Chapter 177: Don't Leave? Then Die!
Inside the Ancient Temple, countless expectant eyes were locked on the sky when a spatial vortex suddenly appeared high above.
The vortex slowly formed, releasing wave after wave of violent spatial fluctuations.
Then, a familiar young figure slowly emerged from within…
The moment some sharp-eyed individuals spotted the silhouette inside the vortex, their pupils shrank.
Immediately after, an excited, sharp voice echoed across the city.
"Lin Fan has appeared!"
The golden palace radiated brilliance—grand and majestic.
Inside the hall, several figures were seated, the atmosphere cold and oppressive.
At the front, two men sat upon thrones, emanating awe-inspiring fluctuations that surged quietly from their bodies.
To the left sat a man clad in red. Even his hair was crimson, like a burning inferno. He lazily toyed with two flaming beads in his hand, his face brimming with casual arrogance.
This man was one of the Four Generals of the Great Qian Dynasty—Fire General Zhu Tianhuo.
Seated beside him on the right was a burly man in gray. His expression was stone-cold, his massive body like a mountain. The aura around him was heavy and oppressive.
He was the Mountain General Mu Huang, also one of the Four Generals.
Zhu Tianhuo idly played with his fire beads, muttering irritably, "Are we really just going to sit here and wait? That Lin Fan better not hide in the Four Profound Sect ruins until the Hundred Dynasty War ends…"
Mu Huang rumbled in a low voice, "Doubtful. He's from a low-tier dynasty—after coming all this way, there's no way he'd skip the Hundred Dynasty War."
"Lin Fan has appeared!"
Just then, a guard's voice echoed from the palace doors.
The messenger was one of the many followers the Great Qian Dynasty had casually recruited upon arriving at the Ancient Temple.
"Let's go claim what's ours,"
Zhu Tianhuo laughed as he shot out of the hall.
Mu Huang's eyes glinted. He rose without a word and followed.
…
The entire Ancient Temple stirred in chaos as the vortex spun in the sky.
Countless eyes, filled with curiosity, greed, and schadenfreude, turned upward.
They all knew who was emerging—and they knew exactly what awaited him.
As the vortex fully formed, Lin Fan's figure emerged.
The city seemed to fall silent.
Lin Fan swept his gaze around, expression calm despite being the center of so much attention.
"Heh… so you're Lin Fan?"
Just then, a casual voice broke the silence.
Everyone turned to see two figures flying over from the golden palace.
The moment they appeared, an uproar rippled through the city.
Fire General Zhu Tianhuo and Mountain General Mu Huang—names known to all within the Ancient Temple.
Lin Fan looked at the newcomers and shook his head slightly.
So these were the "big shots"? Just two Three Yuan Nirvana Realm cultivators?
Even before entering the Ancient Treasury, Lin Fan could have crushed them with ease.
Zhu Tianhuo tilted his head with a lazy grin. "Great Qian Dynasty, Fire General Zhu Tianhuo."
"Mountain General, Mu Huang," the burly man rumbled like distant thunder.
"Great Flame Dynasty, Lin Fan," Lin Fan responded flatly.
"Why are you standing in my way?"
Zhu Tianhuo's eyes narrowed, still smiling, "We're interested in those Four Profound Sect legacies. Why don't you hand them over?"
"If you turn around and leave now, I'll spare your lives,"
Lin Fan replied coldly, glancing at them.
Zhu Tianhuo scratched his nose, smile still intact—but his eyes darkened.
"Come again?"
"My big brother said—get lost!"
A low voice boomed from Lin Fan's right as the space behind him tore open. A vortex formed, and a terrifying aura surged out like a tsunami.
For a moment, the world seemed to turn blood-red.
A deep, growling voice echoed from the swirling vortex, filled with slaughter intent—it made many people's faces pale.
"Tsk, this dumb tiger's gotten pretty cocky,"
a familiar, amused voice came from behind Lin Fan's left.
That space also split open, and two more figures stepped out.
One was so handsome it was almost unfair—prettier than most women.
There was no doubt: it was Xiao Yan, Lin Dong, and Xiao Diao.
Many stunned gazes turned to Xiao Yan.
Lin Dong and Xiao Diao, however, went largely unnoticed.
Zhu Tianhuo and Mu Huang's expressions finally hardened. The playful glint in their eyes faded a little.
"You're all here," Lin Fan turned with a smile toward the trio.
"Big brother. Second brother,"
Xiao Yan stepped forward and greeted Lin Fan and Lin Dong.
Lin Dong also greeted Lin Fan with a smile.
Xiao Diao crossed his arms, eyes scanning Lin Fan and Xiao Yan.
"Tsk tsk, looks like you two have gained a lot recently."
"Third brother, you've finally gotten a body, huh?"
Xiao Yan asked, smiling brightly.
Xiao Diao lazily nodded, then suddenly scowled.
"Third brother my ass! I'm the eldest! Lord Diao's been alive longer than both of you combined!"
Xiao Yan scratched his head and replied matter-of-factly,
"Big brother and second brother say you're third brother—so you're third brother."
Xiao Diao's face turned purple-red with rage, looking like he might explode on the spot.
"How long are you planning to act out this little drama?"
Zhu Tianhuo's cold voice cut through the moment.
His smile was gone, replaced by a sinister stare at Xiao Yan.
"You're the first one to tell the Great Qian Dynasty to get lost."
"Then don't. And die."
Lin Fan said flatly.
"Vermilion Claw!"
With a low shout, he curled the fingers of his right hand and slashed forward.
A massive crimson claw appeared in the sky!
Fwoosh!
Flames of Nirvana Fire surged atop the claw, and within its center, tendrils of Nirvana Demon Flame flickered darkly.
The air itself ignited—heatwaves rolled across the sky!
Screech—!
Wherever the claw passed, space tore apart with ear-piercing sound.
Zhu Tianhuo's expression changed. With a flick of his hand, a scarlet spear appeared.
He charged forward, spinning the spear to release a flurry of fiery sparks. Each thrust unleashed a scorching spear light, piercing straight toward the incoming crimson claw!
