A feeling of worry was still all over the Ravenclaw castle. Quiet talks moved through its hallways like fog, going from worker to guard, from fighter to leader. Evelyn knew this well: stories could travel faster than what was real. Already, stories about Luna's strange way of acting toward the lost wolf had started to travel outside the walls. Her people were asking questions in bars and markets. Those questions were turning into worries. And Evelyn knew that worries could bring down rulers.

She pulled her cloak tighter around her as she walked into the war room. Big maps were spread out on the large table, with pins showing areas of land, who were friends with whom, and arguments about borders. George Rowland was standing there, waiting, his rough hands on the edge of the table. He looked up at her, calm but serious.

"My Luna," he said as he bowed a little. "We have some worrying news."
