The battlefield had barely begun to settle when the sky split open.
A thunderous chime rang out across the world, followed by a cascade of fractal light that burst from above. The six warriors—Sylvan, Alex, Selene, Kyle, Eric, and Koba—looked upward as a colossal ring of prismatic energy unfolded in the heavens, revealing a swirling portal of chaotic power.

"Here we go again," Alex muttered as a surge of energy pulled them upward.
The Chaos Core Realm
They were no longer in the forest.
The six stood on a floating obsidian platform, suspended in a void filled with shimmering glyphs and orbiting rings of elemental energy. A titanic, black sphere rotated slowly in the center, crackling with lightning and leaking motes of pure essence—the Chaos System Core.

The voice echoed across reality, ancient and absolute.
Pillars of light descended on each of them.

His aura rippled, reality distorting around him.
And then came the final surge.
His veins glowed, his body cracked with cosmic energy. An unfamiliar roar echoed from within him. Scales formed along his arms. His eyes turned slit-pupiled.

Flame. Water. World Force. All surged through him.
A majestic, glittering dragon form—scales like diamonds, wings of light, and breath of universal flame—briefly flashed into existence.
Then it vanished, and Sylvan collapsed to one knee, panting.
Reunion and Warning
He returned to the platform, met with wide eyes and stunned silence.
"What happened to you?" Selene asked.
Kyle blinked. "You looked like a dragon made of stars."
Sylvan smirked. "What can I say? I'm versatile."
Then he grew serious.
"But seriously... don't tell anyone what you saw. About me absorbing bloodlines or turning into... that. It's dangerous. Too many eyes."
"Secret's safe," Alex nodded. "For now."
The system voice returned:

The sky above the Chaos Core cracked again. Another rift opened, deeper and darker than before.
