Chapter 188: Fierce Bidding—Lin Fan's Plan!
The black iron seal hovered silently above Song Tai's palm, no larger than a hand.
The black dragon coiled atop it glowed with a strange light, and from its open mouth, one could almost hear an ethereal dragon's roar. Even the surrounding space felt frozen by its presence.
At this moment, the eyes of everyone in the auction hall were locked onto the Black Dragon Roaring Heaven Seal, burning with greed and desire.
"So that's a Heaven-tier spirit treasure…"
Lin Dong murmured, his eyes heavy with focus as he stared at the seal.
In the front rows, the leaders of the four super dynasties couldn't hide the longing in their expressions.
Lin Fan, however, remained calm. After all, not long ago, he had already obtained a Heaven-tier treasure himself—one even more powerful than the Black Dragon Roaring Heaven Seal.
"Black Dragon Roaring Heaven Seal, Heaven-tier spirit treasure—starting bid: eight million Nirvana Pills!"
Song Tai finally spoke, his voice calm but firm.
"Eight million Nirvana Pills?!"
Su Rou couldn't help but whisper in surprise.
She knew Heaven-tier treasures were rare and precious, but such a number was still unimaginable to her.
Lin Fan smiled.
"For a Heaven-tier treasure, that's a fair starting price. And this is just the beginning—the final bid might double or more."
Su Rou's cheeks flushed. "I just feel… Nirvana Pills suddenly seem so cheap."
Everyone chuckled at her honest remark.
Back in the Great Flame Dynasty, a single Nirvana Pill was precious beyond words. But here, they had become the currency of giants.
In truth, the value of Nirvana Pills hadn't changed—it was simply that those at different levels viewed their importance differently.
Meanwhile, the leaders of the four super dynasties had already begun to bid.
"Eight and a half million."
From the Windcloud Dynasty's section, Feng Cang was the first to speak.
They were determined to win the Black Dragon Roaring Heaven Seal—not just for its power, but because Feng Cang and Meng Lie planned to use it against Lin Fan.
"Nine million."
The Lone Moon Dynasty's Mu Lin immediately followed.
Feng Cang shot him a cold glare, but Mu Lin smiled faintly, unfazed.
They were both super dynasties—neither feared the other.
"Heh, since the two of you are fighting so fiercely, allow my Blazing Fire Dynasty to join in!"
Shirtless, with a flaming tattoo across his back, Mo Fen of the Blazing Fire Dynasty chuckled and raised his bid.
"Nine and a half million!"
The auction hall buzzed with excitement as the price neared the ten million mark.
"Ten million!"
With a booming voice, Wu Tuo of the Forest Dynasty made his move.
Lin Fan calmly watched the spectacle, unmoved.
He wasn't short on Nirvana Pills—he could offer ten million or even a hundred million if he wished.
But why spend what you can take?
His eyes flickered with amusement as they drifted toward the Windcloud Dynasty's section.
Right now, Feng Cang was certain of victory—but Lin Fan had other plans.
If Feng Cang bought the treasure, he'd likely have to borrow Nirvana Pills from Wu Tuo, and that was exactly what Lin Fan wanted.
He had no grudge with the Forest Dynasty, so robbing them directly would be inappropriate.
Letting Feng Cang borrow first—then taking it all? Perfect.
"Eighteen million!"
Lin Fan's voice rang out, crisp and confident.
The crowd gasped. A man from a low-tier dynasty dared bid so high?
Feng Cang narrowed his eyes, turning to glare at Lin Fan.
"You, from a low-tier dynasty—do you even have that many Nirvana Pills?"
Every gaze in the room turned toward Lin Fan, full of curiosity and disbelief.
Lin Fan chuckled.
"I didn't—until I visited the Four Profound Sect ruins.
Now, I just happen to have more than your Windcloud Dynasty. Imagine that."
The crowd burst into whispers, many envious.
Mu Lin and Mo Fen exchanged glances, smiling at Feng Cang's darkening expression.
Feng Cang's face twisted.
"Who's to say you're not bluffing?"
"Then raise your bid—or shut up.
If I'm lying, Song Tai will deal with me.
Who made you auction master?"
Lin Fan said with a calm sneer.
The auction hall buzzed with laughter. Even those who disliked the Windcloud Dynasty found this deeply satisfying.
Feng Cang clenched his fists, his face ashen.
"Feng Cang," Song Tai said blandly,
"Will you continue bidding?"
"Just a moment," Feng Cang replied coldly. He then turned to Wu Tuo.
"Wu Tuo, lend me your one and a half million Nirvana Pills."
The crowd reeled in shock.
When had the Windcloud and Forest Dynasties grown so close?
Mu Lin and Mo Fen were stunned.
But Wu Tuo casually tossed a spatial pouch toward Feng Cang.
"Don't forget our deal," Wu Tuo said simply.
"You'll get what you're owed," Feng Cang replied, then turned to Lin Fan.
"You have eighteen million? Fine. I'll offer… twenty million!
Let's see you beat that! Think you can challenge me?"
Lin Fan stayed perfectly calm.
"All yours."
Lin Dong moved to raise a new bid, but Lin Fan stopped him with a smile.
Without any more interference, Feng Cang won the auction with a bid of twenty million.
"Let's go. We'll wait for them outside,"
Lin Fan said with a grin, glancing meaningfully toward the Windcloud Dynasty's direction.
