Chapter 77 - Chapter 77: Their Respective Batt

"The Whitebeard Pirates' First Division Commander 'Phoenix' Marco, Fourth Division Commander Thatch, and the Big Mom Pirates' Sweet Commander Charlotte Cracker—all gathered here… Even a Buster Call would tremble. This is insane. Hahaha…"

"It's over. The Spade Pirates are done for."

"As expected, even Whitebeard won't ignore a direct challenge to his authority."

"I wonder who the Red-Haired Pirates and Beasts Pirates will send. This is getting exciting!"

Some of the pirates watching had initially believed that Ace's Spade Pirates might really establish themselves in the New World. But after the arrival of two Yonko crews—with such elite forces—even if the other two Emperors didn't show up, no one believed Ace's crew could make it out alive.

The ships of the Whitebeard and Big Mom Pirates didn't land right away. They lingered offshore for a while longer.

An hour passed.

The Red-Haired Pirates and Beasts Pirates still hadn't appeared. Ace's expression hardened, but he eventually muttered:

"Looks like they won't be showing up."

Seeing Whitebeard's commanders from afar, Ace smirked slightly. "Marco and Thatch, huh? Whitebeard really thinks highly of me to send two of his top commanders."

Ace stood tall and shouted, "Men! Come with me. It's time to greet our guests!"

Without a word, his crew stood behind him, silent but determined.

---

Onboard the Moby Dick, Marco watched Ace's group standing before the Gate of Flame.

"What a promising group of young pirates," he said, genuinely impressed.

On Big Mom's flagship, Sweet Commander Charlotte Cracker, clad in his signature biscuit armor, waved at Marco. "Hey! Marco! We got here first—stay out of this one, alright? We'll handle things from here."

Cracker's orders from Big Mom were to try recruiting Ace first. If that failed, they were to crush him. But Cracker had no intention of recruiting anyone—he planned to destroy them outright.

Marco just shrugged. "We're not here to fight. Do whatever you want." He climbed the mast and sat down like a spectator.

"You're smart to stay out of this," Cracker sneered. "Alright, men! Let's show these upstarts the consequences of defying an Emperor of the Sea! Advance!"

"Yeah! Bring the ship forward! Let's sink them!"

"Such arrogant rookies…"

Thatch looked at Marco. "You sure we're not stepping in? Dad's interested in Ace, right? If that biscuit freak kills him, won't that ruin everything?"

Marco chuckled. "Relax. I won't let him die. But if that's all the potential Ace has, then he was never worth it."

---

Suddenly, Jinbe emerged from the sea and leapt aboard the Whitebeard ship. "Marco!"

"Jinbe? You're here too?" Marco blinked in surprise.

Jinbe nodded. "I tried to take down Ace's flag before you all arrived to prevent unnecessary conflict. I failed."

"Haha! That's just like you," Marco laughed. "But wait… You lost to that rookie?"

"I didn't lose," Jinbe said firmly. "I surrendered. After seeing their resolve, I couldn't bear to fight further."

Jinbe looked Marco straight in the eye. "If you're planning to attack Ace and his crew, I beg you—stand down, for my sake."

Marco's gaze sharpened. "You're asking us to spare them? Now I'm even more curious."

He looked back toward the battlefield. "But if they can't survive Cracker's assault, they don't deserve to sail under their flag."

---

Cracker hadn't come alone. Alongside him were three sub-commanders with bounties over 100 million berries and dozens of elite fighters from the Big Mom Pirates.

As Cracker's ship approached, Portgas D. Ace stood before the Gate of Flame, his body blazing with flames.

"Crew! Let's defeat them!" Ace roared, then dashed forward, leading the charge.

"Fire Fist!"

A massive fireball crashed down from the sky, sending Cracker flying back and splitting the battlefield with walls of searing flame.

"So this is your fire?" Cracker scoffed, stepping from the rubble. "If that's all you've got, Flame Boy, you won't even be able to burn my armor."

Ace just smiled without a word. He stood calmly, not attacking again.

His flames hadn't just been an opening blow—they were meant to divide the battlefield.

---

The battlefield split into five zones:

Battlefield 1: Ace vs. Charlotte Cracker, Sweet Commander of the Big Mom Pirates.

Battlefield 2: Swordsman Kukai vs. a Big Mom Pirate with a bounty over 100 million berries.

Battlefield 3: Cyborg Aki vs. another Big Mom Pirate with a bounty over 100 million.

Battlefield 4: Twin brothers Seba and Barry vs. a 200-million-berry-level Big Mom pirate.

Battlefield 5: Longarm Tribe warrior Rockflow, Tontatta warrior Fenner More, navigator Cornelia, and gunner Skar vs. 37 elite Big Mom pirates.

From all corners of the battlefield, explosions, slashes, and gunfire echoed through the flames.

Thus began the all-out war between the Spade Pirates and one of the Yonko crews.
