He quickly recalled today's events. Apparently, what made today different from the previous two days… was that he had killed someone.
Come to think of it, this was Uchiha Yuan's first kill. But to be honest, he didn't feel much emotionally.
Mainly because he had one-shotted that sensory ninja and then fled immediately. He hadn't even gotten a clear look at the corpse. Later, by the time he returned, Shibi Aburame had already handled all the Mist Ninja corpses. So how could he feel anything?
However, it seemed killing someone could yield attribute points. Though he wasn't sure what the exact rule was.
"Forget it. I'll figure it out slowly later. For now, let's play today's word game." With that thought, Uchiha Yuan spun the roulette wheel.
Moments later, a string of words appeared before his eyes:

With the ten points added, Uchiha Yuan now had 16 total attribute points. He hesitated briefly, then decided to put all 16 into ocular power to see if he could unlock the Double Tomoe Sharingan.
No sooner said than done. Uchiha Yuan dumped all 16 points into ocular power.
His stats now looked like this:

Ocular Power: 100
Vitality: 7
Nature Affinity: 4
Level: Lv16 (10/20)
Attribute Points: 0
As soon as his ocular power hit 100, Uchiha Yuan felt a stabbing pain in his right eye. Slowly, he opened his eyes, and the Sharingan activated automatically. The single tomoe in his right eye blurred and evolved into a double tomoe.
Now that both eyes had evolved into the Double Tomoe Sharingan, Uchiha Yuan felt reborn.
A single eye with double tomoe and both eyes with double tomoe were completely different.
First was the improvement in dynamic vision. Now, Uchiha Yuan could clearly see how the kikaichū bugs flying around the cave flapped their wings.
Just a few minutes ago, when only his left eye had the double tomoe, he could only make out the general path of the flying bugs—not the wing motion.
Then came a clearer view of chakra pathways inside the human body.
Finally, and most critically, Uchiha Yuan felt that his Double Tomoe Sharingan was somewhat different from the standard.
His intuition told him that his ocular power had begun enhancing his genjutsu—a trait normally only found in Three Tomoe Sharingan.
Right now, he really wanted to test whether his Double Tomoe Sharingan truly boosted genjutsu.
But since everyone in the cave was an ally, it wasn't the right time to act. He'd have to wait until the next battle to try it out on an enemy.
