls and smoothly piloted the shuttle out of the landing bay by having it pass through the force field before heading towards the nearest space station, which soon hailed him as they detected his sudden appearance nearby.
"Solarian Prime Orbital Control to Spector Unit Five, we have detected your arrival in orbit and request you transmit your reason for visit and landing permits."

[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): They probably didn't notice their sudden appearance on their sensors and figured that they had just missed them. Numerous ships are arriving and leaving all the time, and it's impossible for a biological creature to monitor all of them; that's why they have computers.
The computer is probably not set up to recognise the sudden appearance of a shuttle as a threat, however, and instead just marked it as the operator's next contact because of its sudden appearance.]

"Copy that, Solarian Prime Orbital Control, my wife and I are here on our honeymoon, transmitting landing permits now," Adam replied before sending the landing permits that Spector had forged for them.
There was silence on the comm for a few moments while the orbital control operator checked the landing permits.

"Permits confirmed. Welcome to Solarian Prime. Please head for Orbital Station docking bay forty-eight, and we hope you have a pleasant honeymoon," the orbital control operator suddenly said.
"Thank you, orbital control, you have a good day," Adam replied before sighing in relief slightly.
"See that, honey? People are already blessing our marriage," Rowena said as she gently touched Adam's arm and smiled at him.
"You're really trying to make the girls jealous, aren't you?" Adam asked with a sigh.
"Only one certain slutty girl," Rowena replied before adding, "If Stacey and Lorelie get jealous over something small like this, then they need to ask themselves if they really trust and love you as much as they claim."
