Kaguya glanced down at her attire. "Are they unpleasant to look at?"
"Not at all. They suit your status quite well," Hiroki replied.
"I see." Kaguya responded indifferently.
So that means they're not aesthetically pleasing then?
Fortunately, the Hyuga clansmen hesitated only briefly before brushing aside other concerns.
Since she had been brought in by a familiar clan member, it made sense she had some connection to the Hyuga family.
If there were no connection, the Clan Head would have already sent someone to remove her.
As for Kaguya's most suspicious feature—the two horns atop her head—no one suspected anything.
Konoha hosted various festival events every year where all sorts of unique outfits appeared.
This woman probably just has similar hobbies, they thought.
While the clan members looked on with puzzled expressions, Hiroki and Kaguya walked toward the central area of the Hyuga residence.
Near where Clan Head Hiashi resided.
Seeing Hiroki leading a strange woman here, Hiashi stepped out of his home.
Hinata, wearing a thoughtful expression, also walked out while holding Hanabi's hand.
"Hiroki, who is she?" Hiashi asked. "Is there something you need to report?"
Before Hiroki could answer, Kaguya calmly stared at this middle-aged man with an indifferent tone. "I am Kaguya Otsutsuki."
"..." Hiashi momentarily couldn't react.
Hinata, however, recognized Kaguya's voice and wore an expression of pleasant surprise. "Sister? She's even more beautiful than I imagined."
Hanabi looked utterly confused while trying to figure out their connection. "Huh? Sister's sister?"
Hiashi frowned deeply.
Sister? Had Hinata lost her mind?
I remember every clan member from her generation, and there's no one named her.
"Otsutsuki..." Hiashi muttered, suddenly recalling experiences on the moon. "Kaguya Otsutsuki? The sealed Kaguya Otsutsuki mentioned by Toneri?"
Hiroki interrupted, "Kaguya... well, Lady Kaguya Otsutsuki is our ancestor, as well as the ancestor of both the Hyuga and the Otsutsuki Clans."
Hiashi looked between the silent Kaguya and Hiroki standing before him.
What's going on here? Is he acting as her spokesperson?
Hiroki, I can't read you anymore...
And why is Hinata calling her sister?
Am I the only one left completely in the dark?
Just as Hiashi planned to ask more questions, Kaguya emotionlessly pinched Hanabi's chubby little face.
Soft and squishy.
She'd make a great knee pillow!
Hanabi: "?!"
At first puzzled, Hanabi quickly became angry, puffing up her cheeks.
A faint amused smile appeared on Kaguya's face.
These tiny children are quite entertaining indeed.

Hiroki immediately noticed this fleeting smile, silently screaming in his mind: Stop it! You little-girl admirer!
Kaguya pinched both sides of Hanabi's cheeks with both hands, squeezing them back and forth.
You creepy freak!
Hanabi was clearly upset. She angrily lifted her head, glaring at Kaguya, who had slightly lowered her gaze, and grabbed Kaguya's wrist in an attempt to push her away.
"Hanabi, don't be impolite," Hinata spoke up from the side.
Hiashi's lips twitched as he found himself glancing at her.
Hinata, what are you doing? Taking outsiders' sides against your own family?
Hanabi looked visibly hurt, her eyes dimming slightly.
Sister, didn't you see I was being picked on? Why didn't you help me?
Hiashi lightly coughed and stepped forward. "That person…"
Before he could finish speaking, Kaguya cast him a calm sidelong glance.
A powerful pressure radiated from her Byakugan, suppressing Hiashi's vision. He felt extremely uncomfortable and instinctively took a large step backward, nearly sitting down on the floor.
This exact sensation made Hiashi's heart tighten, and he confirmed at once that this woman was indeed connected to the Hyuga Clan.
"If you have something you wish to ask, then ask," Kaguya stopped tormenting Hanabi, speaking to Hiashi with a calm expression.
Hanabi huffed angrily at Kaguya before quickly walking off, distancing herself as fast as possible.
Hinata tried to grab Hanabi, but was dodged. Hanabi scoffed angrily, "Hmph! Sister's siding with that woman!"
Hinata scratched her face, looking utterly helpless.
Taking a deep breath, Hiashi's gaze shifted repeatedly between Hiroki, Hinata, and Kaguya.
"Hinata and Hiroki…"
"You may understand it this way—they were both cultivated by me personally. As for when… about the time Hinata was three years old…"
"…"
Hiashi remained silent, recalling what happened when Hinata was three.
Three years old… no wonder she used to say she wanted to be Hokage. It turns out there was someone like a witch behind her all along—oh right, an ancestor guiding her.
Feeling emotionally conflicted, Hiashi asked, "Hinata, is this really how things are?"
"It is," Hinata replied honestly. Terrible at lying, she nervously nodded under her father's gaze.

Even if she agreed, Toneri probably wouldn't dare accept it, Kaguya mused inwardly.
Hiashi was speechless.
I haven't even said anything yet, so how come you know exactly what I'm worrying about? It must've been my dear daughter Hinata who told you.
"Then, Honored Ancestor, why have you come to the Hyuga Clan this time…"
"I came for these two individuals, not for the Hyuga Clan."
It took an entire afternoon, but eventually Hiashi fully accepted the reality—the woman Hinata called 'Sister' was actually their ancestral matriarch.
As for her ultimate intentions, Kaguya gave no further details.
"Sister, would you like to visit some of my favorite spots?"
In the courtyard, seeing that the two had finished talking, Hinata enthusiastically invited Kaguya to tour various places.
Upon hearing that "Sister," Hiashi's expression stiffened, countless sarcastic remarks building up inside him, yet he dared not voice any.
Hanabi stamped her foot angrily as she glared at Hinata and Kaguya walking away.
Damn it, why is Big Sister being so nice to that weirdo?
I refuse to accept her as my sister!
"Oh? Do you want to come with us too?"
Kaguya turned around, casting a half-smiling glance at her before lifting her up.
Hanabi kicked her short legs wildly in the air. Face burning red, she yelled,
"Damn you, put me down this instant!"
"Bastard..."
"You little pest, if you dare kick me again, I'll give your dad a good scolding," Kaguya said with a wicked smile.
Hinata hesitated, clearly wanting to say something...
Glancing at Hiashi's stiff expression without uttering a word, Hanabi instantly quieted down somewhat, yet still refused to give Kaguya a friendly look.
Once Hanabi finally calmed down, Kaguya cradled her like a doll against her chest.
Overcome with frustration and sadness, Hanabi could do nothing but go along.
"Hinata was cuter than you when she was little. Pity, she grew up. Why can't kids just stay little forever?" Kaguya said with slight regret.
Hanabi lightly snorted, thinking: What is this person even talking about?
Hiashi had no words and could only silently watch them leave.
That's my daughter... why has she become someone else's plaything?
Hiroki had already left quietly.
"Hiashi, who exactly was that..." Hearing Hanabi's yelling, his wife stepped outside while busy with housework. Seeing Kaguya and Hinata holding hands and walking away, she couldn't help but ask.
"She's an elder who's been living in isolation outside the village for years. She returned today."
