Chapter 201 – Shock: A Clash That Splits the Sky

"Who dares cause chaos in my territory!?"

A voice louder than thunder roared through the skies. From the direction of the Flower Capital, a massive dragon flew toward them, scales shimmering, lightning crackling around its body.

"Damn it, old man!" Yamato's expression changed instantly when she saw the enormous azure dragon. Panic flashed across her face as she shouted to Ace, "Ace, hurry! Run away!"

"Kaido, huh?" Ace raised his head, eyes narrowing as the colossal figure in the sky grew closer. A flicker of excitement crossed his face. Then he smiled and said calmly, "Don't worry. After Marineford, I've been meaning to see how I stack up against a Yonko anyway."

"But—you'll die!" Yamato cried, her voice trembling.

In her heart, Kaido was an unshakable mountain. Even though Ace had just defeated King, she couldn't imagine anyone in the world capable of toppling that monster.

Ace just smiled, confident and unyielding. "Relax. I'm not dying that easily."

---

High above, King the Wildfire flapped his black wings, a look of relief flashing in his eyes as he saw the familiar dragon. But then his expression shifted when he noticed Kaido's sluggish flight.

"Boss Kaido…" he muttered under his breath. "Are you drunk again?"

Moments later, the massive dragon descended, coiling above them within a swirl of thunderclouds. His enormous head lowered, eyes like molten gold glaring down.

"Who's the fool causing trouble on my turf?" Kaido's voice thundered, shaking the air.

"Lord Kaido!" King shouted, flying up to meet him.

"Hiccup—oh, it's you, King!" Kaido's golden eyes swiveled lazily to him. When he noticed King's tattered state, he burst into a booming laugh. "Bwahaha! You look pathetic! Who the hell did this to you?"

Then, in a heartbeat, the humor vanished from his face. Kaido's gaze locked on Ace below. "Was it you, brat?"

Ace looked up, completely unfazed. "Yeah. That was me."

Kaido's expression darkened. "You've got guts, punk. Wreaking havoc on my island… you think you can just stroll away?"

The air trembled as Kaido opened his jaws, golden light condensing inside his mouth.

"It's Heat Breath—Ace, dodge it!" Yamato shouted.

"Disappear, brat! Blast Breath!"

The golden beam shot forth, splitting the sky as it roared toward Ace.

But Ace only chuckled, planting his feet and inhaling sharply. Heat gathered in his chest as his entire body ignited with searing flames.

"Dragon Slayer's Breath—Roar of the Fire Dragon!"

A colossal dragon of fire erupted from his mouth, meeting Kaido's blast head-on.

BOOM!

The collision tore through the air. A violent shockwave swept across the land, ripping trees from their roots and scattering the thunderclouds above.

The sky itself seemed to split apart.

Kaido's massive body was fully revealed now—his scales glinting gold under the sunlight. He looked down at Ace and gave a sharp-toothed grin.

"Hah! You actually made me sober up. Well done, kid!"

Ace grinned, pushing his hat back with one hand. "Glad I could help."

---

"Brat, I know you," Kaido said, his voice rumbling like distant thunder. "You're that punk who made waves at Marineford—the one Whitebeard called his heir, right?"

"Yeah," Ace replied simply.

"And a while back," Kaido continued, "you were the one who wrecked my SMILE production line in Dressrosa… and killed that idiot Jack, weren't you?"

Ace smiled faintly. "That's right."

Kaido's massive form shrank in an instant as he reverted to his human-dragon hybrid form, landing heavily in front of Ace. Even standing still, his sheer presence was suffocating.

"You ruined my business. You killed one of my All-Stars. And now you've come waltzing into Wano?" Kaido's voice grew low, dangerous. "Tell me, brat—are you provoking me?"

Ace met his gaze without flinching. "I wasn't planning to, but now that I'm here…" His eyes burned like molten gold as he clenched his fists. "Yeah. I'm challenging you, Kaido!"

"…What?" Kaido's eyes narrowed, and then his aura exploded outward like a storm. The ground cracked beneath his feet.

"Arrogant little brat!"

Lightning fell from the clouds, striking his iron-studded kanabo club. Electricity crackled and danced around it as he raised it high.

"Thunder Bagua!"

BOOM!

Kaido swung the club with the force of a natural disaster, air pressure alone splitting the ground.

Ace roared in answer, flames turning violet as they engulfed his body. His eyes glowed the same shade as his fire, and his skin shimmered with a molten sheen. His aura exploded—raw, searing, divine.

The Emperor Flame Form—Entei.

Purple flames roared around his towering four-meter frame. The sheer heat distorted the air, his Haki coating his entire body in dark armor patterns shaped like ancient flame totems.

He raised one burning fist, the flames condensing and twisting around it as his Armament Haki intensified.

"Three Styles of Flame Armament—Emperor's Seal!"

RUMBLE!

Kaido's Thunder Bagua and Ace's Flame Emperor's Seal collided, creating a blinding flash. The impact shattered mountaintops and split the heavens themselves.

The very sky above Wano cracked open—thunderclouds torn apart, revealing a strip of blinding blue sky.

A clash between two kings—one born of flame, the other of storm—had begun.
