Jesse swiftly raised his rifle toward the beast as the creature tore the nails from its hand and advanced toward him. Jesse fired at it, creating a gaping hole in its belly. But the beast raised its arm and delivered a powerful blow toward Jesse, sending him flying through the air. However, Jesse had blocked the strike with his shield, and while airborne, he looked toward the beast with pain clearly visible on his face, quickly aimed his weapon at it, and fired. The beast swiftly dodged the bullet and headed toward Jesse as he fell to the ground, delivering another blow that destroyed his shield and caused him to crash into his car. This caused a fracture in his leg, making him scream in pain. Jesse looked toward the beast slowly approaching him while breathing heavily due to the pain from the fracture, saying to himself: "This is extremely painful. I think my leg is broken and my wounds are getting worse. I'm in terrible condition. I don't know if the boy is still alive or not, or if I'll even survive this. Damn, this hurts so much. I don't have time to think or feel pain - I need to do something before that thing kills me."
He used the car to help himself stand, feeling some pain in his broken leg, but continued toward the car's trunk. He retrieved some bandages and quickly covered his wounds, then picked up another weapon with his other hand. It was an old metal weapon covered in rust on all sides. Jesse turned toward the beast, which was only a few meters away from him, and aimed his first pistol at its leg and the second at its head. He took a deep breath and quickly pressed the trigger. Two bullets shot from his pistols, speeding toward their target. The first shot hit its leg while it dodged the second, causing it to fall. The beast's blood returned to fill the gap in its leg, but it couldn't move with it.
The beast looked at Jesse with its bloodthirsty eyes and wounded its own arm. Quickly, before its blood could solidify, it extended its hand straight and twisted it in a swift motion from left to right. Blood flowed from the wound in the shape of a crimson crescent and began to solidify in the air, heading toward Jesse. Expressions of surprise and shock appeared on Jesse's face, but he recovered quickly, aimed his pistol at it, and fired, turning it into small scattered fragments. Jesse and the beast exchanged sharp glances, knowing they had reached the end of a confrontation where the final blow would determine who would survive and who would perish.
The beast prepared its remaining leg to propel itself quickly toward Jesse and shattered its left arm, letting blood flow downward, shaping it into a long sword with a sharp edge. In the blink of an eye, it used its remaining leg to propel itself quickly toward him. Jesse aimed both his pistols at it as fast as he could and pressed the trigger. (Sound of gunfire) The sound of the final shot spread throughout the area, announcing the winner of this battle.
Later, the boy slowly opened his eyes with pain spreading throughout his body. He rose slowly and began looking left and right while expressions of confusion dominated his face. The atmosphere was quiet, while the area was covered by the light of the setting sun's rays. The boy gathered himself and got out of the car. When the boy put his foot on the ground, he noticed that Jesse was lying in front of the car with a serious wound extending along his face, and in front of him was the beast's corpse. It was lying on the ground headless - there was only a huge pool of its solidified blood where its head had been, like red crystal, with some of it scattered on the ground.
The boy looked at Jesse with worry clearly visible on his face and began trying to wake him up. Jesse then began to slowly open his eyes and in a muffled, low voice said to him: "Water... bring me the water that's in the car." The boy rushed toward the car, searching for water until he found one bottle and began giving it to Jesse to drink. Jesse looked at the boy and told him to bring some bandages and canned food from the car because he couldn't move or do anything. The boy brought the canned food and Jesse began eating while teaching the boy how to wrap bandages around his wounds. The boy carried him into the car while Jesse started it and drove away from the city, leaving the beast's mutilated corpse behind as decoration in this miserable, featureless city.
